First, he's not a QB in the NFL. Second, it is spelled, "Tebow", so obviously you don't know a lot about what he can bring to an NFL offense let alone spell his name correctly. Thirdly, even if he was good, the Bills would pass on him. Welcome to the board.

There was much talk about Buffalo liking Revis. Besides his character issues, there were warnings about Lynch possibly getting hurt because of some back issues. The back issues haven't surfaced, but as much as I hate to say it, we actually would've really benefited from picking up a secondary player.

We don't want our draft pick too high, because of Buffalo's propensity to get guys for the wrong positions ala Aaron Maybin, too fat ala Mike Williams, too overrated ala Poz, too sensitive and crappy ala Losman, too scared to throw the ball ala Trent Edwards, too likely to underproduce ala Donte Whitner, or too jumpy to hit a hole ala Marshawn Lynch. If Buffalo gets a top five (5) pick, I would only be excited if I knew 100% they would get a franchise type player. Otherwise, Buffalo will still be crappy with really bad cap space ala Raiders. Top 10 pick, yes. Top 5, no thank you.

Yes. Cut them both, and they will fit perfectly. Schobel is overplayed and Denney is a career journeyman that has only had the fortune of playing a lot because of the team he is on.

I like the addition of Brian Brohm. Edwards and Fitzpatrick are terrible, and Hamdan wasn't going to ever see the field. I think Buffalo should keep Brohm, find another young player (3 years or less) as another backup, and then get a QB in free agency as a stop gap for two years. Brohm and the other guy the Bills pick up and can then battle for the top spot. Knowing our luck, Hamdan signs with another team and becomes a legitimate starting QB for Miami.

Other than Bruce Smith, Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, and Jairus Byrd (yes he has already been that good) seeing Dick Jauron go is in the top 5 greatest things to happen in the Bills organization in the last 20 years. Still, as it has been mentioned on many occasions, firing a coach is simple to do. Replacing a coach that brings a culture of winning is not. Let's celebrate the firing of Jauron, but this is just a battle that has been won. The real battle is getting a real GM and a real front office. I'm smiling today, but I won't be celebrating until we hear the GM has been fired, the front office has changed and a winning coach is leading the Bills again. Wizard

As much as I would like a new QB, there isn't one that has solid starter written on him. Let's look at OT, and DT first, then let's look at QB. Yes, I don't think Trent is the long-term answer for Buffalo, but I don't see anyone in this QB class that would be ready to supplant Edwards immediately. Therefore, look at a QB in round #3 to compete with Trent. If the 2010 season shows no improvement with Edwards, then you look at QB in round #1 in 2011.

Calm down. It was against Notre Dame. Last time I checked, Notre Dame plays in an independent league, is no longer a top 25 team, hasn't won a big game in the last 4 years, and most of their players are slow white guys.

And, the question now is...has Trent Edwards ever thrown for 300 yards in any game in his career in the NFL.

Nebraska is not a great team; however, the one guy that all the college experts has been talking about is a complete beast (Suh, #93). He is a defensive end that also occasionally lines up in the DT spot. This guy is a top 5 pick barring some injury, record, or work ethic issues. He was all over the place! The guy tracked a running back down a few yards after knocking the guy blocking him out of the way. I know we drafted Maybin with the first pick last year, but Maybin will never be a great player in this league. Suh will. He plays strong run and pass defense. This is the guy we should be drafting if we have a top 5 pick. Bank it. You heard it hear first.

I'm not from Buffalo nor have I ever visited. I hear talk show hosts talk incessantly about what an economically depressed city Buffalo is. I also hear it has no nightlife. Being a Bills fan from the West Coast, I always thought it was ESPN dudes ripping on small towns because ESPN and large sports networks are generally housed near larger cities like New York City and Boston. However, I'm calling out Bills Fans in Buffalo. Trashing a players lawn! Stealing 400K worth of jewelry from a player's house! And, now stealing the day after it is put up, a 8 ft statue made by a local resident of hall of famer, Thurman Thomas. Sorry local fans, but that's trash!!! If the Bills are ever going to receive any credibility, fans have a responsibility just as much as the Bills management and players have to making our team look good. For those that are Bills locals, please set an example. We are the worst football city in the United States, and its not just the team. And, this is saying a lot considering I live in Nevada! STEP IT UP BILLS FAN FROM BUFFALO!

Buffalo is one of worst five teams in the league. Their four losses illustrate a few valuable points. 1) can't put away a team in the last 5 minutes of a game with a double-digit lead. 2) lose by 20 to a great team and have no second half success 3) Get blown out by 28 against a bottom feeder team in the AFC 4) Lose to the Cleveland Browns, worst rush defense in the league and not score a TD. There are only 3 teams for sure worse than Buffalo in no particular order, Oakland, Tampa Bay and St. Louis; otherwise, Buffalo can join the conversation with teams like Kansas City, Cleveland, Carolina and the other bottom feeders. NAME 5 TEAMS WORSE THAN BUFFALO. I can see maybe 4, but not 5. Be sure to share why. Note: It's officially time to hit the "eject" button. Get rid of Jauron, management and half the team!

