Possibly, but that is a lot of confidence in the FO being able to find a handful of guys good enough to push him far enough down the roster to make that happen when their track record on acquiring WR talent lately has been pretty poor.
-
Being a second round pick I don't think he even has a 5th year option so the window on his development is closing fast. They probably just keep him through the 4 years for at least depth and then let him walk if he doesn't make a leap.

Maybe he wants to win with honor versus fighting like those dirtbag Cobra Kais. 😉

I didn't think we were there with the chip technology in the ball yet but looks like this is most likely the answer. AI Answer: Yes, NFL footballs are chipped; a small, coin-sized microchip has been inserted into them since 2017 as part of the NextGen Stats system. While this chip collects data on the ball's movement and other player metrics, it has a margin of error and is not currently used to make precise officiating calls like first downs, though the NFL continues to test and develop the technology for future use.

Where’s the juice at the position of Wide Receiver?

Bills asking fans to wear all white for the Pats game on Sunday
Metal Man replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was in the opposite corner from that video, 135, and I can say for sure that at least in that part of the stadium was standing and hyped for it. I don't know about the upper deck or the clubs but from my vantage point it seemed like the entire lower bowl was engaged in the song. -
For sure on preferring to give up yardage on the ground. I'm just saying these numbers always being thrown around don't typically tell the entire story, especially when just talking about yards. I recall a lot of discussion during some of the drought year teams where people would point to how good the run D is even though the D was giving up 300+ passing yards each game. Pretty sure no one was bothering to run when they could just throw it down the field on the Bills D all day. 🙂

Some of these kinds of stats can be a little misleading though. When you're one of the worst in the league in giving up rush yards it will affect how teams attack you. Then the question is are the Bills actually very good defending against the pass or are opposing teams just not bothering to pass as much against Buffalo because it is so easy to run on them?

Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
Metal Man replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is tough but I think it is better if the Ravens win. I'd really prefer them to be the 2 or 3 versus the potential of having to play them in the divisional round. -
Thanks, I had never heard that one before and it was driving me crazy trying to figure it out.

What was it that Pat asked him at 12:04 that he just ignored and smiled for a couple seconds? I played it back a couple times but just couldn't make it out.

I understand the betting smarts behind adding something like a Henry TD into a parlay for last Sundays game but man I always feel dirty needing certain opponents to do well. I hit a good one on the Vikings comeback game a couple years ago with one of the legs being a Dalvin Cook TD. When he broke off that 80+ yarder I was pumped as the game seemed well in hand for the Bills at the time. In retrospect though, after the epic collapse, I always hated myself for that moment of joy when Cook broke away for that score so I just can't do it anymore.

Sure, but coming from someone outside of WNY mid tier wings are still much better than most places in the rest of the country. Even as close as I am to Buffalo in Syracuse I would love for some places around here to have wings that were "mid-tier". 😉
-
Surprised no one has mentioned Pearl Street Brewery as far as downtown places to go for good food/wings. Definitely walkable from the Curtis if the weather is nice, maybe .5 mile. https://pearlstreetgrill.com/ Lucky Day is a great call too. Basically right across the street from Curtis.

Did anyone see if the fan was actually removed from the game by security afterwards?

I enjoyed the season. Like some others have said I was also happy for the level of boring stuff as that meant no drama. A little bit of an inside look at the way the team operates and a good amount of player personality fluff, basically a much better produced version of Embedded.

You will only get the Bills games that are on Sundays in the 1 or 4 time slots. Sunday night football, monday night football, thursday night football, and any of the exclusive games the NFL sells to other streaming apps aren't included with the sunday ticket package. -

Metal Man replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know for me personally if the Sunday ticket actually did give me access to every game then it would be well worth the top end price point just for the ease of access and having everything in one spot for one price. And I do currently subscribe, albeit using my wife's educator discount, but even at the lower price I question if it is worth it when I only get the 1 and 4 Sunday games excluding the locally broadcast. The NFL is making it a PITA to view their product so I understand why even fans who can afford it, like Lebron certainly can, still go to these sites. There really is something to be said for the ease of access argument. -

This old oatmeal comic nails the piracy issue for a lot of people's experiences with content in the digital world. https://theoatmeal.com/comics/game_of_thrones -

The mistake many make in these piracy debates is counting the pirated content as lost revenue. If piracy ceased to exist 100% of those who pirated would not instantly start paying for the content. -

Really enjoyed the Billy Joel doc on HBO Max. Lots of ups and downs in his life that I really didn't know anything about. -
Can't have a great drummer thread without including Danny Carey. His ability with odd time signatures and polyrhythms is masterful.

Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?
Metal Man replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never. Grandma took me to a Bills game as a kid in the mid 80s and I don't think I have missed watching a game since. Like someone mentioned before up thread, Sundays being reserved for the Bills was always something that was brought up early in any of my relationships and something my wife has now embraced. Sabres on the other hand.... 🤢
