everything you say is true...... and thats why we are in the mess we are in..... which came first ...the chicken or the egg....an arguement can be made to build a team either way..... but, in my world, the franchise qb comes first.....and you dont stop drafting , trading or signing a free agent until you hit a home run.

this team has more holes than one draft can possibly fix.... fitz is NOT "good enough"........now if folks want to divert attention away from a mediocre fitz by correctly pointing out our defense sucks , go right ahead. the fact remains that if fitz was replaced by an elite QB (insert name) it would have 10 times the impact of improving this team, than if you replaced any one defensive player on this team with an elite defender (insert name).

i don't think going for it on 4th down on your end of the field will work in the NFL.....unless you build the best O-Line in the league. you take the current bills O-line (when 100% healthy)...a pretty good line.....but when they simply need to make a 1 yard run on 3rd or 4th down.....they are not so good.

Andrew Luck is a once in a decade type player...a surefire can't miss QB....the likes of Peyton Manning and John Elway. heck, no one knew Brady, Brees or Rodgers were gonna be elite..... the fact that the Colts wind up with two of those is just plain Luck.

i guess your suggesting to intentionally lose.....which given the amount of coaching, front office and player jobs on the line and the money that goes with those jobs.....who would actually try to lose ?....that is near impossible.... do you think any of those colt players or coaches were trying to lose?...heck, they won 2 of their last 3 games....
