  5. 2013 Buffalo Bills - Relax... it's just a game.
  6. I appreciate the compliment. I confess, however, that the Chuck Norris quote was unearthed via a google search comprised of "Chuck Norris devil" in honor of the thread content.
  7. Is there any greater argument for the damage that concussions do than the incomprehensible babble that spews forth from the majority of former NFL player's mouths when they are put in front of a camera? Rhonde Barber and the few articulate former players of his ilk serve as the exception to prove the rule. Aside from the fact that on average I would guess that the median IQ of players upon entering the league is probably south of that of the general population, on retirement these guys are downright bricks. Was Sapp even speaking English in that interview? How does this crap get the ratings to stay on the air?
  8. Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month.
  9. While there are certainly religious overtones to this issue, and there are certainly people who take a stand on Tebow based solely on these religious overtones, his suckatude is pretty undeniable regardless of his faith. Unfortunately, due to his faith, there are those that are blind to his suckatude, and take every insult against his abilities as a personal affront to their religion, as well as those who will take a shot at Tebow for the sole purpose of taking a shot at his religious beliefs, and by extention those who share his beliefs. I am not a religious person. I am cool with live and let live. Aaron Rogers, Drew Brees, hell, even Frank Reich by all accounts are very religious people, and all are infinitely more talented than Tebow in terms of their ability to play QB in the NFL, and yet despite their religious beliefs they are no where near as polarizing. I didn't root for or against Frank Reich because he was a Christian, I rooted for him because he was a Bill. I'm sure, because of his religious beliefs, that there were people who rooted more vigorously for him than what his abilities realistically accounted for, especially because he stood in such stark contrast to Kelly as a person at that time. Admittedly, Tebow is a competitor and was a great college player and has had a few shining moments in the NFL, but the reality based on his body of work is that he is NOT the answer to any team's QB question, as evidenced by the entire league leaving him unemployed. This in a season where nearly a quarter of the teams were scrounging for QBs. Insisting that he is the answer at QB for some team at this stage of the game is not a rational argument. It may be a visceral one, an argument fueled by the last fumes of "Tebowmania," but is not a rational one.
  10. I'll take that one: If the defense is better, Fitz would have more chances to throw the game away with INTs at the worst possible times with horribly underthrown noodle arm "deep" balls, Fred would have more turns because CJ would be even more tired, and we'd have more opportunity to punt from the 35 yard line. The DC wasn't the only problem.
  11. ...and a creationist. http://www.icr.org/article/3107/
  12. "ESPN informed its staff about the layoffs on its internal website, and encouraged employees to contact their supervisor with any questions." Classy. I wonder if they get this internal website for free, or if $5.15 per month was deducted from their now defunct paychecks for the right to read about the loss of their jobs. How gutless.
  13. dextroamphetamine/amphetamine - One that happens to have a street value and is considered a drug of abuse, much like narcotic medications such as oxycodone or vicodin.
  14. I think the point of the OP is, if a team is good at identifying and cultivating talent, free agency "punishes" those teams by making it harder to keep those players. However, the league already awards compensatory picks at the end of various rounds, so...
  15. Hopefully minus the fumbling problems (for a big guy, Culpepper had small hands)... Actually, Culpepper wasn't much without Moss, so I hope Manuel turns out to be a great deal more.
  16. I am no scout, but I know statistics... Sex Panther, sixty percent of the time it works every time!!
  17. Bet I can guess which part... oops, there's the sexually insecure homophobic poop humor again.
  18. That's right, it's my stadium, BITCHES!! Baddest man in the whole damn town.
  19. I'm not sure what demographic they're trying to keep from turning the channel by having hot country singers introduce football... maybe NASCAR fans, but you'd think in that case a singing sheep might work better... David Coverdale?
  20. I was unaware that there was a middle ground.
  21. Yes, I agree, we're acting less like sexually insecure homophobes and more like kids who like poop.
  22. What an estrogen festival. You'd think he just got asked to the prom by the captain of the football team.
  23. Your rite, their was alot of ... I can't do this anymore, it's too hard... Are you seriously suggesting that there is profound information hidden somewhere in this thread? Information that was somehow obscured by the grammar police?
