The NFL decides which team will be on the show, based on agreed upon criteria (with the owners). It's not something you can politely decline. At least it's just the off season--the Giants are on (again!) for the new regular season spinoff. I can't wait to see another season of Shoen and Daboll making fools of themselves "behind the scenes" (we already see it live on Sundays).

It's amazing so much energy is being expended on a perfectly legal football play any team can use. It matches strength vs strength. Eliminating it because one team is really good at it makes no sense. It is so rarely used (0.285% of all Offensive plays last year), it's not worth debating.

The era of great Defense is overblown---see teams trading blowouts on alternating nights. See also the game being dominated by the 3 point shot with poor shooting everywhere. Like Josh Allen, Denver has, by far, the most dominant player in the league --and in the playoffs. Jokic played the most minutes, scored the most points, had the most rebounds and assists in the playoffs as of yesterday. That's incredible. IF the Bills don't make the SB this year, McD has to go---as the common denominator. He would be the Bills Tomlin. Since we are comparing, if he was an NBA coach, he likely would have gotten canned already.
