Joe B (The Athletic) on passing game problems (with data)

Because that's the way it is. If You're in charge, you get the credit and you get the blame. I'm sure they would agree. It's not fair, but that's life. Also, what targets did Josh miss? -

C'mon, Coleman is not good. That's obvious to everyone. Look at McConkey and Shakir's production, albeit inside. I'd rather have 2 slot guys who are really good than a wideout who is slow and cannot separate. Maybe Joe Brady isn't scheming guys open like other offensive coordinators, I don't know. -

You make a great point, which is why it would be so hard to shake things up. But we need to ask ourselves an honest question. Can we win a Super Bowl under Beane/McDermott? This is certainly better than years of a playoff drought but I'd like to win just one. -

OMG, you're stubborn, SO WHAT!!! You missed the entire point of my post!!! Beane is the GM!!! He's responsible!!! Let's fire Allen as our GM 😂 -

Let me say it clearly. I'd rather have Shakir on the outside, or McConkey, and the other guy inside. Either way, it's better than Coleman. -

New England and Atlanta showed how it was flawed, maybe not broken. -

Allen doesn't scout receivers in his spare time, as best as I can discern. Good GMs don't let a quarterback make picks for them. Brady might have done all that after winning Super Bowls. I guarantee he wasn't so involved while In Josh's position. Maybe we should blame Josh for the Elam pick? To be honest, Josh seems like a humble guy, who doesn't overstep his bounds. I doubt Josh was asked about drafting Worthy or trading the pick. -

Who would you rather have right now, Coleman or McConkey? But I get your point. Another reach, just like Elam then😒 -

Who's the GM , Allen or Beane? Beane decided to pick Coleman over McConkey. Are you saying Beane picked a guy, knowing a better option was there just to appease Allen? I don't buy it. No, Allen doesn't have to say, "I wanted you", but "let's work hard" doesn't inspire confidence. But this being said, you've missed the point of my post. -

Of course he's going to say that after they drafted him. What's he going to say, I REALLY wanted McConkey? -

I've said this for a few years now. The Bill's management (Beane) is WASTING one of the all time great talents this league has ever seen. GET THE GUY SOME FREAKING WEAPONS!!!! When Beane passed on McConkey , I almost blew a gasket!!!! In their ultimate wisdom, they decided that a slow, jump ball guy(and apparently immature) is a better fit. How much money has Beane poured into a D-line that has been mediocre? The Bills have the worst wideouts in the league by far. This is such poor management of this great quarterback!!! McDermott shares some responsibility for this too, I suspect, since he basically hired Beane. I could get into hiring Joe Brady over a guy like McDaniels, but that's a whole other story. 😒 -
Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good

So why do they continue to stick with Gabriel? They have Sanders, but seem dead set on NOT giving him a chance. -
Titans Trade Roger McCreary to Rams

I think we need more help at receiver and D line right now -
How about a rule preventing the refs from calling phantom holding calls on the Bills in the Patriots game?

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?

The only move the Bills will make is to promote Gabe Davis from the practice squad, sadly. -
Bills are Super Bowl Favorites

I saw the ESPN power ranking and I wondered if they had watched their own telecast. We could have had McConkey but decided a slow, jump ball guy would be a better fit. -
How much money and draft capital will Beane pour into a defense that stinks? Put some money into receiving talent for our MVP quarterback!!! They have wasted him!!!

I feel that we are going to have to endure quite a few more losses. New England will win the division. It's hard not to think this particular crew has some kind of grudge against the Bills. -
Some changes you would like to see this week
first_and_ten replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lack of receiver ability to separate and go deep was bound to catch up with them. Coleman might be a bust. I was yelling at my TV at draft time to pick McConkey. We hand KC an offensive weapon and we take a slow, jump ball guy. Beane BLEW it!!!! -
The drive in the 1st quarter, when they pitched it to Cooke, who had a nice gain, we were close to the red zone. Whoops, a hold on McGovern. They showed the replay and that idiot Collingsworth says, you put a hand on him, they call it every time. What??? Every play a hand is placed on a defensive player!! The replay clearly showed it was NOT a hold. They didn't have the courage to call it out. It seems this crew is there to defend all the calls. Awful!!

Ridiculous stat that sums up the secondary play
