  1. Yes. That is my recollection from his time in Minnesota.
  2. More impartial comments about the Panthers and their fans. lol.
  3. Exactly. Roman is gone. "Our O" isn't going to be the same next season.
  4. But Whaley said that Lynn was in on the decision.
  5. Maybe the GM will report to the HC now. lol. Bills front office, ownership and the press working together well to make sure that no one knows what the Bills were doing, are doing or will do with respect to the head coach.
  6. Why would Wade accept that? That's why he left in the first place.
  7. I think Marv declared victory at halftime too and broke out the champagne. The team failed to show up for the second half.
  8. Not really any objective criteria. He has no head coaching experience at all- at any level. He's only been an OL for part of one season. He speaks with authority and makes an impression when he inters the room, so he's going to be a good one. lol.
  9. The media is responsible for everything. They made Doug Whaley lie at his PC. The made the Bills refuse to answer any questions about firing the head coach. They've kept the Bills out of the playoffs the last 20 years. Half of my friends blame them for Donald Trump getting elected and the other half blame them for trying to stop his candidacy. One they agree upon- they are to blame.
  10. Another messenger shot by the TBD vanguard.
  11. Man, the apologists are in overdrive. Lol. The MEDIA- comic book super villains responsible for all the worlds ills. They've replaced the Jews as defacto scapegoats apparently.
  12. So Whaley never discussed Rex or the coaching in the conversations leading up to the firing and when informed he didn't even care why? Lol. Right.
  13. How can anyone actually believe that the GM of the team never discussed the team's coaching with the owner over the course of the season and, when informed by the owner that the coach had been fired, didn't even care enough to ask why? It's loudicrous.
  14. He just always ended up with Fitz. Crazy.
  15. Well, I doubt that Whaley will be successful at throwing the Pegulas under the bus so this will be on him no matter what.
  16. Yeah, but when QB is on the list you've got a lot of work to do. It's the hardest position to find.
  17. Sure, but I suspect he will get the Denver job.
  18. To yell and curse at them when they're off? That would help me in my job too.
  19. Chip Kelly😜
  20. Lynn said that they can't work on the issues Tyrod has during the season, because they're trying to win. So they cater the offense to what the players do well and don't do the other things much. However, he seemed optimistic about the possibility of Tyrod developing into a more complete and consistent passer in the offseason.
  21. Phil Simms implied this during the Steelers game, basically saying that the Bills passing offense was too simplistic and not practiced enough to perform at a high level. It does make sense. You can only practice so much during the week and they have a very complex running game to work on. OTOH, the goal is winning and SF did come within a few plays of winning the Super Bowl running it so the jury is still out IMO.
  22. So you think that the team should make the QB decision without any input from the new head coach? And that is a sign of competence. Nice. Good luck finding a non-clown to take the position if that's the case.
  23. So what was different here from his other 13 years in the league? He became stupid when he got off the plane at the Buffalo airport? Players maybe?
  24. Then they are a joke. Which would explain a lot of things, but I'm holding out hope that they have a modicum of competence. If they are competent*, what they are doing now is making preparations IN CASE they decide to move on. The game is meaningless so why not.
  25. Unless the Bills organization is a complete joke (which is possible) the decision on Tyrod CAN'T have been made yet. The new head coach MUST have input on his quarterback situation, since it is the most important single position in determining if he succeeds or fails. No coach worth hiring would take the job without this input and the team would be crazy not to give it to him.
