Josh needs 3 yards of separation to possibly complete a pass, meanwhile Dalton was completing passes with 2 feet of separation. Get a grip, Josh is not playing well. I hope he gets better. Go Bills.

I believe you get what you pay for, and at the moment dollars are not being spent on the Defense. With the exception of 2020, the points allowed per game ranking was close to matching total defensive spending. At the moment the defense is not very good, but they made some important stops in the last 2 losses, the problem was the offense could not capitalize. 2020 The Bills were # 2 in spending on defense in the NFL, resulting in being #14 Total D allowing 349 yds a game. # 17 against the run, 119 yds a game. #13 against the pass 233 yards a game. Allowing 23.2 points a game, ranking #14 in the NFL 2021 The Bills were # 2 in spending on defense in the NFL, resulting in being #1 total D allowing 273 yards a game. #13 against the run,110 yards a game. #1 against the pass, 163 Yards a game. Allowing 18.3 points a game, ranking #1 in the NFL 2022 The Bills were # 6 in spending on defense in the NFL, resulting in being #6 total D allowing 319 Yards a game. #5 against the run, 105 yards a game, 315 against the pass, 214 yards a game. Allowing 19.1 points a game, ranking #4 in the NFL 2023 The Bills were # 2 in spending on defense in the NFL, resulting in being #9 Total D allowing 307 yards a game, #15 against the run, #7 against the pass, 197 yards a game. (Interesting note Von Miller ate 15 million or 13% of total defensive spending while only producing 1 solo tackle and 1 assisted tackle for the season.) Allowing 18.7 points a game, ranking #3 in the NFL 2024 The Bills were #18 in spending on defense in the NFL, resulting in being #17 total D, #12 against the run, #24 against the pass, 226 yards a game. Allowing 21.6 points a game, ranking #12 in the NFL 2025 the bills are #17 in spending on defense and are so far #15 in total D allowing 323 yards a game, #31 against the run, 156 yards a game, #2 against the pass, 167 yards a game. Allowing 22.8 points a game, ranking #17 in the NFL Conclusion.. you get what you pay for. Think about it, Knox is making 14.6 million this year (7 receptions for 73 yards, 1 TD so far), Bosa is making 12.6 million having 6 solo tackles, 8 assists, 4 FF, and 2 sacks. Is Knox contributing as much to the offense as Bosa is to the defense? I think not. Go Bills!!!

IMO Just like every offensive coordinator; he is auditioning for a HC job. Having a two-time MVP would be a massive accomplishment on ay HC job resume. I think that sometimes he abandons the run too quickly to try to pad Josh's stats. In Ken Dorsey's last game, he abandoned the run while averaging over 7 yards a carry to try to improve Josh's stats during that game, that's what got him fired.

I think this year is the year of keeping the games close in the NFL, TV ratings are skyrocketing with close games. Making the networks and content providers happy. We all know that holding can be called on any play, it's the most effective penalty to either stop drive or to keep one going.

IMO This Offense was built to be a bully, to punish a defense with an 8-minute, 12 play drive resulting in a touchdown. Wearing the opposing defense down and breaking their will. Yes, it does keep the Bills defense off the field, but is that a bad thing? I think it's crazy to want the Bills defense on the field more. And when things are clicking and the Bills are rolling off 6 and 7 yards a play in the late 3rd and 4th quarter, there is nothing better than sitting back and enjoying the beatdown knowing, the opposing team has already quit. It's when they try to get cute and be something they are not, that things go bad. They haven't really played consistently like that this year, hopefully we see it Monday night. Go Bills!!!

I think the offense, like it or not, plays to Josh's strengths and avoid his weaknesses.

I have posted this before. I will again. Since 2019 the Bills have played 9 playoff games that were not against KC, allowing only 19.2 points per game and having a record of 7-2. Since 2019 the Bills have played 4 playoff games against KC allowing a whopping 35 Points per game and an 0-4 record. The problem with the Defense is against only 1 team. It's significant, over a 15.8 point game swing.

So, you think he should play about 7 snaps a game or less? What would you consider to be the appropriate snap count for Bosa?

