  1. Zeke Elliot is now "make or break" because of a (barely) sub 1000 yd season (he only got 244 carries) and 6 rushing TDs? lol
  2. Were you responsible for the 2015-16 drafts?
  3. He was exactly a bust. Top 10 pick. 2 good years out of 8. Bounced around 4 teams in 3 seasons after the Bills finally dumped him. A career total 12 rushing TDs, 9 receiving (vs 19 fumbles).
  4. but does he match that legendary Maybin "first step"? The rest of the NFL voted on Spiller: he was a bust.
  5. Truer words could not be posted..... The D has been "top 5" 3 times in the last 15 seasons. Only 1 time in 6 years if you go by points allowed. The O has outranked the D 3 of the past 6 years. Bold words for a guy with a handful of posts...
  6. I think most already understood Westwood and Berkley were different than South Carolina. Point is, 5 star non-loud Christians and non-Christians recruits can safely exist at Clemson, despite the zealotry of the HC. Sammy ("reincarnated", "Jesus could be Lucifer") did fine there. Shaq Lawson was a local boy who wanted to stay near family. Hunter Renfrew's mom and brother one there. Deshaun Watson converted to Southern Baptist in Houston (safe to say he was not very devout). You can ask the other poster, but I would guess baptizing one of your players counts. But no one can doubt he's legit as a college football coach and program runner.
  7. Or someone who can actually swing their tackle....
  8. Meh, hyper-religious dudes are often phonies (see "Liberty University") lunatics (Jim Jones, Koresh, etc) or pervs (pick any). If Hopkins (or Trevor Lawrence) said he wanted to paint a giant pentagram on the wall of the Clemson weight room, Dabo would ask: "what shade of red should I pick up at Tractor Supply Company?" Anyway, it's a state school. Safe for the atheists (to answer the original question).
  9. Good point. I'm sure potential jurors in Houston were very sympathetic to Watson before this story broke......
  10. oh, that's just the tau depositions talkin!! He meant the best organization he never played (5 pass attempts in 2 years) for. He loved that they paid him for nothing long after he was washed up----and where his career went to die.
  11. Any state school Once I pull the sword from the stone....
  12. Just since March 2020, there have been 8 Clowney threads. Plus another in 2019 (38 pages!). There's even one in 2014!
  13. Football burned inside of Luck. Then he walked away.
  14. With Clowney, it's an annual phenomenon.
  15. Has any player who was never coming to the Bills ever generated so many threads and thread pages? I'm asking for a friend before he starts the next Clowney thread.
  16. You said half way through that season so I thought you were referring to his record breaking 2019 season.
  17. The easiest conclusion is the most obvious: none of those organizations see him as a backup caliber QB, let alone a starter.
  18. In his first year at LSU, he was twice named SEC player of the week, led them to 10-3 and won a bowl game. In 2019, he was destroying the SEC (on national TV) from week 1. He threw 17 TDs and over 1500 yards in September. Another 18 in October. Burrow was on everyone's radar well before halfway through that season.
