I think the moves today (Gaines and Williams signings) created depth and opens the doors to drafting best available. IMO Edge rusher and RB seem to be biggest needs as of now.

I agree that he played the second half too conservatively, still, had one of the best units in football with only one All-pro. You could have argued that Daboll's play calling was too conservative most of the season.

As much as we would agree that the offense needs to improve, they did play a stout Steelers D, leading the league in sacks and turnovers. Everyone knew it would be an offensive struggle.

In a league where player safety is harped I don't understand how NFL even considers a bye week a team. Teams in other conferences and divisions don't play the same team and the schedule can be skewed. For a sport as physically demanding as football as, that extra week off is huge to let players rest. Having the home field advantage throughout the playoffs should be adequate reward for having best record.
