  1. I'm kind of sad that Shady's gone. Wish he could have restructured at the 4m mark and stayed, like the D. Thomas situation in NE. I'm hoping Gore has some fight left in him and Devin turns out better than expected. I'm 50/50 on Yeldon. If Shady tears it up in KC and we flop here, it's going to look like a really stupid move.
  2. He did mean "Mute." No one is allowed to speak about punters or Shady after today.
  3. Sure, but after week one or when someone's RB went down, the value would be there. What value does Croom have? KC was fast to pull the trigger on Shady. I'm sure we could have got something. And if we didn't who will contribute more to the team this year, Croom or Shady. Croom got smoked by two rooks and one is a 7th rd pick. He's 5th on a depth chart when we only need 4.
  4. My issue is that no one was going to scoop up Croom. He's expendable to everyone but Pegs daughter. We don't need 5 TE. Why not hold on to Shady and take calls for him. KC probably would have given us at least a 4th or 5th. We got a 5th for Teller. Fact is, Shady had some trade value and he's still getting up to 4m. That extra 2m isn't killing the cap. There's was no reason to let him go for nothing, when we got value from other guys we would have cut.
  5. I think so and hope so. Feliciano has played well. He and Long should get a nod well ahead of Teller or Better. We have the makings of a decent O-Line but we need Morse to stay healthy.
  6. I'm much much happier with Barkley. End of story.
  7. They're smoking something. Allen has just as good legs and throws a much better ball. Lamar can not see the field. He's a glorified RB. I personally think Josh will be better than Darnold and in a year or two be at or better than Mayfield. Physically he is more gifted, it's just a matter of getting to read defenses pre-snap and make quicker decisions. By next year Josh will have that down. I love his attitude and approach to the game.
  8. You'd seriously pick Rosen or Lamar over Josh. Glad we have the Beaner.
  9. Court Jetster. From the legend of Kiko to ? The Epitaph of Alonso Kiko Alonso August 14, 1990-September 8, 2019 Cause of Death: Stampede from Bills RB Headline: Ex Rugby Player Tramples Former Legend en route to End Zone.
  10. I personally would like to see Feliciano move to LG when Morse is healthy. He looks pretty tough. Dawkins/Feliciano/Morse/Ford/Nsehke
  11. Let the man enjoy his life. I hope I'm having that much fun at 78.
  12. Rex sucked. End of story. End of a horrible era. Thank God the line of below average crap coaches has come to an end. I'm with McD!!
  13. He was going to get cut. For him this is probably best case scenario. He gets some walking money.
  14. I liked the kid. I hope he gets a shot at his dream.
  15. On paper and in theory, it should be. Show me the money! I'm psyched to get this season started.
  16. THANKS! We appreciate it. Love the Astro tales.
  17. The top 5 I want in order is: Scoring Defense Turnovers Sacks Yards per game
  18. Me too. He solidified our line. The man could play. I feel sorry for him and his mental state. And Oakland is not the type of city for rehabbing these types of players. I still wish him the best.
  19. He's lucky it's just 2. He went off the deep end. Wondering how strong he comes back.
  20. Dolphins, seriously wtf. The only window open for them is the one leading to the basement of the AFC East. They will be lucky to win 6.
  21. The only way I see this happening is if DiMarco is cut and they ax the FB from this offense. It will be interesting to see what Wade does when the pads go on. Physically he is a beast. I can also see Yeldon catching on if Josh gets comfortable throwing to him out of the backfield and as a safety valve. Depending on how the TE's play out TJ has the opportunity to earn some field time with his pass catching ability. He's probably our best threat to catch the ball from the RB position and create yards to move the sticks. Especially if the pressure is on Josh and Daboll is coaching him up to pass first, then run only as necessary. I think there is a chance. All depends on how ST plays out and who Daboll feels can contribute most on game days.
  22. I'm with you on this. We will keep 5-6 WR. Brown, Beasley, Jones, Roberts and Foster should be locks, then it's all out war for the last spot. If someone really impresses then I could see Foster or Jones as the bubble spot. Personally, I think we all fall for one of the outcasts in the pre-season but like the Roosevelt's of the past nothing becomes of them after the final cut.
  23. Everything is relative to money. If Reed comes on a cheap deal, it is a no-brainer. It's 2 injury prone TE's who can produce. Fine, they don't have to be on the field at the same time. If they can be great, but it takes some of the stress off carrying the position. With Knox learning the ropes and showing progress, that makes a nice 3 man rotation. Then it's up to Croom, Smith, Sweeney and Towbridge to take the last roster spot. So it comes down to Reed vs one of the remaining TE's. We have the cap space for a team friendly 1-2yr deal. I'll take the gamble on Reed over one of the remaining TE's any day of the week. If for some reason one of the young kids shows promise, cutting Reed or Kroft or if they get hurt, it is not going to kill the cap.
  24. Pancho needs to go on the Wall of Fame at New Era! It's only fitting for the 12th man.
