  1. I found a few in the day time trying to set up their wooden cross. When I tried to talk to them they were startled and the cross fell on two of the guys crushing them to death. The third tried to fight me but he went down after only a couple punches.
  2. Everyone defending Sully and saying the Pegulas are trying to control the negative narrative might not have a clear idea about just how bad Sully has been during his time covering the Bills. There was a post on here a couple months ago that summed it up perfectly by describing a radio interview Sully did in which the host was asking him about the negative articles Sully kept writing about TO being a locker room cancer and what not. Despite the fact that there was no evidence that TO was doing anything other than trying to be a good teammate Sully just kept insisting he was a bad player and the Bills made a terrible move bringing him in no matter what kind of proof to the contrary the host kept offering. This is typical Sully over the years. Will just argue his negative take to his grave regardless of facts. It is definitely a valid argument that the dissenting voice should be given a chance to speak but Sully is so far beyond reason that it shouldn't surprise anyone that he isn't given team access anymore. Like someone else pointed out in this thread Sully is just that crusading negative Bills fan who can never stop posting pessimistic views on the boards so who can blame the Pegulas for putting him on their ignore list.
  3. Maybe it will be like the self check out lines where they have someone around the lockers that has to approve before the door will open on booze. In any case it seems like a good idea or at least a step in the right direction. Anything new is worth a try to avoid the long lines at a lot of events/venues these days.
  4. I wasn't able to hear the sound on that video.... Did they mention how the alcohol sales worked as far as showing ID?
  5. Ha, good point. Maybe some day they can put together a defying the odds super group with him and Keith Richards leading the way.
  6. I caught this show in Syracuse over labor day weekend. Ozzy doesn't have the endurance he used to which is no surprise seeing he is pushing 70 but I thought he was still able to hit most of the notes reasonably well. Zakk is always awesome. That version they played at the end of the show was actually with Kelly Osborne. They recorded that back during their MTV reality show days IIRC.
  7. The biggest change has to be Dennison for Daboll. As mentioned by several in the thread above Dennsion forcing the zone blocking scheme for the running game on personnel that didn't really fit it hurt the offense a lot last season. I heard Daboll the other day in an interview say that his offense is still a work in progress as he evaluates what type of players he has on the team. That would seem like a pretty obvious approach but based on some of the coaches we have had in the past who want to run their systems regardless of the team's skill sets the obvious approach isn't always the case. It is refreshing to at least hear a coach say his offense will be based on his personnel and change as need dictates. If Daboll stays true to his word that will go a long way towards the offense's possible success this season.
  8. Got to see this parked at the Fort Lauderdale airport back in February of 16 when I flew down for the start of the Book of Souls tour. It is pretty cool that IM can fit all their gear on this plane, all of their crew, and then have their lead singer pilot them to the next gig. I don't think Bieber is doing this on his tours. Still waiting for the American dates on the new tour to be announced, assuming there will be some.
  9. Alice in Chains are still very solid live. Their new singer sounds a lot like Staley and Cantell has still got it. Definitely check them out if you ever have a chance, I don't think you'll be disappointed. The new material is pretty good too.
  10. Thanks for the info. I'm not concerned with the idea of digital tickets. Have been using the ticketmaster app for concerts for a little while and it works fine. I have just been concerned about this season for the Bills because the OneBuffalo App that you evidently have to use for this is a POS.
  11. Hopefully it is better once they reconfigure the upper lot so there is a second exit but until then Lakeview definitely requires a strategy for parking. I haven't tried the VIP parking yet but I have some friends who do that each time. We usually park in the lower lot and take the shuttle up. Sometimes you have to wait a bit to get the shuttle after the show but driving out from down there is very easy. I heard that for this summer the lower lots won't be open for shows that are drawing smaller crowds so I will probably try the VIP parking in those cases. Canalside became a thing after I moved out of the Buffalo area so I don't have a lot of recent info for you. The few times I went down there though the parking didn't seem to be an issue at all seeing there is a ton around that area for the Sabres games and getting out of downtown usually isn't that hard as there are a couple paths you can take to get back to 90. (190 or 33). Hopefully someone who has frequented canalside more often can give you some more detailed advice.
