Here is my thing about TT.... since he left the Bills. Ummm.... nothing special So he was just an average QB. You would think with the high skill of OC's and QB coaches in the NFL someone would have made something great out of him, if he had elite talent in him. Owners spend millions on amazing coaches, training staff, specialist, scouts.... everyone missed it over the last 10 years? To paraphrase Dennis Green "He was... what we thought he was"....an average QB Sometimes teams do miss out on a QB... but after 10 years of seeing him?

What is taking so long is the trade for picks for Oliver to to the Bears to clear Salary Cap space for D. HOP. Bears are offering a 3rd or or a 4th ( with a late 7th too). BB probably wants a 3rd 2023 plus a 4th or 5th next year.. So it is close...

Ok I will play this game... Shakir and a 3rd 2023, and a 5th 2024 for D hop and 6th this year. We still draft a 1st round WR... We need to get younger at WR.

My entire point was to not blow up the entire roster and rebuild, but to be slightly more aggressive with the cuts and trades then we normally need to. With JA 17 we have Super Bowl or MVP type type QB for a while. We need some room next year for a larger push. I am ok with a 10-7 season this upcoming year, and a full reload in 2024 with cap space. Remember we only lost 3 games. We will still be a playoff team if we are a little more aggressive with trades and cuts this year... then take our shot in 2024 with $$$ free Agents and packaging draft picks to move up!

Yes restructure JA17 contract. But it is time to make a few cuts or trades. Restructuring always hurts in the long run. I am not suggesting huge cuts and a full rebuild. We did not make the Super Bowl. But JA17 will be here a while, so I am willing to make few cuts. Just so we have an opportunity to a quick creation of long term cap space. Trades M Hyde is very tradeable. and getting up there in age. Hamlin will be back. ED Oliver will get us a huge trade, he is a nice player, but we need the room. AJ Epenesa he is Eric Flowers. All potential that is never realized. We will get a 4th rounder. Mitch Morris... injury prone. I don't want to cut him or Restructure. We will get 5th. (too much dead money) Easy restructures or new contracts Reggie Gilliam.... add a year and restructure ( or a flat out cut) Dion Dawkins a mild restructure Tre White Mild restructure Spencer Brown.. (I believe he will be great one day, lock him in now) Nyhiem Hines.. full restructure and add a year. Cuts Isaiah Mckenzie (or a long term low pay restructure instead of cutting) Siran Neal... nice player.. but way over paid... there are nice Safeties in the draft.

Why not... depth guy for $1.5 million with performance bonus (no sacks from his position over several games = $1 million bonus). He is not a starter. As long as McBean makes that clear to him before he signs. He is good for at least 4-5 games while a starter heals.

This might be the worst theory on this blog in a while. Or frankly any blog ever..... You don't get better skipping tough games. Your get better playing the Pats and learning. Idiots... Allen is not small running QB like RGIII or Mike Vick, Kordel Stewart, Tyrod Taylor, Doug Flutie that running is most of their talent.... He is a cannon armed guy. Imagine Drew Bledsoe with the ability to run on occation and be dangerious. That is Allen..... Go on an rip on me, I am not wrong. He is Bledsoe with wheels. DB had some accuracy issues and inpatience issues too. Allen might be able to fix that DB was not able to. But Allen can run which can cover up the impatience issues. By the way Bledsoe led a low talent team to a Super Bowl. I am not slaming Bledsoe. If we get that effort our of Allen... kind of a "hold my beer, Drew Bledsoe " moment... then watch out.

Save some cap for next year.... Don't just spend it because we have it. That is how to get in trouble. We are finally being smarter... it will pay off. There is no quick fix here. The damage to the this team took a long time to build up to this point. it will take a long time to fix.

Here is my thought... Don't these coaches and players make a bundle of money? When you coach/play at this level, it is expected that you have the skills and expertise to make it all work. I see no sign that Sean Mc does not have the stones to fire or sit or trade something/someone if it is not working. June 5th seems kinda early to worry about this as a fan. Now if this is still a problem in August......

Does anyone else notice that the NFL is catching up to Mahomes? I admit he will be good for a long time. But not this good. His weapons will leave via FA or retire or injure out. Then we will see. You put Josh on that team..... he crushes all time records...

What bothers me is this is a Dough Whaley, Rex Ryan type of an off season so far. Prove me wrong and make a few high quality hires to help entice FA to come here. Move fast... this should have been planned out months ago with the list of hires ready and their agents contacted showing interest months ago. That is not tampering, all teams do it. "Hey we maybe making some coaching changes at the end of the year, are any of your clients interested in Buffalo?" Agents know how to read between the lines. If this was not happening.. that is bad and it shows McBean did not plan for this firing.

I do wonder the same thing, who did it? I also wonder how much higher draft teams regret not taking him or lower drafting team did not trade up for him now feel. Plus how many of these teams now are apart of the anti Allen media? There are some in the media that have favorite teams and loudly admit to it (some keep it secret too). How many of those guys liked Allen for their team and are now anti Josh Allen?

Not for nothing. But look at Stubhub and other ticket sites. They are selling out fast after this announcement. Everyone wants to be there to have the chance to say... "I was there at his 1st game". It took us 4 tries to buy tickets.... people kept buying them under us.
