  1. Today's edition. No WRs (not intentional, but never BPA). 27. Darnell Wright OT Tennessee 59. Drew Sanders LB Arkansas 91. Joe Tippmann OC Wisconsin 130. Jammie Robinson S Florida State 137. Andrew Vorhees OG USC 205. DeWayne McBride RB UAB
  2. then what is your theory? people don’t always act with common sense.
  3. please move to the awful mock drafts thread as well! No day 1 help for the offense—total joke.
  4. Here is Pro Football Network today. One of my favorites so far. Get a day 1 starter at RT, another OT, and a C/G. This provides depth this year, and a consistent core for the next 4 years or so. Mingo is going to be a stud at WR, and Robinson and McBride have both been in Brooks' top 5 in their respective positions during his first 2 rankings. McBride led college in yards after contact. This draft also assumes LB Jack or someone else at LB in FA. 27. Darnell Wright OT Tennessee 59. Joe Tippmann OC Wisconsin 91. Matthew Bergeron OT Syracuse 130. Jonathan Mingo WR Ole Miss 137. Jammie Robinson S Florida State 205. DeWayne McBride RB UAB Love the unrealistic one! 4 potential day 1 starters. The I like, Van Ness, and I could be wrong, seems to not have the production in college that lives up to his ability. Am I wrong here? Sanders also worries me a bit as a tweener who has not played a consistent on-ball, off-ball LB enough. Flip side: great versatility. Love 91-105 picks, steals.
  5. yikes. Prayers for you and hope there are better treatments for emphysema before it progresses too much.
  6. True we generally do mot have a glaring need. But in 2021 we went into a draft needing a DE. Got 2. Minimal return and passed on an all pro center. that would be another pick on LB after blowing an early one last year. Bean is awful at drafting.
  7. thanks for doing this again!
  8. this is hilarious when they say this. How about getting him a good OL and/or establishing the threat of a run game.
  9. Flowers will be a stud. Campbell and Sanders also. That said I’d take OT Wright over either. LB in Rd. 2 or 3.
  10. Here is one today from Pro Football Network: 27. Bryan Bresee DT Clemson 59. Joe Tippmann OC Wisconsin 91. Tyler Scott WR Cincinnati 130. Bryce Ford-Wheaton WR West Virginia 137. Jammie Robinson S Florida State 205. DeWayne McBride RB UAB Here is PFF: (what, behind a paywall now!) Here is Fanspeak, seems um, unrealistic: 27: R1 P27 RB Bijan Robinson - Texas 59: R2 P28 OT Darnell Wright - Tennessee 91: R3 P28 S Jammie Robinson - Florida State 130: R4 P28 C John Michael Schmitz - Minnesota 137: R5 P2 S Sydney Brown - Illinois 205: R6 P28 WR Bryce Ford-Wheaton - West Virginia
  11. What do you think of Darnell Wright from Tenn at 27? Or would you go WR or someone like Tippman?
  12. Sydney Brown in 2nd or Hickman in 3/4 seem to be the best options, assuming we go offense in 1st and or second. Some good depth here for the draft.
  13. none is not an option??!! Bean, is that you??!!
  14. we seem to be missing Alvia (TCU) and Patterson (ND) as options. Would be happy with Alvia in the 2nd, Patterson in the 2/3rd. Really want Tippman from Wisconsin.
  15. all my opinions are popular around here ok, unpopular one: McD is a MUCH better DC than HC. He should be our DC and we should get someone to be the HC. The D will be better this year if he calls plays, but we have no one to keep a real eye on the offense, and the offense is totally unbalanced (see Bean's comments about the surprise in how little Hines was used).
  16. Here is Brooks top 5 by position: https://www.nfl.com/news/bucky-brooks-top-five-2023-nfl-draft-prospects-by-position-2-0-qb-hooker-above-r I voted for OT Wright, who he describes as follows: "At 6-5 and 333 pounds, Wright is a big edge blocker with heavy hands and a nasty temperament. The Tennessee product mauls opponents at the point of attack while flashing enough balance and body control to be effective as a road grader or pass protector on the quarterback's front side."
  17. would rather have OT at 27. I get going for an Edge, but it does not seem that any Edge at 27 will be an impact guy this year. you have it set on easy? That’s a great one.
  18. well, the highlights do show great hands. And that is something independent of competition level. Also looks big. Don't know if he can block, but looks like another potential red zone or 3rd and short guy at the very least.
  19. Reuter had Zay going in the 2nd round, which I don't think happens. I'd love him at 27 if the top OTs and some other WRs are gone, and if we don't take him, Cincy, KC, Philly, or NE will. Although I wouldn't trade Davis. Rookie contract and a decent #3. Unless he was part of a trade to Arizona for Hopkins.
  20. just awful. Esp. passing on Kincade, and Kancey (if you want to go DL).
  21. here is mine today. Also, what happened to our 7th rounder? this was a draft I would have loved to trade back in. Some good DT, and CBs there at 27, but all top WRs and OTs gone.
  22. With mock draft season in full swing, what are the worst mock drafts you have seen for the Bills. I'll start: https://www.nfl.com/news/four-round-2023-nfl-mock-draft-1-0-qbs-go-1-2-3-after-colts-trade-up Chad Reuter just posted his 4 round mock on NFL.com. It has the Bills TRADING UP to 20 and losing its 3rd round pick for........Pitt DT Calijah Kancey. Still available at #20: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who goes next to the Chargers, Hyatt, who goes following that to KC, Trenton Simpson (MLB) to NJG, Dalton Kincaid to Dallas, and OT Darnell Wright to Cincy. If we traded up for any of these guys I could live with that, but for a DT....NO! But the carnage is not yet over, in the 2nd round Reuter picks: Drew Sanders, LB Arkansas. Look, I like this pick, but not if round 1 is DT. Picked 2 picks later is Jack Campbell, and about 5 picks later centers Luke Wypler and then Steve Avila in the early 3rd. Our 3rd round pick becomes Seattle's, and they take AL LB Henry To'oTo'o. In the 4th we take Tenn-Chattanooga- OG McClendon Curtis. (who?!?!) Taken several picks later are both Oklahoma RB Eric Gray (to Cincy) and Wake Forrest WR A.T. Perry, to NE. YIKES!!
  23. I’d be okay with Flowers in Round 1. I think he had No. 1 receiver potential, even at 5’10”.
  24. by "go after" do you mean pick at 27, or trade up? I'm fine at 27, would not trade up for them, because the cost is likely another pick that could be an OC, and an OT at 27.
