  1. I hear he drives a BMW
  2. It's yet to be determined but I have a hunch he will be out of football by that time.
  3. I admire TT as a leader and man and his ability to protect the ball as well as he did is certainly a trait that hasn't earned him enough praise but he has lots of limitations and his ceiling has been largely reached. He is what he is, which is your quintessential game managing QB and nothing more. And if you don't see that then you just don't know football.
  4. It will be more than a 4th and more than $14-$16m A year
  5. Daboll ran RPO a good bit this past season. It would be a fit
  6. Foles could make sense. At worst you get a similar level (not style) of play as TT, at best you get a Gannon franchise QB for the next 4-6 years. He has done it before and under the right circumstances could do it again. The concerning part has been his consistency and that would be the calculation, which is basically the calculation you make with a high end rookie. So it's not a matter if he can but will he. I wouldn't be opposed to gambling on Foles who has proven to be a high ceiling QB. It's his consistency that would be the risk.
  7. I think this is a distinct possibility and I'm ok with that. Last year i had said that I thought TT could fetch a 3rd rounder and people scoffed. I must admit, I didn't believe we could get that sort of value today. Yet another masterful move by Beane. So glad that we finally have a real GM
  8. There is another poster that always links back to his thread when a topic that he brought up is already being discussed. Don't be that guy. It's kind of douchy
  9. Leader of men, dedicated athlete and true professional. He was part of the reason we made the playoffs and for that I'm thankful. Having said that, he reached near the top of his ceiling and it was time to move on. Good luck TT
  10. All it takes is one team to overpay. He has shown that he is a $7m a year sort of player but his pedigree and talent could intrigue a team to consider paying him over his value.
  11. Hey DR, I just popped in to see what the PPP crew was up to and read your post. I've enjoyed our conversations even though there was a time or two I was embarrassed by my responses. Not so much the argument or position I held but in the way it had devolved. I respect your contributions.
  12. A lot of conspiracy gobbledygook.
  13. $8-$9m a year sounds about right. Even though we only got one year out of him, he was a key contributor and without him we most likely wouldn't have made the playoffs. Hopefully Vontae can step in and be as effective Gaines was for us.
  14. Because I don't believe they would want to commit the sort of money that he would probably be asking for to another position that isn't a relative weakness on the team.
  15. I doubt Beane/McD are even considering him.
  16. I don't believe any of them will but that wasn't the question. The question was which QB is most likely to and even though I believe before it is all said and done that Mayfield will be the best of the lot, I believe he has a chance at sliding in the draft more so than the others.
  17. Man, giving up a 1st is steep, but then again if Foles can play at the level he can play then it becomes a steal. I would much rather prefer a 2nd, 5th 2019 and tyrod.
  18. To be fair, trading Dareus was not about making the Bills better in 17 or for that matter 18, it was about all the cap room they save in 19 and beyond which is huge. They clearly believed that he hadn't fully bought in and would never play at the level of his contract. The loss of Dareus cerrainly impacted our run defense but I still believe it was the right move.
  19. It's conceivable he could get a 2nd but not likely. There are just too many injury concerns. Most likely anywhere from a 3rd to a fifth.
  20. Me pretending to have never made the prediction and to not being held accountable
  21. It's plausible, and all it takes is one idiot GM. It's hard to predict what will happen because as I mentioned, it just takes one team to set the value. I'd bet my bottom dollar that if you surveyed all 32 GM's, the average salary they'd estimate his worth would be South of $10m. Heck even sporttrac has him around $6-$7m. I think that is a tad low but just goes to show you there is a growing belief that he has become a disappointment relative to where he was projected to be at this stage of his career.
  22. That would be a good idea
  23. No he is not. If Matthews were to be open to a one year prove it deal with low guaranteed with incentives, then yes I would certainly be open.
  24. There will be 4 QB's picked in the top 10. Bank on it
