    The hills with the homes on them are 1000-1400 feet. That "bump" in the distance is 3800-foot tall Mt. Diablo, about 25 miles away, the second tallest peak in the SF Bay area.

    My HS had the girls wear suits in the pool, but the boys had to go naked. When we had pool during gym, you could see through the slit between the exit doors, all the girls piling around the doors trying to get a peek. Yo avoided walking near the doors because a few a-holes would try to throw you into the bar on the doors so that you would fall into the girls locker room.

    Heard about this while drinking a beer with my friend and his dad when I was in my 20s. My friend was about 12 and was caught stealing a piece of plywood from a construction site. The cops hauled him down to the town police station and called his dad. His dad asked them to put him in a cell if they were empty and how long could they keep him before he had to come and pick him up.

    I went to Cheektowaga Central - The Warriors and the logo is an Indian Warrior. One PC idiot got their panties in a bunch. So the school board contacted the local tribe (forgot which of the Iroquois Confederacy was in Cheektowaga). They stated they had much more important things to worry about and were just fine with the Warriors. Our school colors were the same as the Redskins.

    I wonder if they are from Goats R Us. They use them a lot on the steep sides the highways instead of using mowers. Was stuck in a 3 mile backup once because idiots had not seen goats before.

    A woman I worked with had tweaked her knee skiing several years earlier and it bugged her. She never limped. Got it scoped, was on crutches for about 10 days, and a week later she was dancing up a storm at the company Christmas party. She said it felt like it did before the injury. She was in her 40s at the time.

    Was watching NFL Network Whiparound and the KC announcers were showing Andre Reed on the KC sidelines saying he was a consultant to the team for the receivers. They were talking about how he has ben getting screwed on the HOF voting. Andre has a few gray chin whiskers.

    Yesterday , MSNBC was talking about Obama's upstate and PA bus tour on Martin Brashir's show. The graphic had Buffalo, Binghamton, and Syracuse near Albany (Syracuse was by Glen Falls) and Scranton PA located about where State College was. I think they left New Hampshire off a map several weeks ago.

    Live in the Central Valley of CA and I was listening to the 3-7 PM sports show out of Sacramento, Stevie's dad calls in (seems to be a regular caller) and lives in Fairfield, about halfway between SF and Sac. He said that his son will be playing in the 3rd preseason game. He said the team is very optimistic and glad that Fitz is gone. Said he loved how EJ played this week.
