  1. That's going to be tough. Wow!
  2. That's too bad. With all the craziness that is going on with Zay and losing Matthews and Deonte, addressing the WR position all of a sudden just GOT REAL!
  3. Baker is my #1 and Rosen my #2. Will be happy with either.
  4. Just saw the video. It's saddening. Seems like a good kid but something is going on and this will be awfully tough for him to come back from. No bueno
  5. Nudity, LSD? Not quite
  6. Aside from bending your mind, seeing yourself in a Vision of mush, paralyzing you and giving you a sense of terror like you've never felt before, it's mild. So Ive been told.
  7. Watkins has been gone a year, moved on to his third team and you still have him as your avatar.
  8. Matthews is a good guy and when healthy he is a good 3rd receiver for a team. He definitely is no number one receiver.
  9. I think you're right, the fact that Sammy and Matthews already are on their third team in five years does speak to what you are saying.
  10. I don't know. But whatever valuations Beane puts on the players, I hope he sticks to that valuation. In other words if it calls on to mortgage the farm on a player and they believe that is their guy, then go for it. If they put a lesser valuation on that player and now are forced to go above that value, then pass and move on to the next option.
  11. I was hoping that would be the final offer to get it done. I just hope we don't have to trade next year's first, you never know...... It could end up being a top 10 pick.
  12. This concept of "house money" is silly. Those are our assets that we traded for and they shouldn't be treated any differently than any other draft assets we own.
  13. Not sure what a lot of you were expecting, there are lots of holes to fill and salary cap purgatory that was caused by Whaley that Beane has been cleaning up.
  14. They may be doing alot of things, snoozing ain't one of them.
  15. I wouldn't categorize these signings as "depth" but more so as competition. It's quite possible that they could end up being starters this year. I think it also adds credence to the idea that we may be trading up as well.
  16. He looks like a good prospect to me. I wouldn't be upset if we got him with our 22nd pick.
  17. Bandit, you know I respect your opinion but if memory serves me correctly you stated that Ducasse may be the worst Guard in the league. Well, I'm not saying he's good but he definitely was pretty close to average last year. Not just according to PFF but from everything that I saw from him. He would whiff on some blocks and he would also make key blocks. In other words he was not nearly as bad as you thought he'd be. https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/vladimir-ducasse/5586 This Marshall guy, I really have no idea what he has done, but according to PFF he has been poor. Not that PFF is the be-all-end-all but it is a metric.
  18. The value of #2 most likely changed after what transpired this weekend.
  19. I would have to believe that the Browns won't be trading out of their first pick but they have to at least listen to the offer to see if it is something they simply could not refuse. I don't believe that will be the case though. Also, I do believe the Giants will select a QB. I know there is all this talk of them trying to compete for Super Bowl now, but it will be awfully difficult for them to have an opportunity better than this year to select a franchise QB, and with Eli being at the end of his career I think it would be GM malpractice to not get Eli's successor. If that plays out the way I believe it will, which is that 3 QB's will be selected with the first 3 picks then I think it's very possible that the Bills miss out on their preferred QB and they stay pat with their 12 pick and not chase after the 4th QB, unless of course they are fortunate enough to where the 4th QB happened to be the one they were hoping for. Which I'd put those odds at 33%.
  20. One of the things that Beane always eludes to in the sort of DNA that he looks for is that they are a "competitor". If there is a knock on Rosen, it's that he is perceived to not be that much of a competitor. By the way, Rosen and Mayfield are my two favorites and from my untrained eye would be the ones that I hope we get. But the comments from Beane is something to consider. Maybe they aren't all that high on Rosen. Who knows?
  21. On the other hand, R. Wilson wasn't 18 overall either
  22. He'll get his chance but that won't preclude Beane/McD from going after a potential franchise QB if one is to be had. They just need to stick to their board and valuations and trust their own process.
  23. A couple things: No, this was not part of the plan. But I trust they have a plan that they are sticking to. And No, fans overreactions don't factor into their decision making.
