  1. He's a beast and good chance he turns out to be a Pro bowl level LB. Has size, speed and instincts. His size speed combo is one of the most impressive in the entire draft and he has the production to back it up.
  2. Keep in mind, it wasn't as if Allen was the leftover choice, this is who they wanted. I will trust their judgement and roll with it.
  3. We'll get our franchise QB at 4. No need to get to 2 only unless you believe whoever is at 2 is a clear cut better QB than whoever is left.
  4. I would say so. There are a higher quantity of teams that are in the top 8 that are wanting to trade down than teams trying to trade up. And when you consider that the Bills have the most draft capital it puts them in an enviable position if you are seeking a franchise qb
  5. I actually believe this. This is a matter of supply and demand. The popular belief is that the teams that are looking to trade down have all the leverage simply because they know that the teams that are looking to trade up are desperate to get a QB. While some of that is definitely true what is also true is that a team such as the Bills have got all these valuable picks and there are quite a few teams that believe their QB situation is OK/Good and they want those picks. And now we are beginning to hear all these teams that are open to trading down. At the beginning they were all posturing, basically implying that staying put to get one of the premium 6-8 players we hear about is their main goal. Now that things are beginning to unfold and some teams are now expressing interest that they are open for business to trade down, it's causing other teams to try to get in on the action as well. Bottom line, I don't think we are going to get fleeced as bad as the JETS if we trade up, simply because there is a high supply of teams that are willing to trade down.
  6. This I believe would be the worst possible outcome. The need to try to get to 2, which may not even be possible if you believe the reports that Giants would select Darnold would be that extremely urgent. I think if Mayfield and Darnold are off the board by the time the Jets pick, I believe they get Rosen over Allen.
  7. This is how I see going down.
  8. I suppose that could be true but then that would mean they are essentially punting from getting their top QB in this years draft. Which in my view would be a mistake from a GM point of view. It could turn out to be the right decision but if they strike out on selecting their QB after trading down then Dorsey should be fired for making a monumental mistake.
  9. What would be the possible motive to have a smokescreen when you hold the #1 pick? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless they believe they could get their QB at a later pick or that they have multiple QB's who are rated about the same as their top choice.
  10. Well, he was right! Just not with him.
  11. Get to 4 or 5 and we'll get either Mayfield or Rosen.
  12. To be honest, I think 5 is the spot to be because the two best QB's from my view are Mayfield and Rosen and I think there is a good chance that one of those guys will be there at 5.
  13. You never know what's going on but they may have been motivated to get that word out knowing that the Cards and Bills are looking to slot themselves into the 6 spot.
  14. Initially I will be a bit disappointed but I'll roll with it and trust that they did their evaluations and selected the right guy.
  15. Probably would need to have either at least 3 more 1000 rushing yard seasons or lead us to a historic Playoff victory with him as the unquestioned team offensive MVP of the season.
  16. I would think open air, I hear Dunkirk Donna has got the scoop on the future plans.
  17. I think he's reacting to the release of Cap Capi
  18. Oh no! Not Cap Capi!
  19. That's a whole hell of a lot to give up but if it nets us a franchise QB then it would all be worth it. Having said that, I would suspect that we are in for a rough season.
  20. What a ball teaser.
  21. Let's see how he looks by at least week 8 of this season and then we'll have a better idea of if he is worth re-signing at that time or having him test out UFA. By the looks of that video up above, he looks like he's getting himself in shape for this very important contract year coming up.
  22. And there is going to continue to be a lot of turnover. Quite a few of the replacements are not going to be part of the long-term overhaul, rather roster fillers that fit the mold of what they are trying to do but simply aren't up to par talent wise. I suspect by the time we reach September of 2019 there will be somewhere between 20-30 new faces that aren't currently on the roster now. This team will improve markedly from a talent perspective.
  23. He was the guy I was hoping we'd draft that year. Oh well.
