  1. Nope... we are moving to a Full 3-4. With Miller as a full time rush LB. We are going to draft the largest DT in the draft to be a nose. 😜🍻
  2. I agree... frankly there should be a age limit when it is under -10 degrees. But this is America and you have right to make bad decisions....
  3. Thanks you... I personally love Muck Boots... kind of ugly. But they are serious cold weather boots. I literally walk in small streams and puddles in the winter and I don't care... bone dry. But do you want style or be warm? 🤪 https://www.muckbootcompany.com/mens-snow-winter-boots/
  4. I don't want to be mean... but modern high tech clothing and battery operated clothing, foot & hand warmers.... There is no excuse for this. You have to prepare for weather that is worse then predicted. I spent many years in a Military cold weather unit. I have been trained for extended cold weather exposure. My rules for people in my group that go with me for games: Assume the stadium is 10 degrees cooler then the thermometer. Why? The concrete literally sucks heat way. The seats in the 300 level are metal. That sucks the heat from the body. The entire stadium is a natural refrigerator, when it gets below 40 degrees. Yes, just at 40 degrees... it is like 30 once inside in side the Stadium. If you get wet and cold...it is a life threatening condition. Staying dry is super important. Once wet, you will lose heat 3 to 5 times faster... or more. Do a little self test of this...Splash a bit water on your face and step outside today for a minute or 2. You will see how fast you will get cold. Exposed skin with -10 degrees wind-chill will damage your skin under just a few minutes. Cover up. Bring 2x or 3x the amount of hand/foot warmers that you think you need. They never last as long as you think they will. One of those companies even have body patches. Get them. Amazon sells them. Also, someone in your group will forget to bring them. Help out people in your row. Mafia sticks together. Going to a game in January is not about style... it is about warmth. Yes my hunting clothes has no Bills colors (except my hat). But I am never ever cold. Layers... layers... layers... spend the money this spring and buy heavy weight long underwear. It is on sale. The new stuff is pretty thin. Get the really warm stuff. Lower the alcohol intake. I am not saying don't drink. Just lower your normal intake a little bit. Being drunk you lose heat very fast and you body really does not react to the cold. Your temporarily fooled into feeling warm (that does not last any way). Get serious waterproof cold weather winter boots at least 400g of insulation (I wear 1000g)... wearing sneakers is just dumb. The parking lots always have water and mud. You must keep your feet dry. For $100-$200 investment, you might save getting toes amputated. That doctor bill will run in the thousands of dollars. For single guys (or girls) being toeless because you were dumb and not prepared is not attractive. You see player without sleeves, don't be fooled. They have very high tech stuff underneath and head right back to the warming beach a lot. They are not exposed at the same level the fans are. Plus they are expending a ton of energy... keeping them warm. Notice the heavy jackets they put on. Lots of those are heated. Just prepare and even in the coldest game you will be actually warm. I actually try to be the warmest person in my group. One person in the group has to be prepared properly just in case of an emergency. The warm person can think clearly. I know that most experienced Bills fans know all of this... but I might have just helped a 1st timer that is not from Buffalo at a January game.
  5. This had to be done..... Look at the young talent we still have now... even before the draft!
  6. I love this.... We were getting old and slow.... Poyer gone, Neal gone, Hines gone, Hyde gone, Morris gone... don't drag it out. Rip the band aid off NOW!!!! Clean up the cap NOW. We are old and slow in safeties. This does not mean these guys are not in our hearts forever... but we need to get aggressive to clean up the cap.... Constant restructure and extensions will have to come due eventually. Sorry, but we have ton of draft pics and we were quite old. Kelly, Thomas, Reed and Smith (among others) were all getting old and expensive so over 2 years we got rid of them all. We have been through this before... except Josh is still here with a top flight TE, WR, RB, 2 LBs and a solid OL.... all in or near their prime.... and Josh is not Todd Collins. This is going to be painful, maybe only 10 wins this year... but worth it! Because in 2025 we can reload completely. You cant keep playing the cap game.... you have to get younger and faster....

  8. Brown is fine for the rest of his contract. Draft a very raw, high ceiling guy in the 6th round this year. Then lets see how it plays out when Brown's contract is up in 2025.
  9. The Bills are going well under .500 for the 2024 season. Beane is going to clean out the salary cap now, make trades for draft picks for the 2025 draft. The good news is that Payoff is a 2025 great season with young amazing draft picks and free agents.. The 2026 season will be be historic in the new Stadium with a Super Bowl win..
  10. I hate to say it but I am in a little bit of a panic mode this off season. Chiefs won the super bowl and are $25 million under the caps. We are getting pretty old in critical positions and are $50 million over the cap. Von and Diggs are not cuttable/tradable because of their dead cap money. White has had 2 major injuries in his legs and is not getting younger. Our Safeties looked their age at the end of the year. A. Epenesa will get a big dollar offer from someone. L Floyd is a mercenary and will take top dollar. I don't see Greg Rousseau getting massively better, he is decent and will always be just decent. Yeah, I know that there will be a boat load of restructures and contract extensions to get us to resign a guy or two so a decent contract. But extensions and restructuring just pushes the cap issue down the road, effectively making everything much worse in the future. There is some hope.. it is not all a nightmare.... Kincaid, Shakir, Torrence, and Cook might be the real deal. Justin Shorter is huge and decently fast. Rasul Douglas is the real deal. If Milanio comes back near his old self, we have really good young LBs that step up this year a lot. Dorian Williams was a rookie and come on late in the season, imagine a good pro training off season for him. a potential 3-4 defense not a dime defense on 1st down with our young LBS. Tommy Dolye is a decent depth piece. Hines will come back at a lower price/extension. I have not given up on Kailr Elam as the 1st guy off the bench. Taylor Rapp will resign. We need to have killer draft.... almost a perfect draft. We need a DT that is 400 pound sumo wrestler to occupy 2 lineman. Oliver is best when he has a hippo next to him. An heir to Diggs as a #1 WR. maybe 2 great WR Smart athletic Safeties a DE... (yeah I know we always draft a DE) An heir to Mitch Morris. That can play both center and guard A late 7th round development QB with a high ceiling. We have been lucky with Allen's health. A fast and nasty hard hitting Safety or LB.. late round. This is super hard to hit on all of these... but for once Beane can't just have a good draft. He needs to have a great one. The future of the salary cap demands it...
