  1. agree with this. Allen would have stunk last night. Not that Anderson was great, but Anderson had fantastic ball placement into traffic for most of the game. The WR's get zero separation on this team. An improved OL and WR corp will help whoever is the QB, Allen or whomever. that involves brining in an OC who uses modern concepts. But I agree, that is a good template to work from.
  2. he continued to run plays involving Shady going up the middle, then bouncing to the outside. That does not work. Finally he realized 'perhaps I should run Ivory up the middle.' He has enough talent to get a freaking TD. His play calling was so obvious that Whitten called it from the press box prior to the play.
  3. If you have to get a "bargain" player, better to go w/ someone you are familiar with. And the Bills have brought in plenty of non-Carolina FA's: Hyde, Poyer, Trent Williams, Bojorquez (punter), CB Ryan Lewis, Orchard, Jon Ryan, Keenan Robinson (LB), etc.
  4. trade Benjamin and Clay. if you trade KB, I want a 3rd. If you throw in Clay, I'd take a 5th for both just to clear Clay's salary and free it up for FA next year. Or perhaps Arizona would take both for Peterson
  5. more sold on McBean than McDermitt. MCD needs to get a real OC, and fast.
  6. Rosen has a ton of talent, and I don't get the drooling over him. He has Kirk and Fitzgerald at WR, and D. Johnson at RB. Rosen's issue is play calling perhaps, but he has talent. Exactly. Sammy Watkins is the #3-4 receiving target on that team. Think about that!
  7. yeah, what do you think Monday morning is for. ??
  8. And there is zero need for coaches to do this. I believe this is a rumor perpetuated by coaches who want to show how "hard working" they are. Work smarter, not harder.
  9. You go BPA. Talent wins the games. I think top OL talent will be available in the early second round. WR likely still around in the 3rd. if picking #1, either getting a QB or trading down has to be a consideration. Not sure who that QB is, however.
  10. Punter. He's a younger Hispanic.
  11. taking Clay should be a requirement for any team taking KB and/or McCoy! Getting Kevin White would be a nice addition. agree. Get something for KB, let the younger WR's play. And get rid of Clay's cap. Replace him with Croom (who is better, IMO).
  12. In the offseason, we should be very aggressive in going after TB. We don't know what we have in Allen, and we don't have the ability to get another rookie given our other holes in the roster and the need for a vet in the room. Ideal QB room next year: TB can start, and Allen can push him. 3rd QB, if needed, can be an UDFA or another vet (Matt Moore, Landry Jones) who is easily available. Thoughts? And if we draft a QB, who do you suggest? I'd go: DL (assuming top 5 pick); OL; WR; etc.
  13. yeah, I figured White would shut him down like Hopkins.
  14. I think Ref's don't call penalties on our D. Holding, etc.
  15. was wondering where it went. shouldn't have benched Hilton in fantasy!
  16. wow. WR's only catching 75% of catch-able passes this year.
  17. Anderson and some actual WR's could be good. SWeet pass to Zay
  18. So your initial response that trading KB and Clay would "extend the rebuild by 10 years," has been abandoned? Good. Anderson looks interested. Ivory looks interested. THe O-line may be interested, they just have a talent defecit. I think the D is interested, just old and worn out from being on the field all game.
  19. well, I'm blaming you. Watch the game. No mowing your lawn during the 2nd half!
  20. First, your initial response stated that trading KB and Clay, "would extend the rebuild by 10 years." Still waiting a justification to that ridiculous/snarky response. Now that you've shifted your justification, Are you watching? Clay is expensive, a loafer, and getting rid of him opens valuable cap space. KB loafing around leads to an INT. Neither are interested. Trade them. Use whatever low pick you get for a defensive player.
  21. A bllls QB would throw a TD pass, perhaps not to the Bills, but still....;)
  22. I didn't say trade a contributor. Please explain how getting rid of KB and Clay--who add ZERO, would lengthen this rebuild??
  23. also no clue why Steelers let Mitchell go. He's a baller. Bills should have picked him up.
  24. great job by KB going for the ball. Not. Trade him and Clay to Dallas. Shed Clay's contract and lazy-ass KB.
