  1. A big part of the decision probably involves the type of receiver Watkins is and whether that is the best fit for Dennison's offense. Watkin's strength is as a dynamic, home run deep route speed receiver and not necessarily a short route possession receiver. Dennison's offense is definitely a passing / possession offense. Watkin's ~53.8% catch percentage might not have been a good fit for a passing possession offense.

  4. Jordan Matthews has a catch percentage of 62%! WTF Bean Head!
  5. Darby was expendable and too short and small, not going to miss him. But trading Sammy Watkins, the best player on the team who was healthy for the first time in years, primed and ready to give his all for what should have been a great season, is absolutely ludicrous, idiotic, moronic, egotistical, power hungry and flat out foolhardy. 2nd round draft pick? BFD. Drafts are risky, they already had a PROVEN PLAYER. The worst part about this whole deal is that I have lost all confidence in our GM. You can rebuild the team without jettisoning the best player on the team and a fan favorite- not just because you want to show you are the new BMF on campus. This move takes the wind out of the rest of the team. Who is going to give their all for this guy when he got rid of Sammy? Moves like this come to define a tenure of a GM and staff. This one defines that he is a power hungry a-hole, nothing more. FU Brandon Beane. A Big FU.
  6. this season is in the schitter. how the hell are the players going to be motivated when the best player on the team was traded because the GM wanted to make a statement? answer- they wont be. bean is just a royal a hole.
  7. NFL story of the year. Possibly a run for the East crown. Seriously.
  8. doubtful. has the chance to be just the opposite. What?!
  9. Living in the Chicago area I have witnessed first hand the absolute bone headed blundering by the Bears organizational regimes that completely wasted the talents of Jay Cutler. Beginning with the horrendous deal that GM Gerry Angelo made to get Cutler from Denver (so many draft picks that the team never recovered and it cost him his job). Because he rarely produced (thanks to numerous coaching changes, rosters filled with holes in several key positions, incidents that questioned his commitment) Cutler became the pariah and was run out of town. \ Make no mistake- he has high level arm talent and can still be a gunslinger. The Dolphins offense is primed to take advantage- a solid running game, offensive line and two marquee receivers. A very serious threat and could wind up being the story of the season. Unfortunately for us.
  10. very well put. a credible set of receivers with a healthy sammy and charles clay gives him a chance to shine.
  11. the ny post is a popular paper but they are a raunchy rag just this side of the national enquirer. the headlines during the anthony weiner scandal were pretty funny. With the expiration of their patents, the ED drug makers are pulling out at the right time.
  12. playoffs by hook, crook or lots of help.
  13. It will be a successful season for you if Tom Brady gets injured?
  14. reason to be cheerful part 3.
  15. despite the defense regressing, the secondary all but non-existent and watkins and dareus out or not contributing very much of the year last season- the bills were in contention for the WC quite late in the year. if the offense can keep from losing anything and the defense takes shape / improves like we believe it can they could be in a better position this season, especially if ragland and lawson step up as well.
  16. sammy should do some ballet- strengthen that bum foot.
  17. Much better than 144 pages about an overrated WR that the Bills decided not to throw stupid $ at!
  18. I'm not so sure- he may be coasting on his rep- caught an awful 57% of his targets last season.
  19. pat williams only played 6 seasons with the vikings and no pro-bowls. vs london fletcher's 7 seasons with the skins and (4) pro-bowls.
  20. no matter how he left the team letting London Fletcher go was one seriously boneheaded moves by the Bills! he played at a high level for the redskins for (7) seasons (after 5 with the Bills) and his stint with the skins included (4) pro bowls.
  21. Because his career batting average is still appallingly low and IMHO those picks are Rex's
  22. been saying this since the beginning and was the reason the bills would target a quality wideout in the draft. dennison likes to spread the ball around and his receivers pile on the yards, last season two were at the 1000 yard level, something the bills haven't come close to in way too long.
  23. this is flat out ridiculous but i wouldn't doubt it could happen. new regime wants to build their team their way and through the draft. it may also make sense if his foot is such a chronic injury that he may never have the capability to live up to expectations again. he can be such a powerful weapon if used properly and alongside another legitimate receiving threat the way dennison's offense has worked in the past. jettison sammy and there goes half of the plan- unless he is truly damaged goods. i guess we shall see.....
