I wrote earlier that I think this is just good coaching. Kolb knows the speed of the game and has faced NFL defenses that blitz, no reason to dumb it down for him. Manuel on the other hand is being eased into the speed and complexity. If you threw everything at him it could slow his learning curve. The objective is to have him ready for opening day.
They keep six, so, Johnson, Graham, Woods, Goodwin, Rogers and? As of right now it appears to be either Hogan or Smith. I'm sorry if this is close I'm keeping Hogan, more potential.
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
Where have I heard that before?
How they are handling Kolb vs Manuel strikes me as just good coaching, not subterfuge.
So let me get this straight. Tebow, who was arguably one of the greatest college players of all time, granted at the QB position, is deemed incapable of playing another position. You may want to check one of the other threads, because there are a whole lot of people extolling the virtues of Brad Smith, who was a mediocre college QB converted to WR.
All joking aside. I saw Tebow interviewed yesterday. He was asked of he would play any TE. He responded that he would do what ever was asked of him. That makes me nervous. Belichick could find a way to use him.
Based on what? The front office negotiates contracts. The coaching staff evaluates talent. I didn't mention his contract and don't care. I don't think his production on ST warrants a rooster spot.
Your generalization is absurd. I don't play fantasy football and I don't gamble. Brad Smith is a bad QB, a not very good WR and a good ST player. I don't think the Bills should use a rooster spot for a soon to be thirty ST player. They would be better served giving that spot to a young receiver that at least has potential,