It's time to begin New Year's Resolutions that won't last and ask for unrealistic presents that come from Santa Claus. I know it's early, but I'll start. Dear Santa, Please let me hear words something like this in the next 6-7 months, "the Bills select, Colt McCoy, QB from the University of Texas." P.S. Here are a few stocking stuffers to consider. A new head coach, a real LT, a non-white TE, a #2 receiver, a #1 receiver that doesn't disappear in games, a center, not a backup from a non-playoff team, no drug, abuse, or weapon charges from any current players, a DE with speed, a middle linebacker that doesn't break arms, did I mention a new head coach? I'd also like a winning attitude, a GM who actually knows something about football, an owner under 100 years of age, and it would be helpful if the media members were not "homers" and actually reported the true state of the team. First play of the game. Buffalo is on defense. Ronnie Brown makes a run of 5 yards. Of course, since the Bills can't ever get any pressure on the quarterback, the tackle is made by Keith Ellison. Don't get too excited. There is a reason why Ellison is a top tackler in the league. Crappy teams usually have linebackers and safeties leading a team in tackles. This is because crappy defenses are reactive to what an offense does and not proactive. Miami gets a field goal on their first drive. Miami wins the game 20-17.

I'm right with you, Bullpen. I know saying that "T.O. acted like a class-act" may sound funny to us as a result of our view of him from previous actions and media portrayals, but T.O. acted with as much dignity and professionalism as possible could be done with a reporter seeking to tick him off. I applaud Terrell Owens for both his skills as well as his handling of a unbelievable rough situation. The truth is we have an undependable offense. We have a decent defense that just can't hang with top 10 teams in the 4th quarter. This has been proven by New England and New Orleans. The reason is simple. First, great coaching means great fourth quarter teams. Second, great conditioning leads to great fourth quarter teams. Third, teams with a winning tradition and mindset win in the fourth quarter. This is what separates average teams from outstanding teams. Buffalo is average because there is not great coaching, conditioning, or a winning culture/attitude infused in the locker room. That's why Buffalo loses. Fire Jauron!

DeAngelo Williams is not worth trading. However, if you could swing a 2 for 2 deal and get Edwards over Garrard and Owens over Holt, then you have a good deal.

Without an operational definition, it is hard to define the greatest team. If you are going for wins, then you are looking at the 1973 Dolphins and 2007 Patriots. If you are going for the team with the most talent, I think the 92 & 93 Cowboys need a serious look. Yes, these teams both beat us in the Super Bowl. They had a ridiculously good offensive and defensive line. They had a Hall of Fame QB, receiver, and running back. They had a stellar tight end and a top notch full back. Their second receiver, Alvin Harper, was a talented player. The 89 and 94 49er's also are deserving of a look as well as the 85 Bears.

No surprising cuts will be made until the coaches have narrowed it down to their top 60 players. If you are shaping the last few players to make the roster, what do you do? Answer whatever question(s) you like. 1. Do you keep Hamdan or offer him a Practice Squad position? 2. Assuming three tight ends are kept, who do you choose among Fine, Stupar, and DeVree? 3. Would you rather keep a serviceable FB in McIntyre or a young but unproved RB in Omon? 4. As of right now, who is more valuable to their team over the next two years, Hardy or Jenkins? 5. What will be of better help to the Bills Defense Line this year? a) Cut Kelsay b) reserve a spot to Bryan 6. Which player(s) gets left off the LB corps this year? Buggs? Thomas? Palmer? 7. If it came down to one roster spot available at corner, do you keep Florence or Youboty? 8. How many of the Bills current offensive lineman on their roster could start for a perennial playoff team such as the Steelers, Ravens, Colts, Patriots, Eagles, Vikings, and Giants? 9. Who gets the axe at safety? Wilson, Wendling, Simpson

I know we had Fred Jackson on the practice squad several years ago, so he has been a positive addition to the Bills roster. Have there been any other players in the last 10 years on the practice squad that have truly made a difference on our roster by becoming a solid backup or starter for our team? I only ask because I sometimes think it is amusing that we get excited and say "I hope we can get him on your practice squad." If you are on the practice squad, it basically means you are worse at blocking than Melvin Fowler or more injury prone than John McCargo. Granted, playing on the practice squad for an NFL team is better than 99.9% of us have ever done in our football careers, but a practice squad player is basically as talented as a 5th string waterboy in NFL level terms. With that in mind, which seven (7) players do you want on this year's practice squad? And, why?
