  1. But besides that he's got #1 WR written all over him.
  2. Just biding his tim until the perfect moment to strike!
  3. This doesn't even consider the fact that they struggle to get separation, which is another problem.
  4. The philosophy is the same as 90% of the coaches in the NFL. He is just good at getting his players to do it and has a HOF QB on the roster. That's why he has been more successful than everyone else.
  5. At this point that's probably true. I don't know any way that is confidence can't be destroyed, which doesn't exactly make him a reliable backup.
  6. I thought he played well too. I thought it was interesting that when he got dinged up and Groy came in he immediately got beat for a sack. He's probably not the long term answer at center but he appears better than Groy anyway.
  7. If a 0% hit rate over two drafts and free agency periods doesn't create any questions for you then you an I do indeed have different expectations.
  8. The've changed every single WR. None of their new players at this position are playing well. I think it's reasonable to question how the process is going at that position. Especially when you consider that some of the guys that left are doing very well on their new teams.
  9. You are moving the goalposts. They've made a lot of roster moves at WR and haven't found any good ones yet. Do you dispute this or not?
  10. They've turned over virtually the entire roster so it's not like they haven't made any moves.
  11. Based on this definition every team in the NFL is "young".
  12. Shhh. You're ruining the party.
  13. Sammy Watkins?
  14. Not for the Steelers. Pretty big age difference.
  15. He has never really had the opportunity to call anything special. He's announced for some of the worst teams in the history of the franchise. No "fandamonium" or anything else when you're getting pummeled and missing the playoffs year after yer.
  16. Would be a Whaley like mistake. If you don’t have a clear franchise QB and one is available who believe will be great, it would be silly not to take him. You can get back more than what you spent in draft capital for the other one if he’s good as well.
  17. Hard to blame him too much if he has a franchise QB starting by week 4 with a .500 record. Bills deans would dream of something like that.
  18. Obviously you draft him if you think he’s a franchise QB, without any question at all. If both then look like top players you trade one later for multiple #1 picks.
  19. Schwartz runs a combination of man and zone. Rex Ryan ran a lot more man to man that Schwartz ever did and that didn't work out to well.
  20. How about just running the ball more. They have thrown it on 65% of their offensive plays. Can't get into any kind of running game rhythm doing that.
  21. Probably true, but he's married so that may be problematic.
  22. It happened in the first half. I think the struggles may have more to do with execution that personnel groupings. Now you know why! You can't have too many corners.
  23. Or spend it strippers and blow.
