  1. Grade A Jackass....i like that
  2. Some players don't start but play more snaps than the guy who actually starts the game.
  3. Yes, that was pretty bad. Classless
  4. No, he's there, and he looks like a top 3 safety
  5. Any more confessions to make before we move on?
  6. When did this turn into "defend the pats" post? LOL
  7. He certainly can't sit home and wait to show up. He would be fired. He has to bend over and take it or go look for a new job. New jobs are not knocking at his door. Byrd is in a much better situation than the guy in your illustration. If my contract runs out at work, they dont tag me and pay me the average of the top paid people in my field.
  8. Last time I checked , this was a message board. People have the right to say what they want. You can be as positive as you like and they can be as negative as they want to be. I would say don't take it so personally. It's only a message board.
  9. It'll be interesting to see what his former agent has to say. As far as shouldn't he as a professional attend voluntary workouts? The workouts are voluntary, and the players association negotiated them as such. Some players like to work out where they live because of family and/or personal issues going on. While I agree with the concept that it's a good idea to be around the coaches and your teammates, not all can do it.
  10. I wish the owner of the byrd thread would close it..although I just posted there
  11. OK all that being said, What happens now? Do the Bill agree to a deal to get him into camp that guarantees no tag next year or do they play hard ball and use the tag again next year? Or do they trade him? On a side note, I kinda hate Eugene Parker, Mr "fair negotiator"
  12. The Hall of fame will take Belecheat on the first try because they want that whole cheating scandal to be gone and forgotten. They basically covered it up. They did what they had to with the fines and the taking of draft picks but in essence they swept it under the rug by mimimizing the impact of the cheating. They burned the tapes. How many superbowls has this cheater won since he was caught? Even people on this board minimize the cheating. They claim that "they all do it". Do They all do it? I didn't see anyone else scarfing over a number one draft pick. By the way it was very convenient that they has 2 number one picks that year. Made it easy on the league and the Patriots. I don't know what can hurt the integrity of the game more than cheating. In my opinion, he should have been tossed out of the league
  13. I find it hard to believe that Bobby Chandler is not up on that wall. One if the greatest recievers in Bills history and a class act. RIP
  14. I do see the distinction, my point was understanding why he might be miserable. I don't believe I said that player moves were made solely to boost optimism. I stated that player moves boosted optimism, which they do. I certainly hope the intention is to make the team better. Unfortunately that has not always been the case. One could argue that the Owens signing was done to sell tickets and create a buzz. **** RACK EM !!! ***
  15. so it goes when you're mired in irrelevance
  16. Ed Reed played a defining role in Baltimore for years, Hard hitting, play making leader. Byrd is not in that class right now. Heck, even Reed is no longer in that class.
  17. Well, I don't know about "crap like this" but you have to admit the optimism is built uip in Bills fans by various marketing gimmicks and player moves during the offseasons, then the wheels come off and all hope is lost. It's been a tough 13 years.I can understand someone becoming a "miserable douche" with this franchise. Although, I see no need for calling someone a douche.
  18. He died young. I wonder if his heart attack was related to the use of PEDs. Not sure, but i believe his 3 touchdowns in one year is a record for offensive linemen.
  19. Just more hopes and promises.................and a barf bag, just in case
  20. Who's the bigger scumbag, Braun or Armstrong?
  21. Maybe he should go out and buy one of those shirts for all the new young recievers the Bills brought in. You know, be a mentor.
  22. The logical explanation for letting Levitre walk is that they didn't feel 8 million dollars a year was worth the price to pay a guard, especially since they tied so much money up in Mario Willaims and then have to worry about signing Wood and Spiller. Not to mention the situation with Byrd. I'm sure they would have loved to keep Levitre, but I'm guessing after intitail talks with his agent , they could see right away that his asking price was too high. And seriously, can a team build a winner paying their guards 8 million dollars a year?
  23. Nothing personal, but you are ranting....lol