SB Nation's 2022 first round re-draft has Benford going #23, Cook going #20, and Shakir going #18. I think getting 3 first rounders in the 2nd, 5th, and 6th rounds more than makes up for the Elam miss. 2022 NFL re-draft SB Nation

Sometimes the other guy is just better

The Ravens have 2 Offensive players that are on the NFL's top 10 players list. Jackson as the second-best player in the league, and Henrey as the 7th best player in the league. This offense is going to score a lot of points with their superior talent. I will reserve judgment on the Bills D after a larger sample size, and not against the best offense in the NFL. The Bills D found a way to turn the ball over and make the stop when needed, giving Allen the chance to show the world why he should be the #1 player in the league instead of #3, and puts a huge week 1 accomplishment in his 2025 MVP resume. What a win!!! 20-0!!! Go Bills!!! -
Reverse The Curse!!!! They will win 4 in a row. Seen it here first

He is 9-for-9 in his career on field goal attempts in the last minute of the fourth quarter or overtime, and has made five game-winning field goals in the final minute.

The yacht was purchased and delivered in 2021. The funding for the stadium was signed in 2022. The Fox article makes it sound like yacht was purchased after the stadium finances was secured with state help. The original article in the NY post clearly states the boat was purchased and delivered in 2021.

PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion

I am curious, is there anyone here that is still on the waiting list and has not been called yet? -
Wasn't there a thread about the same thing last year after the Bills lost to Chicago 33-6 in the preseason. I searched for the game thread from last year's preseason game to compare over reactions of doom and gloom from a meaningless game, but it looks like it was deleted. Everyone had the Bears winning the division and the Bills not making the playoffs after that game.

Bills vs Eagles in Super Bowl LX, obviously they are picking the Bills to win it all as lightning strikes. New Era 2025 NFL Sidelines. -
The NFL is one corporation they can decide where he is offered a position in that corporation. Cook is free to join the competitors such as the NHL, MLB, or NBA if he desires.

McDermott not in Top 10 of NFL coaches per PFF.

Thanks for the correction. -
McDermott not in Top 10 of NFL coaches per PFF.
OldNMBillsFan replied to 14774's topic in The Stadium Wall
I totally disagree, that was 13 years ago. He is ranking head coaches as of now, not 13 years ago. McDermott wasn't even a head coach during the 2012 season. Again, Harbaugh has not got past the Bills in the payoffs with a 3-time MVP QB that many consider to be better the Allen. And this clown ranks him #4 and McDermott 11th. -

OldNMBillsFan replied to 14774's topic in The Stadium Wall
This clown lists John Harbaugh of the Baltimore Ravens #4, yet he continues to fall far shorter than McDermott in the playoffs while having a 3-time MVP quarterback. Lamar Jackson is consistently ranked as a better QB than Allen at PFF and many other sites (although many of us Bills fans would disagree). McDermott is 2-0 against Harbaugh and Jackson in the playoffs. Harbaughs has a dismal record of 3-5 in the playoffs since Jacksons arrival compared to McDermotts 7-6 with Josh Allen, yet he lists McDermott as 11th with the only reason being his playoff record, mainly losing to the Chiefs. How can he justify ranking Harbaugh as 4th when he can't get past either the Bills or the Chiefs in the playoffs and put McDermott is 11th when Mcdermott has clearly has out coached Harbough with a lesser ranked QB (according to PFF)? -

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
OldNMBillsFan replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Statistically speaking, the Bills receiving group was at least top 10 in almost all receiving categories. Being that the Bills were more run heavy last year, and successful at it, there were far fewer attempts than most teams. They had 329 passing attempts placing them in 27th, with 3938 yards 17th in the league. But when they did pass the ball, they were more efficient than most teams. They averaged 12 yards per attempt, tied for 5th. They had 30 receiving TDs, tied for 7th. 56 20+ yard receptions, tied for 5th. 11 40+ yard receptions tied for 5th. Had a 55% chance of first down per reception, tied for 9th. Amazing stats for supposedly being the weakest group in the NFL.
