  1. Depending on where you look, Hines Ward was listed as 6’ 205. Shakir is listed as 5’11”-6’ and between 190-195.
  2. I would have settled for a LB that still had NFL level abilities.
  3. Jefferson never gets a hand on it if Lewis doesn’t go for the pick. Even HE acknowledged it. These were his comments about it after the game, “I honestly thought it was over his head. Just got to be more aware of the situation. 4th and 22. Knock the ball down, bro,” said Lewis, adding an expletive or two in his response. “I’m not a selfish player, I don’t try to be a selfish player. I always try to put the team before me. Just gotta knock the ball down. Plain and simple.”
  4. The Pistachio Pistola
  5. FIFY. Your version was a little too generous in my opinion. That said, as one of his early detractors, he’s having a great season. I no longer feel the need to wince and clench my… teeth… when I see him on the field.
  6. I dunno, I think it would be kinda fun if Mahomes and Allen had a similar relationship to Jim Harbaugh and Kelly...
  7. Maybe he wiped pepper on his nose making sandwiches.
  8. Are both wrists injured? This is 2024... WRs don't use two hands to catch anymore... it's not cool enough to make the highlight reel.
  9. After the loss to the Ravens I washed all of my gear and thought I’d exorcised the bad juju… then they lost to the Texans. In a fit of rage I said #£%! it!! …and I stopped believing that my actions had any bearing on the outcome. I stopped wearing Bills swag, stopped racing home to watch games, stopped all of the little compulsive actions that were nothing but nonsense. Five games later, I’m convinced that my new game day randomness is now the key to victory. I spent every moment on Sunday stressing over the fact that my every action, thought, movement, etc had to be new and unique for them to win. It was absolute torture. I can’t handle the pressure. I’m about to crack. I’m A Creature Of Habit. I’M NOT THAT CREATIVE. I CAN’T KEEP THIS UP. SOMEBODY HELP ME, PLEEEAAAASSSSEEE!!
  10. I mean, there's three whole minutes gone in the game and the Jets are down by a TD. What're the odds they can come back and score more than the Cards in the last 57 minutes? What more proof do you need? ...In fairness, it is the Jets and they are playing today, so odds are they will lose.
  11. He should have passed OJ today on the play before Cook's TD... lousy bum. Cut him.
  12. BD: It’s hard to win without men who can jump over things.
  13. We put out feelers like you asked. McD’s response was “good one” followed by a lot of clapping and then he hung up the phone.
  14. Injury insurance. End of season PS and expanded PS for playoffs, kinda like they did with Beasley and Brown in 2022.
  15. Atlanta with Cousins is sneaky good, and TB with Baker's revival is better than a 0.500 team. Thereare signs of life in the NFC South at the moment. Couldn't find the laughing agree emoji.
  16. I didn't realize you could find roast beef in Cambodia...
  17. If only Gailey coulda gotten CJ into space…
  18. So am I to assume DVOA doesn’t consider RBs running free untouched beyond 10 yds downfield from the LOS in its algorithm?
  19. Their call of the slow motion replay literally ended with “I guess that was it? 🤷‍♂️”
  20. With Reid? 53, and they make the playoffs 4 of 5 seasons, with the only non-10 win season being 9-7. So, is your argument that McDermott is doing essentially as well with Allen as Reid did with Alex Smith?
  21. JB, Cowher, Nate Burleson, and Matt Ryan ALL commented on this in the post-game. They were quick to say they weren't taking away any of Diggs importance to the team while he was here, but every one of them mentioned that Allen looks more relaxed, confident, at ease with his role as a leader, and that he has demonstrated tremendous growth in his game this season when he can just concentrate on getting the ball to the open guy and spread it around.
  22. And a 5th deflected for an INT.
  23. Don't forget the snap that sailed over his head...
  24. Asking for a friend... so you're NOT supposed to carry a newborn like a loaf of bread? ...or a football?
  25. Maybe they can make a trade for Dustin Hopkins. It would be a full circle moment, and the Browns don't need him. The problem is the cap hit cutting Bass and taking on Hopkins 5M+ AAV salary... unless there's a way of adding draft capital to the deal in exchange for Cleveland swapping kickers, in which case it's about a million per year difference in contracts. Someone with an understanding of the cap and more time to sort out the contract details may have a better idea if it's actually plausible.
