  1. Second the hike up Diamond Head. Wasn't a very intense climb and had some cool views. I also really enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center. https://www.polynesia.com/ It is on the opposite side of the island from Honolulu but if you have a car it isn't a long drive and there is some nice rural scenery along the way. Also they do a big authentic LuAu in the evening so you can knock that off the list as well while there.
  2. I thought the same thing when they first opened the place in Syracuse Jack is talking about until I gave it a try. They used to have full service waiters bringing people stuff whenever they wanted but surprisingly it wasn't very distracting at all. Much less of an annoyance than the person a couple rows in front of you who is shining that bright screen for the rest of the theater while on their phone the entire film. 😡
  3. Do they deliver alcohol? I know back in the pre covid time when they actually had servers they would but I thought that alcohol drinks had to be purchased at the bar versus on the app.
  4. I would say this is just the norm these days in a public digital forum. I think if you were to survey all Bills fans you'd find that the majority are typically optimistic about the Bills most of the time. You would pretty much have to have that general attitude about them to remain a fan through all the heartbreaks over the years. Just like social media, along with product/entertainment reviews, the negative voices are always the loudest.
  5. Won't be missing these guys in a couple of weeks. Best AC/DC rip-off band in the Northern Hemisphere. 😈 Perfect Saturday night entertainment leading up to the home opener Sunday.
  6. I'm the exact same level of excited that I have been in late August every year for the past 35+ years I have been closely following the Bills. Rosters that looked good in preseason or rosters that looked rough really doesn't matter because you never know how it is going to all play out. That is exactly what makes the NFL exciting and worth watching in the first place.
  7. I did look through this entire thread but maybe I missed the post about Beane or someone else in the front office saying that they did NOT have any interest in bringing MA back when he was cleared and that they definitely did NOT give his agent a call. With that in mind it seems to me we really have no idea if the Bills passed on bringing MA back just like we have no idea if they would have taken Worthy at the traded pick to KC. Sooooo.... much ado about nothing?
  8. Agree with those thinking that this being at the stadium wouldn't make a lot of sense. It needs to be within walking distance of a lot of other things to do. Doesn't seem like there are a lot of people just sitting in the "theater" watching all the picks on day 2 and day 3. That needs to be the type of thing people can wander in and out of. A stage somewhere around Canalside seems like the best bet for a successful event.
  9. That might be a cool way to do it. Like MLB used to be, only way to play a team in the other conference/league is the championship game. I'm pretty sure they will just add another out of conference game based on standings like they do with game 17 now. It will just even it out to a home/away every season instead of rotating that each year.
  10. The main argument against this seems to be more games will lead to more injuries and that makes some basic logical sense. However is there any data that shows there are a lot more injuries, serious and/or minor, in late season games or the playoffs than there are earlier in the season? Seems to me, based solely off of observation watching the league for ~40 years, that the amount of injuries across the league over the course of the season is pretty static week to week. Again maybe there is data to contradict this but it also makes some basic logical sense that your risk of injury is the same any single time you step on the field whether it be in September or January.
  11. So many to choose from over the years but the one that always comes to mind is the home opener against the Pats*** in 2003. Being aware of how that season ended up going, and definitely how it ended, makes the game a lot less meaningful. However being in that stadium experiencing it as it happened in the moment was something I will never forget. Crowd was crazy to start and got more insane as the game went on. It also was extremely enjoyable seeing the busload of Pats*** fans in the section next to us getting up at the end of the third and start heading towards the exits as the Bills fans chanted the "Nah, Nah, Goodbye" song.
  12. There are many different hypothesis attempting to explain the Fermi paradox. The civilizations always destroy themselves before discovering interstellar travel is just one of them. I personally lean towards the idea that space is just too large for life to easily find other life, and that is assuming that an alien life form even exists in a form that is perceptible to a human being's senses. I think of it like traversing a long highway through an extremely large forest, in that scenario how likely would it be for you to be able find a small anthill by stopping at any random point and wandering out into the woods?
  13. I could see maybe some bottom of the roster pieces being traded for day 3 picks if they were unlikely to make the 53 anyway. As far as bringing in players for the 53, I wouldn't expect it unless we have some significant camp injuries.
  14. Can we at least all agree that Florida pizza is among the worst?
  15. We host my in-laws for Thanksgiving weekend, all from Baltimore and all Ravens fans. This would make for an eventful Friday evening with one group or another being disappointed/angry.
  16. This schedule makes it look the the Wednesday Xmas game would be the last game of that NFL week. I thought some articles about this implied that it would actually be the first game of the NFL week leading up to the weekend slate.
  17. If we define drought era players to be someone who played the majority of their Bills career between 2001 - 2016 then it would be Stevie Johnson and Fred Jackson for me. Would love to see how those guys in their prime operated in an offense run through Josh Allen.
  18. Lots of good ones in here already. The ones I always seemed to play each visit to the arcade: Paperboy Spy Hunter Star Wars (sit down) Gauntlet
  19. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State - LA Chargers Rome Odunze, Washington - Arizona Cardinals Ladd McConkey, Georgia - San Francisco 49ers Brian Thomas Jr., LSU - Indianapolis Colts Xavier Worthy Texas- KC Chiefs Bonus Bills pick - Troy Franklin
  20. Have pretty much the same story bringing me into AEW as you. A few of the big names on your list are currently our and injured, (Omega, MJF, Cole), which is really hurting them at the moment but even so the roster is still pretty remarkable. They just have really been struggling in the story department lately. Hopefully they can turn it around soon. WWE is really hot right now and it would be great for everyone to have some competition like the old "Monday Night Wars" days. I am interested in checking out this past mania even though I haven't watched WWE in a while. From the sounds of it the show was pretty good.
  21. That KC would host on TNF makes sense as it is usually the case, but this article makes it sound like it is the NFL Season opener which is confusing: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/soccer/nfl-season-opener-and-playoff-game-won-t-be-shown-live-on-national-tv/ar-BB1kzPmH?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=a46d88c562ee48a5b5c17e376e48a1f4&ei=19
  22. So this article mentions how this will be the first Friday season opener since 1970. If this article is accurate then it sounds safe to assume that there will be no traditional TNF game at home for the Superbowl champ to start the year. I wonder if this is the start of a new international game season kickoff? Or maybe they just need to wait and see what Taylor wants. 😁😈
  23. It is on Xbox Gamepass right now as well. No cross platform yet. The downside of xbox though is no dedicated servers so if you want to work cooperatively on a world whomever is hosting will have to be online for you to play in it.
  24. Anyone jumped into Palworld yet? I have lot of hours into it over the last few weeks. It lives up to the hype.
