There are too many variables to wait until next year. Top two QBs are sophomores, they may decide to stay another year. Or the Bills somehow win too many games and only get a shot at forth or fifth rated guy. Or injuries. Or the top guys next year have a bad year and no longer look that great, so then what wait another year? Not drafting QBs is what got us here. Over what we have, yes.

Are you and I the only people that get this? Based on recent trades the Bills will now be able to take either the first or second QB in the draft. If the guy turns out not to be the guy it is not as big a deal as it use to be, because of the rookie salary cap.

There is no way they wait until the fifth or sixth round to take a QB. Kolb is just Fitz with a restructured contract. His signing changes nothing. There are too many variables to wait until next year. Not pulling the trigger on a QB in early rounds is what got them in this mess.

The new rookie salary structure changed what teams can do. Under the old system if you drafted a QB in round one the money committed was too large to do it again for years.

I don't think about the Cowboys very often but in looking at mock drafts I kept thinking they were going to take a QB. I look at this season as Romo's last chance, then this, wow.

I agree I think it will be Nassib at 8. I would prefer Manuel as well, but what do I know.

I've stated my position on drafting a QB so many times that you all know I think they have to take one at 8. I think it is possible that three will go in the top ten. So if I'm the Bills I rank the top three and pick which ever is there when they pick. My top three in order are as follows: E J Manuel Ryan Nassib Geno Smith My reasoning on Manuel is that he has excelled at every opportunity, the Senior Bowl, the Combine and his Pro Day.
