Yeah, I did not understand the decision to give away an opportunity to score points. NE*** would have and they did against us with further to go and less time on the clock.
Lorax is right, this team needs to mentally toughen up; from the coaches, the players and all the way down to the ball boys.
"What is the main reason you watch the game every sunday?"
I want to watch competitive football. I want to see two good teams play a good game.
Today's game was almost surreal. Especially in the 4th qtr. when it seemed NE gave up, which was never the case. Anyway it was a good win, everyone contributed, the breaks went our way for a change, and the refs called a decent game. (Maybe they did not get the envelope before the game?)
Haven;t the Bills done this historically. Trade, let walk, fail to resign, or outright cut our best players and bring in "fresh" players through the draft (mistake prone rookies that don;t pan out) or free agency (retreads) only to pull together players unfamiliar with each other and whatever system is being installed at the time and hope and pray they "gell" during training camp?
Constantly churning over coaches and players because they did not win in their first or second years is like repeatably banging your head against the wall expecting different results each time.
The best teams in the league have several things in common; a win at all cost mentality, excellent college scouting, and consistency at the top.
Most NY Giant fans hated Bill Parcells until.... he won a Super Bowl.
As happy as I am that I do not have to put up with those insufferable a$$h*les and hear all about how great Brady, Grunk, and Bellicheat are for two weeks, the one thing I am disappointed in is watching them get destroyed by Carolina!
He can think that he is elite all he wants. Good confidence is what you expect out of a cb.
However, show me some probowls, before you pay him elite money.
