  1. Just my guess, the next time he steps on the field will be for his WOF induction ceremony.
  2. Loved him in Coach http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/democratandchronicle/obituary.aspx?n=jerry-van-dyke&pid=187759364
  3. Nice article thanks for sharing.
  4. Fortunately there really aren't any bad choices, just differing degrees of good choices. I'll either be at O'loughlin's in Northwest Irondequoit or The Craft in Niagara Falls. Heard they're having a tailgate on the patio starting at 10:00 AM. Same guy that plays at the 97 Rock Party at the Big Tree Inn on game day will be playing.
  5. Awesome...Wouldn't have wanted to be the next caller
  6. At the party I was at last nite a guy received a picture in a text from his eighteen year old son of the kid's ultrasound that said "here's a picture of me the last time the Bills made the playoffs"
  7. Took Eric Moulds until year three to really blossom. Just sayin,' give the guy a chance. Not like he's from a big time school, might be a bit overwhelmed this year.
  8. For any baseball enthusiasts I highly recommend The Battered Bastards of Baseball. True documentary about an independent class A minor league team owned by Kurt Russell's father Bing. Not a farm team to anyone, the team played for five seasons in the 70's.
  9. must be the roster move they weren't gong to make at this time by moving Glenn to IR
  10. My urologist "suggested" I stop drinking alcohol and caffeine for a while. My reaction was I drink 4 things-Beer, wine, coffee, and water. He told me I can still drink water. Or herbal tea. That was on my 61st birthday 4 weeks ago today. Literally drank tea (herbal of course) at the last two pre and post game tailgates. Suffice it to say tea is not my cup of tea. Hopefully he gives me a green light to at least drink alcohol when I see him next week. 60's have been great, can hardly wait for my 70's!
  11. Makes sense to me. Appreciate the insight!
  12. First ever Atlanta Falcon http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/atlanta-falcons-great-tommy-nobis-dies-74-51772293
  13. Thanks for the info. Hope the open air / commitment to tailgating parts are accurate.
  14. yes they are yes to the different tires in the winter. Don't know how long you've been gone
  15. What shocked me was how totally unprepared the maintenance staff was for the game. Leaf blowers to clear the yardage markers every five yards? What happened to those huge sweepers on the front of tractors? Thawed out yet? Just finished pushing cars out of the lot! (kidding)
  16. Game was a blast. Drive back to Rochester not so much.
  17. Good front 9 today. Out in 31, in the lead.
  18. Bills Rochester Red Wings Rochester Knghthawks
  19. Has to do with preparation, knowing where your hot receiver is going to be and him always being there. Reason he's the best is because he works the hardest.
  20. I was just scanning through to see if anyone else felt like this. This was at best just a terrible call. More likely a home call, or a ref trying to bail out one of his fellow refs (away from the camera in the OP's video there was about to be an argument between McD and a ref who called out of bounds, McD saying he was down by contact.) Either way players can be fined for blatant targeting hits, refs should be suspended for blatant missed calls of this magnitude.
  21. So sorry for your loss. Time will ease your pain
  22. Seriously? That's great. Out of curiosity do you do it in less than an hour? Great even if the answer is no.
  23. Someone has to say this...who better?
  24. As to the number of people directly affected you are of course correct. As to the mindset of the community, the effects were similar.
  25. 1) First home game after terrorist attack. You can't compete with the energy the home team gets off that. As I said in another thread, refer to the 2006 home opener for New Orleans, their first game back in the super dome after Katrina.
