  1. 5 Things #1. Dorsey needs a "you suck" st your job with an ultimatum to get more consistent. #2. Get Mike Evans #3. Stop the shotgun draw #4. Utilize Cook and Murray more to change up pace and out of backfield. #5. If you can't get Mike Evans, then game plan with Kincaid in mind or find confidence in a receiver not named Diggs who Allen stares at the whole time. Bonus: Davis, Knox, Sherfield, and Harty should not be in next year's plans if at all possible.
  2. Seriously...the Bills have one offensive play. Go to Diggs. Cook ran well, but everyone else is either a JAG, overpaid, under utilized, or not a fit.
  3. I am at a loss for words about how poorly this game went, yet it's still a "W." We saw the 49ers and Eagles lose. The good news is that the Chiefs, Bengals, Dolphins, Ravens, and Jacksonville are all very flawed teams. The bad news is we are a really good team about 50% of the time. Hopefully the games that matter the most for playoff seeding and playoffs will look like how we played Miami. More questions than answers on this offense. It's really good or really bad. Shoot, even Bass-O-Matic had to be inconsistent tonight. Still, it's a "W" 😕
  4. Is there another weapon other than Diggs? This is like a playground offense.
  5. Other than a QB Sneak, every play should be designed for 4+ years.
  6. As has been mentioned, playaction passes and rollouts are great ways of establish the running game and vice versa. Using Murray and Harris more often to establish that the Bills can pound the rock a bit opens up the offense. Utilizing more of the field outside the hash marks also keeps defenses more honest in coverages which opens up some space for runs. And, of course, not running delayed draw plays and in loving that third option (Kincaid in mid passing game, Cook on short screens, Sherfield or Harty on a jet sweep can open up the passing game. If the Bills average 400 yards of offense, an ideal split would be 270 yards passing and 130 yards running.
  7. Beane will keep options open. If something makes sense and can raise the level of play, then go for it. If not, it is a chance to see the young guys step up. Just keep eyes and ears open on bettering the team. Let's see how the next few weeks play out.
  8. What a great win! Allen proved to media doubters that his slower start did not mean he was no longer a top 3 QB. When he plays like he did today, he is the best player in the NFL. The Defensive line proved that Tua and the Miami offense is good, but they can be held in check. Bills are the more complete team. What a confidence building win. Let's keep the momentum on both sides of the ball. Bills are as good if not better than any team this season. Loved seeing the Bills "Squish the Tua Fish."
  9. Buy: Bass-O-Matic. The man should get 3 field goals this game. Hold: Ed Oliver. Still having solid season but Miami's running and quick passing will mean a quality but not great game from Oliver. Sell: AJ Espensa..probably his best game ever as a pro. Believe he had improved but not pro bowl, all pro, or above average defense end level.
  10. Sign Bo Jackson to run for us and Tim Tebow to pray for us. Heehe!
  11. So nice to see a complete game today. Amazing defensive play with 7 sacks and 4 picks. Allen was efficient. Running game had good moments with and without Allen. Bass did his thing with 3 field goals. Martin boomed his punt when needed. Great all-around game. Would have liked to see Diggs or Kincaid in the endzone and one of those field goals a touchdown, but all phases of the game were very good today. Go Bills!
  12. Bills 23 Commanders 17 Wet weather slows down both teams
  13. Agree with the majority of points, and kudos to the OP for the topic. 24 hour sports cycle, a flooded market of opinions, quick access to YouTube, cell phones, ridiculous salaries, and the movement away from actual journalism all are culprits of the horrific drop in quality. It is why I am opposed to Thursday Night football. I think it actually waters down the overall product. Like any organization, if you expand too quickly, push an agenda, don't innovate, or lose focus by trying to reach/market to everyone, quality drops. Ask Disney, The Federal Government, the Roman Empire, California, or Hollywood writers for more details on how to take a nose dive. 😉
  14. Kirksey would be good to bring in on short yardage running situations or when they need a little extra power to account for so the DE's can fly to the QB and have Kirksey plug himself up near the line of scrimmage.
  15. We know our Bills need to move past the ugly lost and take the needed steps forward. What's your game day performance wishlist? Bills: GameDay Wishlist Vs Raiders 1. No turnovers by Allen 2. 2 sacks or less given up by Oline 3. Allen 250+ yards & 2+TD passes 4. 100 yards combined rushing for backs not including yards by Allen 5. A rushing TD 6. Kincaid 7+ targets 7. Diggs 8+ targets 8. A 3rd receiving option appears 9. 3+ sacks on Raiders QB 10. No rushing play over 15 yards against defense 11. Defense gets 2 turnovers 12. Bills special teams does not give up a TD 13. A home win by 10+points
  16. No, but he will not be able to reach that ceiling if he continues along making these kind of mistakes and mental errors. His offensive line, his OC, and a lack of film rool study don't help either.
  17. If the Bills play like they did in the 2nd half, then I would be ecstatic I'd be happy if we were 2-6. Josh Allen was the biggest liability on his team, tonight. Time for him to get to work. Bring in Tom Brady to show Allen what work ethic, film study, and commitment can do for ya.
  18. Josh Allen is Brett Favre minus weinergate, a few MVP awards, and one Lombardi. Exciting to watch. Strong arm. Terrible in executing smart situational football plays that lead to devastating turnovers that kills us. Capable of doing things only a handful of QB's can do. Like Favre, he is loved. Unlike Favre, he has not yet worn out his welcome. Patience is wearing thin with our QB version of Jekyll and Hyde.
  19. We are officially the Chargers! Lots of talent, but somewhere we will trip all over ourselves and find ways to lose when it matters most.
  20. Sure... Doesn't matter tonight. Zach Wilson was the better QB tonight. He did not cost his team a loss.
  21. Buy: Bass-O-Matic. I feel he is going to be called upon and gets us 3 field goals, including what ultimately is the game winner. Sell: Bernard is not a starter in my view. Hold: Harty has shown some excitement in preseason. I believe he could be good, but until I see a quick and frequent short passing game from Allen, I would hold on him.
  22. First, you spelled Mormon wrong. Second, he is not of that faith, and like most ignorant comments that are made, such comments are often a lack of research and a stereotype with only a kernel of accuracy. Third, only some splinter groups of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have multiple wives, and this practice is not in-line with the tenets of the main church in Utah. I am not a Mormon, however, I have friends in that faith that are very much opposite of your playful yet inexplicably bigoted comment. Be classy. It's kind, professional, intelligent, and just the right thing to do. Food for thought.
  23. I live in Colorado. Went to the game today. They have talent, but they aren't deep yet. Also, Nebraska is a "old name program only." No relevance in a long time. The hype is so big. Fans are saying Colorado isrunning the table. No, their ceiling this year is qualifying to be bowl eligible. Will they win 6-7 games? They should. Will they win 10? No. It will be close. I could Buffs and Broncos winning 8 games.