  12. Tool is definitely an experience. I've seen them a few times but not in a while. Hopefully they tour the new album a bunch next year and I can catch them somewhere. So far what is planned for me this summer: Steely Dan / Doobie Brothers Weezer / Pixies Black Label Society / Corrosion of Conformity Slayer / Lamb of God / Anthrax / Testament / Napalm Death Live / Counting Crows (two separate free shows at NYS fair on the same day) Luke Bryan Ozzy / Stone Sour From this thread sounds like there will be a few of you at the same Lakeview versions of some of these shows. Great venue for any Buffalo people who haven't made the drive to Syracuse for it yet. Is that the Beth Hart show with Kenny Wayne Sheppard? That is going to be a great show.
  13. A picture is a good idea. I have been doing that with as well mobile airline ticketing to avoid any app problems at the last second. Mead & Jack, let us know how the request for paper tickets works out for you guys.
  14. I believe the cards are still in place. This only applies to transferring any of your season tickets and I assume individual game tickets going forward as well. Before if you wanted to give a ticket to a friend you could print them from your account, or lend them your card which I'm sure most people wouldn't really want to do. Now you can still lend them your card and if not then you have to transfer them from your account electronically to an email address that will be associated with an account on the OneBuffalo app which they would use to get into the game. Basically no more paper tickets at all. Sorry for the confusion.
  15. Has anyone tried transferring any of their individual season tickets to the OneBuffalo app yet? I split a ticket with my aunt so she uses the cards and I usually just print the tickets out from the account for my games but now that the Bills have gone full mobile I wanted to get a jump on trying out the app before the first preseason game. I downloaded it last night and the app for me is borderline unusable which fits with all of the negative reviews in the app store. I had to reinstall several times before I could even get it to bring me the log in screen. It also requires a lot of access to your phone to use which seems pretty odd to me.... why would a ticketing app require access to my photos and recording devices? I noticed that the OneBuffalo app also asks to link to your ticketmaster account so my hope is that when I finally attempt the transfer that the tickets will end up in my ticketmaster account as well so I could just use that app which actually functions like you'd expect. In any case I wanted to reach out to the community for their experiences before I actually try the transfer to hopefully avoid any pitfalls anyone else has experienced so far.
  16. 1. Sam Darnold - Browns 2. Josh Rosen - Bills 3. Josh Allen - Broncos 4. Baker Mayfield - Jets 5. Lamar Jackson - Dolphins Bonus: Bills Pick - Rosen
  17. I always thought the story was that TD wanted to trade up ahead of Pittsburgh to get Ben and was working with Jacksonville but when their pick came up the Jags decided not to budge because they were really high on some WR... Then as a consequence TD kind of panicked and traded back into round one for JP to check that QB box.
  18. Living in CNY I haven't had a chance to use either except a couple times visiting people out of town so I've never even used their apps. In anticipation of NYS finally catching up with the rest of the world I was looking to download the Uber app to my phone but hesitated when I saw how horrible the reviews were. Most people were complaining that Uber had recently changed its app so that you can't turn off location tracking where as it used to be you could set it to only track location when actually using the app. Evidently that is how Lyft does it. I will be curious to see if Lyft has as many drivers around the Syracuse and Buffalo area as Uber does because it seems like there has been nothing but negativity surrounding Uber for a while now and I would prefer to only use Lyft as well if possible.
  19. You have any advice? Something along the lines of "because I'm the man and you're the woman and I make the decisions regarding my life." doesn't work. Tried it once after it seemed to work so well for Matt Guitar Murphy on Aretha Franklin in the Blues Brothers but it didn't work out the same way for me, and not just because my wife didn't break out in song either.
  20. Picked up this Honda last year after surveying some people like you are: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Honda-21-in-3-in-1-Variable-Speed-Gas-Self-Propelled-Mower-with-Auto-Choke-HRR216K9VKA/203709643 Doesn't have the push button but my wife hasn't had any problems starting it, though to be fair she hasn't mowed much. Also like everyone else has mentioned Honda seems to be the way to go for mowers according to most.
  21. Media Play. Books/Movies/Music/Video Games.... Was the perfect one stop shop for everything I am into. Used to spend hours browsing around the one on Transit with my friends as a teenager.
  22. Having both preseason games on a week night versus a weekend afternoon is likely making it more difficult for them to market a traditional preseason kids day. I know a lot of people who always hit that game early just to give their kids a place to run around and burn energy.
  23. I had one bad experience there too. Had to wait an insanely long time for food which was exasperated by having a 2 year old and a 5 year old with us. However someone made note of our wait because shortly after our food came out the manager/owner came over with a few free desserts for us to make up for the wait. It definitely was a frustrating night but it was nice that they made an effort to try and make it right.
  24. Couldn't agree more. I live right around the corner from the Liverpool location. We go there all the time and it is usually the spot we bring out of town guests.
