  1. a huge "turnover" advantage in our favor (only way we win) and i'd like to see Mario have a good game....
  2. actually, just the opposite....At issue in the contract was one specific clause that would have enabled Payton to walk away from the deal if general manager Mickey Loomis was suspended, fired or left the New Orleans organization, sources said. The league believed that any such language in Payton's contract would set a bad precedent for other coaching contracts and rejected the deal well before Loomis was suspended for the first eight games this season for his part in the bounty scandal. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8592214/sean-payton-deal-new-orleans-saints-voided-nfl-sources-say as far as where he may land.....a franchise QB is a must......not sure Romo qualifies for that.....but Dallas money would be huge. new orleans would still be the favorite, but past those two, i think San Diego with philip rivers would be in play.
  3. P.S.A. .......once healthy, Mario will be a very productive player.......will he live up to his contract, probably not.
  4. unhappy is an understatement.....there is a complete lack of trust with coaches and management (who implied it was all in his head and refused to list him on the injury report) and the bills doctors who failed to diagnose the severity of the injury.
  5. boy...am i torn.....i love tim tebow.....i am cheering for him big time.....but i dont want him on the Bills. i know he's a winner and all the intangibles...... BUT !!....i think denver is a really good team with or without him AND he can't throw a deep ball any better than fitz.
  6. Ralph's plan "A" is to see a Bills Super Bowl win or live to 150.....which ever comes first...
  7. step away from ledge.....we are here for you.....
  8. whatever your taking, hope you brought enough to share....
  9. i did a little research too...... of the last 20 super bowl winning QB's.....90% were FRANCHISE QB's you just keep drafting or aquiring QB's via trades & free agency until you hit on one.....
  10. A waterfront stadium is a bad idea on so many levels that I hardly know where to begin. For starters, a stadium and its vast expanse of requisite parking swallow up stretches of prime waterfront land for a use that is not enhanced by nor dependent upon water. Indeed, the place would sit unused for upwards of 350 days a year. Why not just seal off the waterfront with a giant wall? http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20121025/CITYANDREGION/121029414/1002
  11. after 7 games...the fate of our season is pretty clear.....we're not making the playoffs... playoffs ??......you kidding me ??....playoffs ??

  13. i have recieved 234 messages over the last 18 months.....which averages 3 per week.
  14. during the bye week.... #1- i would fire Wanny....the 32nd ranked defense is flat out unacceptable.....if chan stood in the way, he could go too. #2- i would cut thigpen, promote T. Jax to #2 and bring back Vince Young. #3- i would extend Levitre & Wood right now. #4- i would give up a 2nd for dwayne bowe.
  15. if you read between the lines......the bills do not think his injury is serious at all, hence not listing it on the injury report.....also going so far as to suggest it's much more mental than physical. in addition, by gailey not even knowing if the procedure was done in buffalo or houston, suggest Mario doesn't trust the bills doctors. he knows something is wrong and may have gone back to houston to doctors he trusts. Gailey, who again refused to say how much he thought Williams was being affected by the injury, explained why the procedure could be beneficial to the player beyond its physical impact. “Every advantage that you can get mentally for every player is great,” the coach said. “Everything that makes them feel better about playing, it helps.”
  16. WHY THE SECRECY ????......mario & bills should spell out the exact nature of injury/procedure... Williams was not in attendance Wednesday – the first practice he’s missed all season – a day after The Buffalo News reported he was considering surgery on his wrist. Gailey was vague on any other details surrounding the procedure, saying he had “no idea” whether it was performed in Buffalo or in Houston, where Williams played the first six seasons of his career. The coach said he “thinks” the procedure was performed Tuesday, but was coy about everything else when it came to Williams, as evidenced by the following exchange with reporters. Question: When and how was the decision made? Gailey: “I don’t know all that. They told me what happened and said he’ll be ready next week, that’s all I know right now.” Q: So you’re not clear on exactly what the issue is with the wrist? Gailey: “No.” Q: Is that Williams’ decision , or does he have to run it by team doctors? Gailey: “I don’t know how all that’s made, I just know it happened.” Q: Just to clarify, was it a surgical procedure? You said procedure. Gailey: “I don’t know exactly what it was, to be honest with you. I don’t know if they did something non-invasive or invasive. http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20121025/SPORTS/121029541/1004
  17. carpal tunnel ??......The carpal tunnel is a narrow passageway of ligament and bones at the base of your hand. It contains nerve and tendons. Sometimes, thickening from irritated tendons or other swelling narrows the tunnel and causes the nerve to be compressed. Symptoms usually start gradually. As they worsen, grasping objects can become difficult. tingling or numbness you've had for some time in your hand and wrist. Suddenly, a sharp, piercing pain shoots through the wrist and up your arm. repetitive motion injury going back to puberty ?
  18. procedure is done....he had it....per bills text per bills text... bills de mario williams had a procedure to relieve discomfort in his wrist. he is expected back to practice next week, head coach chan gailey announced today.
  19. the guy is injured.....i see no reason to doubt him..... at some point, it is going to require surgery to fix it...... none of us know the recovery time but i would assume, if he is considering doing it during the bye week, it will be short. based on his play (mostly ineffective), i suggest he do the surgery immediately. i have every confidence, when healthy, he will be a very productive player.
  20. leave the kids at home and head to Lundy's Lane......
  21. with $2 Billion dollars.....we could just buy the bills for $1 Billion, spend $200 million upgrading the ralph and have $800 million leftover.
  22. Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams is considering surgery on his injured left wrist during the team’s bye week, The News has learned. http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20121023/SPORTS/121029618/1109
