  2. She had just essentially let the parole violating woman beater go. Seems like you don't understand what got him the extra 30 days.
  3. Factor in the 80 yards on that one 5 yard pass with 75 YAC in overtime and that production is essentially what you would hope to get on average from your QB, not what you would laude him for for producing one time. You need only look at the QB play for the Bills since 2003 to see similar statistical anomalies. Ryan Fitzpatrick once threw for 370 yards in a win against New England. Trent Edwards was 10-6 as a starter upon entering the league. JP Losman and Kelly Holcomb produced a winning season and nearly guided the Bills to the playoffs in 2004. Given enough time, none of them passed the sniff test. Much like Tebow, when you look at their body of work as a whole and not based on the anomalous aspects, they sucked the majority of the time they were on the field.
  4. IMO, that video also shows a judge working herself up to the level of indignation needed to reject that plea deal. Johnson is an idiot, and nothing is going to change that. Prisons are overcrowded and expensive, and the judge's reaction to this is not what you should expect from a person in her position. If she wanted to make a point, she could have fined the hell out of him. You could argue that it wouldn't mean a thing to Johnson, and you would likely be right, but it would gain the courtroom's attention, save face for the judge if that was really what was needed, and been in the best interest of the county. Instead she looks petty and vindictive, and manages to put a butt slapping buffoon away for 30 days at a cost to the taxpayers.

  6. People also won't like this... Mike Mularkey was the most successful Bills coach in the last 13 years.
  7. Jim Boeheim? You're crazy. He doesn't look anything like him.
  8. I thought that was the incumbent QB for the Jets... my bad, that's dirty Sanchez.
  9. Of all the people you could have put in the dress to serve you beer, you thought Chuck Norris would be the most appealing? You went with humiliation over sex appeal? YOU stay thirsty, my friend.
  10. Given that he hasn't done a thing yet, he reminds me of every other coach in the modern technological age that has yet to coach a down for their team... full of promise and over analyzed. I'm as hopeful as the next guy about Marrone, and I like the direction things are headed in the offseason, but c'mon. I think I'll start a thread about how the smell of his flatulence inspires confidence in the masses.
  11. Maybe the OP could acquire the rights to eball's former avatar to go with it.

  15. Ain't the new sound just like the old sound...
  16. 2013 Buffalo Bills - Relax... it's just a game.
  17. I appreciate the compliment. I confess, however, that the Chuck Norris quote was unearthed via a google search comprised of "Chuck Norris devil" in honor of the thread content.
  18. Is there any greater argument for the damage that concussions do than the incomprehensible babble that spews forth from the majority of former NFL player's mouths when they are put in front of a camera? Rhonde Barber and the few articulate former players of his ilk serve as the exception to prove the rule. Aside from the fact that on average I would guess that the median IQ of players upon entering the league is probably south of that of the general population, on retirement these guys are downright bricks. Was Sapp even speaking English in that interview? How does this crap get the ratings to stay on the air?
  19. Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month.
  20. While there are certainly religious overtones to this issue, and there are certainly people who take a stand on Tebow based solely on these religious overtones, his suckatude is pretty undeniable regardless of his faith. Unfortunately, due to his faith, there are those that are blind to his suckatude, and take every insult against his abilities as a personal affront to their religion, as well as those who will take a shot at Tebow for the sole purpose of taking a shot at his religious beliefs, and by extention those who share his beliefs. I am not a religious person. I am cool with live and let live. Aaron Rogers, Drew Brees, hell, even Frank Reich by all accounts are very religious people, and all are infinitely more talented than Tebow in terms of their ability to play QB in the NFL, and yet despite their religious beliefs they are no where near as polarizing. I didn't root for or against Frank Reich because he was a Christian, I rooted for him because he was a Bill. I'm sure, because of his religious beliefs, that there were people who rooted more vigorously for him than what his abilities realistically accounted for, especially because he stood in such stark contrast to Kelly as a person at that time. Admittedly, Tebow is a competitor and was a great college player and has had a few shining moments in the NFL, but the reality based on his body of work is that he is NOT the answer to any team's QB question, as evidenced by the entire league leaving him unemployed. This in a season where nearly a quarter of the teams were scrounging for QBs. Insisting that he is the answer at QB for some team at this stage of the game is not a rational argument. It may be a visceral one, an argument fueled by the last fumes of "Tebowmania," but is not a rational one.
  21. I'll take that one: If the defense is better, Fitz would have more chances to throw the game away with INTs at the worst possible times with horribly underthrown noodle arm "deep" balls, Fred would have more turns because CJ would be even more tired, and we'd have more opportunity to punt from the 35 yard line. The DC wasn't the only problem.
  22. ...and a creationist. http://www.icr.org/article/3107/
  23. "ESPN informed its staff about the layoffs on its internal website, and encouraged employees to contact their supervisor with any questions." Classy. I wonder if they get this internal website for free, or if $5.15 per month was deducted from their now defunct paychecks for the right to read about the loss of their jobs. How gutless.
