  1. Is this a sneak peak from the next 'Alien' movie? Looks like somethin' is on the way...
  2. Congrats on the family addition. Did you get caught up in the moment and name the bambino 'Josh Allen NoHuddleKelly12'?
  3. Haha! Just inked a 4 year deal, per Bills mobile. @JoeF...time to update your thread title to 'Signed'.
  4. I remember seeing the highlights on an 'Alcoa Fantastic Finishes' clip. They used to show them during Sunday games at the two minute warning before halftime. It was awesome. Nice keepsake but it's not for the Roland Hooks game winner in '81. You're 6 years too late.
  5. "Perfect" would have to be #1 or tied for #1. The writer says that the Bills unis are "so close to being perfect"...so one seldom used combo knocks them from near the top to middle of the pack at #16?? Great logic, Skippy. Epic fail. And yeah, I'm biased but the Bill unis are the best in football. Red, white, and blue is a great combo which, thinking about it now, evokes a great memory from back in the day. Bills G Reggie McKenzie was asked before a Monday Night game against Dallas what it felt like to be playing 'America's Team'. Reggie's answer was (paraphrasing), "We're America's Team...we're the ones wearing red, white, and blue." GO BILLS!!!
  6. The English language is constantly changing and evolving...some things for the better and some for the worse. I'd argue that we, 'across the pond', earned the right to our own dialect, phrases, and idioms when we gained our independence from your tyrannical king and the 'mighty' British military almost 250 years ago. The English language is not 'beautiful', otherwise it would be one of the 'romance languages'. It has borrowed from several other languages and is an ugly, guttural language like German which, by the way, you blokes would be speaking had we not bailed your arses out of not one but two World Wars. Cheerio! ??
  7. In fairness, these are the same fans who booed when McNabb was drafted because they wanted Ricky Williams (how did that one work out for Mike Ditka?). That said, I agree with the many who have already stated that McNabb belongs in the 'Hall of Very Good'. To me, he was the precursor to an Andy Dalton type...good enough to keep you competitive but not good enough to take you to 'The Promised Land'.
  8. I'm having some denture cream and 'Depends' overnighted to OBD. I'm hoping he won't need them until after the season. HFBD, Mr. Gore!
  9. While the bolded may be true (and probably true for any fan base), I don't see any of that in this thread thus far...at least nobody who is "up in arms". Just discussion.
  10. Some guys want 'JR' or 'III' added after their last name on the jersey. Knox's agent apparently wants 'FT' added before Dawson's last name... ?
  11. It's interesting to note that those in the national media who think the Bills are going to be bad think that Allen won't be any good (like Schatz) and those who think the Bills are on the rise think that Allen will be a good QB. Regardless of their stance, each side has seemed to draw a line in the sand based on their predetermined convictions and they are not going to budge. They will either crow when they are right or ignore it (and try to avoid eating crow) when they are wrong. Such is life in the 'hot take' world of social media. FWIW, Aaron Schatz is a frequent guest on 'Schopp & the Bulldog' and Mike Schopp worships at the altar of Schatz.
  12. What are 'titbits'? Was there a 'nip slip' that the media failed to report?
  13. He's a sometime guest and 'ball-washee' of Mike Schopp, for whatever that is worth. I know that will give some people even more reason to trash him. ??
  14. Dear Adam, Don't listen to the naysayers. I think you will do great...and I know GREAT! I got a raw deal, too, but it was New York City's and the greater New Jersey area's loss. If you ever need any advice or another assistant, please don't hesitate to give me a call. I'm available for mentoring, as well. GO JETS! Sincerely, Rich Kotite
  15. RIP, Pancho. Thanks for always representing us with class, dignity, and passion. Thoughts and prayers to the family and his myriad of friends. So sad when we lose one of our own and all too soon in the prime of life. You will be missed but never forgotten. Vaya con Dios, amigo.
  16. So it's kind of a 'Fisher Stevens' thing. The Bills cut Fisher and signed Stephens. That is the moral of the story...
  17. Pegs has a couple of other daughters. Fisher best get to wooing...
  18. Guess he chose Starbucks over Tim Horton's...
  19. Here's another small RB comp...Devin Singletary is almost the exact same height and weight as Barry Sanders. Devin is 5' 7", 203 lbs and Barry was 5' 7 5/8", 203 lbs. Barry's 40 time was obviously much faster and in no way am I saying that Singletary is Barry Sanders but the point is that their physical attributes are the same and their styles are similar. Notes from an actual scouting report Gil Brandt wrote on Barry Sanders for Dallas: "Sanders measured up at 5-foot-7 5/8, 203 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.37. ... I wish he was a little taller. ... Has Tony Dorsett-like ability as a runner, unbelievable quickness (quickness grades above 80 percent). ... Great leg strength and vision. ... Can cut, stop and start on a dime. ... Has been very durable. ... Can return kickoffs (two for TDs in 1987). ... Oklahoma State seldom throws ball to running backs but he did catch ball well in practice. ... Great person, everyone from equipment manager to the secretaries brag on him. ... Should be a Pro Bowl player." https://www.profootballhof.com/news/hall-recall-barry-sanders/
  20. This is not to say that he IS but...he LOOKS like a hipster douche (and, yes, I know that hipster and douche are redundant). Why on earth are you looking for Baker's nips? ?
  21. You could've gotten a 'Braxton' nameplate in honor of the late Jim 'Bubba' Braxton. That would've been a sweet conversation piece.
