  1. What would you suppose they do then? Throw a kid in who's not ready? Maybe make a trade? There isn't any answers left in free agency. The fact that it's a do or die season for Rex may end up being the very reason Sanchez starts. He might actually be the best option for that team.
  2. I always felt that the offensive linemen should have been allowed to head slap the defensive players. After all, it would only be fair.
  3. What about Wes Welker at 29...that kind of makes that list a joke
  4. Bad defense and some inopportune turnovers. Turnover ratio was one of the worst in the league.
  5. The reality is Mario wil be considered a dud unless he is a beast. Good doesn't cut it when you're making 18 million dollars a year.
  6. For what it's worth , the NFLPA cap report still show the Bills at $11,577,240.00 in cap space
  7. Parker seems to do his homework on a player and comes to an estimation of what he then feels the market value of that player is. He doesn't seem to be one to move off that number. If the Bills agreed with his assessment, don't you think he would have been signed by now? It's possible they are waiting to clear cap room, and then will sign him, but It doesn't look good to me. If Parker isn't one to budge, then either the Bills decide to pay him what Parker decided his value is or they will try to move him. The Bils may even agree that Byrd is worth what Parker feels he's worth but are not willing to pay that much for whatever reason. Maybe they feel they have to choose between Byrd and some of the upcoming contracts that will be expiring next year. Whatever the case may be, it seems pretty clear that Parker won't budge. I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look promising to me.
  8. Look, they leaked this supposed draft board because JJ needs to have his ego boosted and be seen as a great draft guru. It's probably not even their real board. Why does this happen only to the Cowboys? This is a ploy. Personally I hope JJ keeps running the draft for them.
  9. I couldn't hear him. What did he say?
  10. I knew I shouldn't have entered this topic
  11. They should be forced to watch Bills games from the last 13 years
  12. Good luck getting the Eagles to re-negotiate coming off of that injury. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. http://articles.philly.com/2012-05-16/news/31727721_1_jason-peters-eagles-and-ravens-injury
  13. From your link it does appear the cap space is created on June 1. That would be very good for the Bills
  14. Well, bookmark the link I posted. The NFLPA puts out the cap space for each team 4 times each day. We shall see if it goes up on June 1
  15. I'm thinking they already gained the salary cap space when they designated Fitz as a june 1st release. I don't think the actual date had to arrive to get that cap room. This report is generated 4 times per day... http://www.nflplayers.com/reports/RunPublicReport.aspx?report=top51
  16. I'm 9,10, and 11 mostly....my wife can be a 14 with the 'its only a game" or "they gave it a good try" speech which I cannot take at that moment in time. Although I know she really doesn't care that much she does pretend to care for my sake.
  17. Unfortunately if and when Pettine succeeds here in Buffalo, he will be a head coach somewhere else very soon afterwards.
  18. I'm just glad you weren't trying to be a downer.
  19. Good thing for Crabtree that he signed a 6 year deal. This gives him a year to prove he can come back and play for the second contract. It's a very difficult injury to come back from and be the same player you were before. This brings Seattle closer to the 49ers. Tough break for him and the team
  20. I recall Sanchez throwing 5 picks against the Bills a while back
  21. His point is they would rather make the work load harder on the workers so that they can increase their bonuses. The average CEO now makes 350 times what the average worker makes. Do You think they would cut their own salary to make budget? No way. They would rather make it more difficult on the workers who are left. What may well happen is that the quality of the programming may suffer and ultimately lead to the need for more layoffs to meet budget. Why is the first decision these suits usually make is to cut people? Can't they earn that huge salary and be creative? Or better yet cut their own salaries so that people don't have to be unemployed. Most of the cuts are in technology. They didn't work there because they were not needed. The product will suffer. Cutting people can be so shortsighted.
  22. Have to agree with this sentiment. Where is the compassion from big business today? Who cares about the impact these moves have on the people and their families. We know the suits don't care as long as they get the big bonus.
  23. The Offensive line needs to be as good as can be for this offense to work. They let Levitre go, so the line will be weaker. So at this point I'm a bit pessimistic.
