  1. I'm saying that U team was nothing in any way like the current Bills makeup. It was a run heavy scheme that didn't rely on bombs by the QB--even if he tossed a few. Also, Chud was of a mind in Carolina that it was ok to run your big athletic QB into the ground. Daboll/Dorsey certainly seem bent on continuing that...
  2. Not so sure about "aggressive downfield passing" at the U--especially for 2001 (their Championship year). Dorsey was out of the top 25 in passing yards and out of the top 15 in TDs. They ran the ball (Portis, McGahee). Newton had his best all around year as a passer in 2015, under Shula. Without a running game, I'm sure Dorsey has a downfield passing game in mind in Buffalo.
  3. One would hope not--the public will own this stadium, no the Bills. They will likely pay for overruns.
  4. "loan from the league to help cover construction costs, up to $150 million of which could be repaid by the league’s other 31 franchises, through the visiting team’s share of Bills ticket revenue." If they borrow more, they pay the NFL back for the rest
  5. Where is Pegula's Rent-A-Jet???!
  6. A season where he produced nearly no gametape certainly did him good. Keeps teams guessing. Better to show them nothing than to remind them why you washed out as a starter. He way overdrafted...leading to a predictable disaster. Yeah, any team could have picked him up for peanuts on a multi-year deal last season. Not one did. Now he's going to get 14-15 million a year after adding nothing at all to his resume to entice a GM? Doesn't make sense. Dalton is exactly why he won't get that money.
  7. 27 fumbles in 5 years of college ball? no. He's #17 in pass attempts in the NCAA since 1956---and #13 in plays (2091). That's a fumble rate of 1.29% While at Wyoming, big hands Josh had 13 fumbles in 885 plays for a rate of 1.47%. Given that fumble rate, what precautions did the Bills take regarding Allen's fumble issue? (he's fumbled 39 times in 60 games for a rate of 1.6%)...
  8. "he's on record that he has a sweet tooth and he doesn't like vegetables" One of the worst player evals I have suffered through--a painful listen from Joe Marino..
  9. oh yeah? tell us more....
  10. Where have the Bills been 2 years in a row now "3 months down the road"? Sent home too soon--this year under chaotic circumstances. I'd rather have a coaching staff that was unified and"comfortable" under a well defined plan/philosophy, not one that has members b-wording to those who are not in the FO. All these extra details won't stop the true believers from continuing to insist that it's all made up clickbait...
  11. Why would she? She is a part owner of a business (one that she has stated exists to some degree to fund the "Family Lifestyle") so she's not interested in losing money. Second, I'm sure she felt that the cheerleaders being ripped-off was not the Bills/PSE's problem to deal with.
  12. He would be an actual 1st round beast D pick for the Bills. I'm for it.
  13. McD writing this down for next January.....
  14. yeah, they will tell him to hold onto the ball tight. Essentially same hand size as Burrow, who doesn’t seem to be taking any special precautions as he has been dropping bombs under pressure.
  15. not true. Sure he has straight line speed but he breaks ankles. He’s not just outrunning guys in a Y route
  16. Not a great route runner?? wtf. he's the least coverable WR in the NFL.
  17. I wonder how many were defended and how many dropped. It's 11 passes. Also, get Justin Fields out of there with his tiny attempt total. Come on...
  18. lol what precautions would he take? Anyway, the guy with the smallest hands among NFL QBs right now (only 9 inches/8.5 for Pickett)? Joe Burrow.
  19. Multiple NFL teams: "hello, may I speak to Derek Carr?" Raiders: "Derek's not here right n..." Multiple NFL teams: (laugh loudly and hang up)
  20. How many ball drops did he have las year?
  21. Well, McC isn't a pure RB like those 2. He's had a single season with over 250 carries. Alexander had 6 in a row (4 of them over 300) and 7 very productive seasons. Henry had 2 of his last 3 seasons over 300 (if not injured this past year he may have reached 400 carries). McC is a dwarf compared to those guys. He hasn't had to opportunity to be run into the ground yet---and he's already a wreck.