  11. Everyone is going to hate this take but.... trade up as high as we can to get the best guy. Push all the chips in. We need an amazing WR. 90% of this roster is Super Bowl ready. We jut need a super star opposite S Diggs. White and Miller will be back to form.. the Defense is good enough. We have a slot guy, RB and TE.... The O-line is decent.... Barnard with M. Milanio will be amazing. Go all in and get the absolute best WR. There rest is just a depth draft.
  12. Beane will do an excellent job of cuts and restructures, I am not worried about that at all. The bigger problem is Beane has to hit several home runs in the draft and cheap FA's. He finds decent cheap FA's because of our reputation as a good team with a good culture with a top 5 QB... but we need home runs, Like Douglas (I know he was a trade)! Beane will cut some aging players... the issue is he needs to have an amazing draft for once. Not just a good or decent one. One of those drafts that people talk about for years. That is the only thing that will keep us relevant with our high cap numbers for the next 5 years!
  13. We do have the cap space for 3 games on a cheap vet deal.
  14. Can they sign him for a 3 game deal then cut him? A true mercenary move. Vet min for few games? Then go with DaQuan Jones in the playoffs. Not the dumbest idea ever right? If he is in shape, he has fresh legs for 3 games. Just play him on 1st downs.
  15. Da Bears are not competitive at all. They will take the best deal. By the time the Bears are relevant (if ever) their fans will not care about this trade. I doubt Beane will be willing to give up much for a rental.
  16. I hope he has some nastiness left in the tank. We got no one with serious nastiness on offense since crazy man... Richie Incongito. I don't care if he weighs 300lbs and has just 10 plays on the field all game. Just be nasty.
  17. I think he might be trying to beat Fitzmagic for the most teams played for....A career back-up, that can hold it together for a game or 2. TT. Baltimore Ravens (2011–2014) Buffalo Bills (2015–2017) Cleveland Browns (2018) Los Angeles Chargers (2019–2020) Houston Texans (2021) New York Giants (2022–present) Fitz St. Louis Rams (2005–2006) Cincinnati Bengals (2007–2008) Buffalo Bills (2009–2012) Tennessee Titans (2013) Houston Texans (2014) New York Jets (2015–2016) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2017–2018) Miami Dolphins (2019–2020) Washington Football Team (2021)
  18. Here is my thing about TT.... since he left the Bills. Ummm.... nothing special So he was just an average QB. You would think with the high skill of OC's and QB coaches in the NFL someone would have made something great out of him, if he had elite talent in him. Owners spend millions on amazing coaches, training staff, specialist, scouts.... everyone missed it over the last 10 years? To paraphrase Dennis Green "He was... what we thought he was"....an average QB Sometimes teams do miss out on a QB... but after 10 years of seeing him?
  19. What is taking so long is the trade for picks for Oliver to to the Bears to clear Salary Cap space for D. HOP. Bears are offering a 3rd or or a 4th ( with a late 7th too). BB probably wants a 3rd 2023 plus a 4th or 5th next year.. So it is close...
  20. Ok I will play this game... Shakir and a 3rd 2023, and a 5th 2024 for D hop and 6th this year. We still draft a 1st round WR... We need to get younger at WR.
  21. These are all rumors.... the problems are huge... Salary cap and the trade compensation... Bean is very aggressive but he is not going to sell the future for D. Hop
  22. My entire point was to not blow up the entire roster and rebuild, but to be slightly more aggressive with the cuts and trades then we normally need to. With JA 17 we have Super Bowl or MVP type type QB for a while. We need some room next year for a larger push. I am ok with a 10-7 season this upcoming year, and a full reload in 2024 with cap space. Remember we only lost 3 games. We will still be a playoff team if we are a little more aggressive with trades and cuts this year... then take our shot in 2024 with $$$ free Agents and packaging draft picks to move up!
  23. Yes restructure JA17 contract. But it is time to make a few cuts or trades. Restructuring always hurts in the long run. I am not suggesting huge cuts and a full rebuild. We did not make the Super Bowl. But JA17 will be here a while, so I am willing to make few cuts. Just so we have an opportunity to a quick creation of long term cap space. Trades M Hyde is very tradeable. and getting up there in age. Hamlin will be back. ED Oliver will get us a huge trade, he is a nice player, but we need the room. AJ Epenesa he is Eric Flowers. All potential that is never realized. We will get a 4th rounder. Mitch Morris... injury prone. I don't want to cut him or Restructure. We will get 5th. (too much dead money) Easy restructures or new contracts Reggie Gilliam.... add a year and restructure ( or a flat out cut) Dion Dawkins a mild restructure Tre White Mild restructure Spencer Brown.. (I believe he will be great one day, lock him in now) Nyhiem Hines.. full restructure and add a year. Cuts Isaiah Mckenzie (or a long term low pay restructure instead of cutting) Siran Neal... nice player.. but way over paid... there are nice Safeties in the draft.
