  1. Totally agree. Did she die? NO......anyone who has grown up in Buffalo knows what it's like to hit someone after drinking a few beers. Why is Lynch being singled out?
  2. Is Spiller probaby out?
  3. Awesome Post by the OP....this team has potential
  4. I noticed the empty seats also. Miami doesn't seem to be an NFL town
  5. He does have one helluva man-crush on Brady..lol..why is it always "Tom" and not Brady? Does he refer to the other playes by their first names?
  6. That wasn't a fluke. It was a great play by Mario Williams. A fluke would be if Tanehill dropped the ball for no reason or they snapped the ball over the punters head. A great defensive play is no fluke...geeeash
  7. Then if Polian was so geat, why didn't he fire Marv and hire a better head coach with all that talent?
  8. His argumant is about the Pats team, not about Brady getting the roughing calls........“You’re going to see a lot of stuff, man, that the Patriots can do to you, that they get away with, that we can’t do to the Patriots. It’s just the way it is.” and I think he's right...watch the Bills season opener and watch their line get away with holding
  9. If they do that, The Bills wouldn't be sufficiently screwed. The Refs would have to cheat a little more to make up for the deficit.
  10. Lock him in and throw away the key
  11. haikus do suck haikus really suck haikus suck bad
  12. Defenses are ranked by yardage allowed. A more accurate way, I think, to rank a defense is to divide the number of yards allowed by the number of plays the opponent had. The Bills hurry up scheme can skew the yardage since the Bills' defense could be forced to play more. Third down stop percentage is another important indicator.
  13. You're right, it doesn't feel the same. The losing still hurts but I feel the Bills can compete with just about anyone. That feeling was not there in past years. They have been in every game so far.
  14. If the Bills actually finished 8-8 or 9-7 they wouild be headed in the right direction, not screwing themselves. I think many Buffalo fans have gotten to the point where the draft position is all they think about. They most likely have to go 8-8 before they go 11-5. We knew they wouldn't be a playoff team this year. And we all know that drafting position doesn't guarantee a great pick. Great picks can be had at position 18-25 also. With this being said, I don't see the Bills as an 8-8 team this year.
  15. This thread shows how a good argument can be made for either a positive or a negative view of the direction and decision making of this organization. I think we need to let this year play out and actually see how the off season is handled and then see the results next year to know for sure if the culture is changing here and if the right coaches were hired and if the right player moves are being made. I'm hoping for the best but I fear the worst.
  16. What about the Cleveland player who celebrated the injury?
  17. Cleveland has some classless jerks on that team
  18. I think Hackett has improved. In the Cleveland game, we saw some draws and some reverses that worked so he called them at the right times. We can only hope that Hackett continues to learn and improve. I am optimistic that he will because he seems like an intelligent person.
  19. Tim Russert was a Bills fan through and through. He's gone way too soon. His Son is doing him proud.
  20. I am pretty sure that post was tongue in cheek
  21. I have to laugh at people annointing Gino Smith after 5 games. How quickly people forget what happened with Trent Edwards.
  22. You might be right. In the patriots game, Gino had numerous chances to win that game but threw 3 horrible picks. EJ wins that game.
  23. Agreed....doesn't inspire confidence in the people making the football decisions at One Bills Drive
  24. Almost every game there are pass interference calls and illegal contact calls and non calls that might be called in one game but the very same play would not be called in another. Even in the same game, refs make calls and then ignore seemingly the same penalty later in the game. Refs are human being and make mistakes. Some refs are clearly better than others and hopefuly the league grades these guys and replaces the bad ones. In all reality, a team needs to beat their opponent bad enough so that the bad calls can be overcome. Look at the Bills/Pariots, week one. The Bills were called for holding several times but the Patriots got away with holding at times when I believe the replay showed them holding.I believe certain teams get the benefit of the doubt over others in the minds of some refs. Again, human nature. Is it right? Of course not, but this is the way it is.
