  1. Rebuilding/Reloading never ends.... plus the bills will be way under the cap again next year....so expect another big splash in free agency... you can lop off $35 million with some of the bigger names gone by the start of next season: merriman ($5.0 mil), kelsay ($5.0 mil), dwan edwards ($4.5 mil), spencer johnson ($4.0 mil), nick barnett ($4.0 mil), terrence mcgee ($3.8 mil), brad smith ($3.8 mil), tyler thigpen ($3.0 mil), mckelvin ($2.6 mil),
  2. i think it is significant.....gailey always telegraphs his depth chart.....i think brad smith should be cut, he is god awful throwing the football and without the real threat of throwing, the wildcat is too predictable. there are half a dozen better choices to return kickoffs. brad smith excels at nothing !!
  3. just sold my pit tix on nfl ticket exchange.....i paid $80 (sec 110), i listed em for $80, got net $72 (less 10%).....for pre-season ??....thats amazing.
  4. YES !! ...WITHOUT A DOUBT and if i was them, i'd pick Dareus, Kyle Williams and Mario Williams.
  5. rumor has it, the bills may win the coin toss and defer.
  6. backup TIGHT END is even worse..... quick.....can you even name who the 2nd & 3rd tight end is on the depth chart ?.......
  7. the battle for comeback player of the year figures to be very interesting. Here's a look at the 20 most important players coming back from serious injury or retirement: #3. DE Mario Williams #16. DT Kyle Williams http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--rankings--mario-williams--peyton-manning-and-several-other-nfl-stars-look-to-regain-form.html
  8. that the CBA would result in labor peace....
  9. Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested over the weekend in Oakland, Calif., for suspicion of driving under the influence, the San Jose Mercury News and KGO-TV in San Francisco are reporting. The newspaper, citing a sheriff's spokesman, reports the former Cal football player was arrested Saturday night and taken to Santa Rita County Jail. The Mercury News reports Lynch was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol. http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2012-07-17/marshawn-lynch-seattle-seahawks-dui-nfl
  10. not to get off track....but,the "bottleneck" is with U.S. & Canadian Custom Agents. the bridges are not properly staffed with inspection officers, especially during bills games. when a bridge becomes a defacto parking lot, it's not an infrastructure issue (roads, bridges & toll booths). our area is already serviced by the Peace, Rainbow, Lewiston-Queenston & Whirlpool Bridges.
  11. NFL has egg on their face.... i DON'T think it's Hargrove......in my opinion, based on body language, it's Ayodele who says "give me my money". http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/06/23/heres-a-chance-to-judge-the-hargrove-video-for-yourself/
  12. i'm going the other way this season (last year i dogged him constantly about getting injured).....i say he stays reasonably healthy this season.
  13. let him stay home and rot....
  14. the average NFL game has only 11 minutes of action (start of play to whistle). the rest of the 3 hours is walking back to huddle, replays and commercials. i'm a big fan of the Red Zone.....they show constant action from several games , all commercial free.
  15. based on his body of work from last year...#24 is fair. no sympathy points for playing with a cracked rib. based on my future prediction....i say he is #15 after this season.
  16. Here's what we know about the Buffalo Bills quarterback position: 1. Ryan Fitzpatrick is paid like a franchise quarterback. Despite his struggles at the end of last season, he's going to be treated like an entrenched starter, unless he massively struggles this offseason. 2. Brad Smith has worked out almost exclusively at quarterback this offseason. (On Friday, he was at receiver.) Tim Graham of the Buffalo News passed along word Friday that coach Chan Gailey plans to use Smith as the team's No. 3 quarterback this year. 3. Gailey confirmed that the team will still use plenty of Wildcat offense with Smith at the helm. 4. Vince Young and Tyler Thigpen are battling for the backup job. With Smith's spot as the No. 3 quarterback secure, it doesn't take a genius to realize that the loser of the Thigpen/Young will be out of a job. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d829dd9c4/article/vince-young-tyler-thigpen-battle-for-bills-backup-role?module=HP11_headline_stack
  17. David Stern Asks Jim Rome if 'He Beats his wife' (audio) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmD-j0MJRsM
  18. whatever he got upfront as a signing bonus that was prorated over the life of the contract and had not been fully charged against the cap would be on the bills.
  19. I WOULDN'T MISS ONE GUY ON THAT LIST......
