the locker room is about to implode.... it is obvious all these player comments are directed towards one individual, Mario Williams..... Mario is NOT a leader, by words or actions, he hides from the media, the symbolism of him being elitest as the only guy with a fridge in his locker, his comments to the press that he doesn't care what they or anyone thinks, his constant mentioning of his wrist injury and yet the bills deny he has one and refused to put him on the injury list. his lack of production and effort on the field. he does NOT have the respect of his teammates, in fact, it is just the opposite, what is just trickling out is the tip of the iceberg. the other players flat out resent him. it's going to get ugly.

wasn't there a game against pittsburg, where we needed a win at end of season.....and pit had everything locked up, so they started all their 3rd stringers.....and kicked our butts. -

How many tickets left for home games?
papazoid replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
a few weeks ago, Russ Brandon was quoted in the buffalo news as saying that about 9,000 tickets remained for the miami game and about 20,000 tickets for the other three home games. http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20120914/CITYANDREGION/120919353 -

i hear ya....based on our personnel, that effort yesterday was text book as good as you could hope for.....feature freddy & spiller and have fitz limit his mistakes (1 int & 1 fumble). 1 punt all day. put up 34 points. the defense had ZERO takeaways and got shredded on the ground.

over half his completions were to RB's.....his accuracy throwing a deep ball is HORRIBLE.... having said that, this loss is on the defense, they are the worst in the league against the run.

the 32nd ranked defense -
On if he has to reevaluate what is happening on defense over the bye week: I think we have to reevaluate everything you do. That is what you do with the bye week. You reevaluate everything. You look at it. What is good you try to keep. What is bad and needs work you try to see what you have to do to get it done. That is what you do during the bye week. Everybody does it. If we had won we would still be doing that. On if he would consider coaching changes on defense: No. On if he ever foresaw the defense struggling this much: I did not think we would give up as many yards as we have given up. No. I did not foresee that. We just have to find out exactly what the problems are and we are not solving them right now. If we do not, we are in for a long year. We have to solve them. On his confidence level in Fitzpatrick: It is the same. He made a bad throw at the end. Other than that, he played really, really well. He made one bad throw. If you get rid of all of the quarterbacks for one bad throw, you are not going to have any quarterbacks left. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Chan-Gailey-Bills-will-reevaluate-everything/03a4b710-6347-472f-8471-b78ed4470e4d

NFL’s breast cancer awareness effort is making a difference
papazoid replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is an ongoing debate over what impact the pinking of America truly has on the epidemic of breast cancer in this country but before you weigh in, read this email, sent to the New York Jets two days ago: Name: Tina A Subject: Community Relations Message: Last year October I was watching a Jets game and noticed the pink the team was wearing. I didn’t know why and asked my husband. He said it was for breast cancer awareness. That night for the first time ever I gave myself a self breast exam. You guys saved my life! I am a 34 year old mother of 3 and I was diagnosed 2 weeks later with breast cancer. The outcome had I not seen that game and the players wearing pink would have more than likely been tragic because the cancer had already started to spread and was making its way toward my lymph nodes. I just wanted to say thank you, and to let you know that your efforts in creating breast cancer awareness work. I am living proof. It is a year later and I am here and cancer free. I underwent chemo and radiation and I am here thanks to you. Sincerely, Tina A, Staten Island, NY parenting mag:How awesome is that? It gives me the chills. My sister and I are both moms and cancer survivors (lymphoma and leukemia, respectively) so it hit particularly close to home. Say what you will about the NFL but three kids in Staten Island still have their mom to tuck them in tonight because a bunch of dudes ran around in pink cleats. http://www.parenting...ved-womans-life -

The first step in recovery is to admit you have a problem.... -
a tip of the hat, to you sir !! Twelve seasons without the playoffs, with losing records the last seven, might have discouraged many a Bills fan. Not Kenny Johnson of Rochester. Today will be the 300th straight Bills game, home and away, Pinto Kenny will have attended. As far as anyone knows, that’s a Bills and NFL record. If not, it’s still a remarkable achievement. Johnson does not drive the Pinto, which has logged 186,000 miles, to every game from Rochester. He parks the Pinto in Orchard Park at the start of the season and brings it home when the season ends. Each game he drives his 1998 Buick Regal to a location not far from the stadium, then shuttles the Pinto to the Hammer Lot on Abbott Road, across from One Bills Drive. At 6 a.m. on game day, he starts preparing for a good old Buffalo tailgate party. http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20121020/SPORTS/121029889/two-bills-drive

According to Parenting.com, a Staten Island woman noticed last year the pink accents while her husband was watching a Jets game. She asked about the presence of the color, he told her that the NFL is promoting breast cancer awareness. “That night for the first time ever I gave myself a self breast exam,” the woman informed the Jets this week via email. “You guys saved my life! I am a 34 year old mother of 3 and I was diagnosed 2 weeks later with breast cancer. The outcome had I not seen that game and the players wearing pink would have more than likely been tragic because the cancer had already started to spread and was making its way toward my lymph nodes.” http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/10/20/nfls-breast-cancer-awareness-effort-is-making-a-difference/
