  1. It's not a matter of running to run it's a matter of running efficiently enough to keep the defense honest enough to knock them off balance. Green Bay is a great example of that.
  2. The offense isn't played in a vacuum, it's played with an awareness of what is going on in the context of the entirety of the game. The way the Defense was playing, the offense did a fairly decent job of moving the chains and helping the field position game. We also missed two field goal kicks and the winds totally took away our deeper pass game which allowed Baltimore's vaunted DB's to sit on the underneath stuff. Considering the conditions they did what they needed to do to win
  3. If his foot becomes a lingering issue then maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring even more blitzes.
  4. Watkins is inactive? That’s shocking.
  5. I feel the same. I’m not sure that the Browns are the better matchup as their offensive line is dominant and they have the best RB tandem in the NFL. They also are very effective at the play action not to mention they have one of the best edge rushers in the league. I suppose I would rather play the Browns but I think they matchup pretty well against us.
  6. I get what you are saying but there is no way to really practice deep passes in swirling and gusting winds. Once the ball is lofted high enough the wind is gonna take it where it takes it. If the winds are gusting better to not even try passes longer than 30 yards.
  7. You’re like a robot. You don’t believe in intangibles, the process. No emotion
  8. After all this you still are not a process truster. Maybe you should change your TBD name to PartTimeProcessTruster
  9. Yes. And Penfield should douse himself in it as well
  10. Taron Johnson Hughes Milano Edmund Frazier McDermott Diggs
  11. Because this thread is about Sammy Watkins and I’m responding to it. If you don’t like it, don’t respond to me.
  12. Garappolo is slightly better than a decent game day manager. He can win you some games and put up really nice numbers when the game plan is solid, but if he has to go off script and going up against a good defense then he can’t win it for you. If he had been our QB against the Colts this past weekend, no way in hell the Bills win.
  13. Aside from being brittle he doesn’t have what it takes mentally to be the player his talent merits.
  14. Josh Allen has by far the fastest measured throw out of any QB in the past 10 years. Lamar has one of the weakest ones.
  15. Yeah, I mean if the pass was absolutely perfect maybe Brown could have made a play. The throw was fine, the problem on that play is that Brown couldn't get any real separation on Peters.
  16. There is little doubt that the Bills can thrash their defense, the question is will they? If we put up 30+ points I don't see the Ravens keeping up with us. I could be wrong, Baltimore certainly can put up those sort of points but I don't see it.
  17. Depends on their blitz packages. When they blitz with 5-6 which they will then yeah, max protecting with 6-7 makes sense.
  18. Actually, I wouldn't mind 6 and 7 man protections for most of the game. The Bills do a good job picking up the blitz and if given enough time they will get open.
  19. It’s super unusual for there to be a lot of chatter from within the organization primarily players criticizing the potential franchise rookie high end first round QB. Part of it obviously is on Tua for not demonstrating that he’s the man but also on Flores. If Flores had not benched Tua I don’t think you’d be hearing all these anonymous quotes. He emasculated him by taking him out for Fitz in order to win the game. I don’t think Flores realizes the psychological impact not just for Tua but for his teammates.
  20. I think Buffalo comes out with a really good game and win 31-20.
  21. Looking healthy. Darryl Williams you'd like to see out there for special teams but not a huge loss. Good to see Stefon and Oliver back to full and Beasley obviously is still on the mend but at least his injury designation is not at questionable meaning he's healthier than he was last week at this time. I'd say the Bills are pretty dang healthy going into the playoffs aside from Moss.
  22. The Ravens made a highly efficient Titans attack look downright pedestrian. On the other hand the Browns torched them. Just like most sports, it's a game of matchups. I could envision a good defensive game by the Ravens with their good pass rush, ability to turn the ball over and probably the best trio of man cover corners in the league. I could also see how blitzing teams who play man defense against the Bills have been getting scorched this year. Sort of plays right into the Bills strength. It's going to be a strength vs strength matchup.
