  1. Once financial concerns override winning, then you're going to have a problem with motivation. The Bills are going to mail this game in. No question in my mind.
  2. So because Rex scapegoated Roman, Whaley didn't scapegoat Rex? Back to logic class... It's all good. We'll just be back here in another year or two hearing how none of this is Whaley's fault.
  3. I'd be surprised if the players from both teams don't mail this one in.
  4. Yeah, that's his job. But why throw him under the bus after one season? That's ok because he didn't have the final sign off on the hire? He was very quick to scapegoat both HCs he's had.
  5. You're letting him off way to easy, IMO. If he's a true team player then he should be doing everything he can to support his HCs. Instead, he's a major reason in why they are leaving. That's not good.
  6. Lol. Right. He can't work with Marrone... Marrone is gone. He throws Ryan under the bus saying that Ryan hasn't produce with the "elite talent" he has provided... Ryan gone. Now he leads the search again with no responsibility for how the the previous two situations ended? You are in a dream world if you don't think he is a major factor in the disfunction. But carry on with your spin.
  7. Rex was right. How do you think Kyle Williams or Hughes or Gilmore or a host of others feel about the team risking an injury to them in a meaningless game? Either play it like a preseason game or play to win.
  8. He should be owning it already, IMO.
  9. Lol. Keep It Simple Stupid.
  10. Lol. It's the blind leading the blind.
  11. Then they can cut him in camp.
  12. If he's willing to come back at the NFL vet minimum then why not?
  13. What happens if Lynn changes Greg Roman's offense and it doesn't do as well? Will he still be a genius?
  14. And who the coach is. Too many variables right now.
  15. Agree with this. I think Whaley has done a good job personnel wise but his relationship with the HCs has been very sketchy despite all the public BS about working together well. It seems like he kisses up to the owners and throws the HC under the bus for all the teams issues. That's not good leadership.
  16. Do you mean begging his offense to dominate the time of possession? Genius!
  17. It has nothing to do with smarts, IMO. To play Rex's defense, you need a "lock down" cornerback and the Bills don't have one. I'm not saying that Gilmore is bad, far from it. But he is not elite, which is what is required.
  18. He would do everything in his power to negotiate his leaving immediately. Forcing him to stay under those conditions would benefit no one.
  19. Exactly what I was thinking. And even if the owners are that clueless, Rex would never do it. He would be gone. This is total BS.
  20. Could lose vs the Jets on the road too. Tough last two games.
  21. Lol. This thread is good. It sums up my attitude as well. What happens to Schefters credibility if Rex isn't fired after today's game? Nothing right? That's the problem. Maybe if there were some real consequences they would be more careful about throwing around speculative reports concerning people's jobs.
  22. He is the defacto DC now and the defense sucks, so I don't see why.
  23. Joe Gibbs Bill Parcells George Allen Marty Schottenheimer Bill Cowher (pre-Roethlisberger) Bud Grant (pre-Tarkenton) George Halas
  24. Lol. Close enough if it helps your case. But in any event let's see what works out first: the Jets drafting a QB every year or the Bills do it once every 3.
