  1. explain "the Dols are the bigger threat" part
  2. He's half their remaining Offense. Why would they let him go for a late 1st rounder in 2023?
  3. LOL, doesn't TSW terms of use prohibit posting/promoting businesses or products?
  4. Not sure what being paid to work with it has to do with it? You somehow say this after reading his comments on previous clients. Again, the guy is a businessman. Him posting (and Bills fan boards reposting) his association with his top client (left) is good for business. Keep reading, begin with the title.
  5. As you are threatening to cancel/move your subscription business to the New York Times, ask Hochul for $14, the NFL for $3.50, your season ticket holders for the other $4.50. Boom--easy!!
  6. We all say that--without being paid to do so. lol for real?
  7. lol, "rectum?...damn near killed 'em" Well yeah, that's the point: many were "wrong" when they assessed those guys early in their careers.. I thought it was interesting that someone would post "how can so many professionals be so wrong"...in a Jordan Palmer thread, when... ...one of those "professionals" is none other than Palmer. But he may have just been pumping clients of his.
  8. I got that, yeah... Anyway, I don't "hate-on" anyone because I was in my teens many decades ago, when that might have been a thing. Annual Jordan Palmer threads, in my opinion, are odd. Clearly, the guy is a shrewd businessman, I do give him that.
  9. so..not Adams no problem
  10. You should have stopped at this... I was clearly responding to the post that I quoted, re: Darnold, Rosen.
  11. why would they document that at all, let alone "in a second set of books"?
  12. He's talking about Christian Wade
  13. How indeed. Let's here from......Jordan Palmer!! "I've said this a bunch, Sam is one of the best young quarterbacks in this league," Palmer recently said on an appearance on ESPN's NFL Live. "He has everything. You talk to smart coaches around the league, Sam is one of those guys that they put in a different category. It's just going to be a matter of time for him. "Last offseason, he had an unbelievable offseason," he said. "He laid out a plan with his coaching staff and he checked every box. Then the mono thing hit, there was a new coaching staff, so with Sam, I don't think that he has to make any drastic changes to what he's doing. I think it's just going to be a matter of time until things click. People are healthy, guys know the system and he'll explode. and... "I've been around Josh (Rosen) since HS. When I look at Josh, from a talent perspective, talking to a lot of folks, it's pretty unanimous across the board, this guy mechanically is really clean. I think Josh is going to be a phenomenal player." "Jordan explained that when Carson Palmer studied Rosen film before the 2018 draft, he came away comparing him to Tom Brady in how he is decisive, gets rid of the football quickly and pushes the ball down the field." lol--the Jordan Palmer hype machine (here) never rests.
  14. It was a very weak bluff. Austin? That town knew nothing about it until the rumor hit. There's zero chance that 24 owners would vote to put another team in Texas. This was posted and discussed earlier in this thread: https://www.investigativepost.org/2022/02/28/state-historically-not-a-big-funder-of-stadiums/ You are conflating state funds with local and federal. The city/local money for those downstate projects came in the form of tax abatements, infrastructure/land, rent credits, etc.--as you said. The state money is in cash "grants", loans, tax exempt bonds (by far, more money was gotten this way with federal bonds--no state), tax breaks. As you can see, the overall "state" contribution as a percent of all funding, is low. The Bills stadium will be almost 50% funded directly by the state. Since the Bills aren't building a stadium, they should hardly be expected to get "tax breaks" for the building of one. If you want to compare this project to downstate projects, then the state should have offered the 250 million and Erie County should pick up the 600 million. Then it's more apples to apples. Maybe because she has made a mockery of a once proud NHL franchise. And it's Hochul who announced the state was going to build Kim Terry a new stadium ...
  15. Bass, as a rookie, had a record breaking season with Bojo holding for him. Plus he can punt.
  16. Certainly one of the more bizarre Bills roster moves (keeping this guy around so long) in memory.
  17. I think there is no chance that owners like Pegula, Blank, Kroenke, etc sit quietly and meekly by while 3-4 other owners “pull all the strings” on their business. Zero point zero chance. These are collective decisions because each decision affects everyone’s money
  18. the money always flows the other way

    Ut oh
  20. There's a spectrum that exists between "NFL team (likely bluffing) leaving" and "the biggest state funding of an NFL stadium in US history"...
  21. I didn't mean to go too too heavy on the math. And I will tell you, Amazon DID end up buying a building on 5th avenue for a billion dollars of its own money for 3500 new workers/taxpayers. I'm sure they have some sort of public space/lobby--maybe even a gift shop you can visit from out of state. Pretty sure they even have a bunch of restaurants in Manhattan (maybe not as good as Anchor Bar or Mighty Taco) you could go to while you're there. Hotels nearby too, I think. Check it out!
  22. Name a single owner who wants to bring up the topic of team finances/accounting methods with the public or it's elective representatives.
  23. Well.....Amazon isn't a tourist attraction that you visit. It's a place of business that was intending to bring in 25,000+ jobs averaging $150,000 (that alone would bring in $150million in NYC income tax per year), not a rarely used entertainment venue employing a few dozen concession workers and maintenance folks. But if the above is your argument, yeah--this is a pointless debate.
