  1. 134 pages. I don't think the Mario Williams signing garnered this much attention. You'd think that Maclin was Jerry's Rice or something. He would be the #2 WR on a heavily run oriented team. I'm happy that the team is apparently doing to the wise thing and being very careful in what they are offering him. He's not worth as much to the Bills as he might be to some other teams.
  2. You know what I'm worried about: I think Tyrod is a poor fit for the west coast offense. Quick decisions and accurate, rhythm passing are not what I think of when I think of Taylor. He was an excellent fit in Greg Roman's offense (power running game + big plays in passing game). I think TT has some ability but has to be used right and I really wonder if he will be.
  3. I think Maclin is a better fit personally, but I hope that they don't break the bank for him.
  4. lol. Yeah, I can see him looking up the bus schedules.
  5. Mexican food in WNY... smh. Get something else.
  6. So if that's the case then why come here with Dennison installing the same type of offense?
  7. I'm scratching my head at that one too. Nice.
  8. It's a good question. You have to wonder...
  9. The only way to "measure" how good the Bills are would be to look at the win-loss column, and since the games haven't started yet I'm not sure how they could be "measurably worse." Maybe "apparently worse in my opinion" would be more accurate.
  10. lol. Sounds awesome. ... BUT he stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
  11. Sammy is probably worth 10 spots by himself... if he's healthy*. Outside of that, they have bupkis though.
  12. I'm confused. I read on this board that: a) Ragland, Lawson and Washington are going to be awesome b) Watkins is going to be the next Julio Jones. c) Lesean McCoy is the best RB in the league d) Whaley sucks. How can a, b and c be true is d is true as well? Strange.
  13. I'm trying to consolidate how Ragland, Lawson and Washington can be awesome while Whaley is a piece of crap. There is some serious dissonance on this board.
  14. Probably an over statement. Heck if just Tyrod has an all pro season I would pencil them into the playoffs. If all four do then you are talking about a championship contender. The chances are so unlikely though...
  15. I guess I'll be the only one to agree with you. Public funded football only stadiums are a total scam and not the slightest bit in the public interest. They cost a fortune, are rarely ever utilized outside of the few football dates per year, take up a ton of valuable real estate (or if they're built in the boonies cost a ton in infrastructure improvements) and generate minimal jobs and income for the area. If politicians cared at all about the regular tax payer they would put it to a referendum, except that they have noticed that those don't go so well so they don't Here in Charlotte, they had a referendum on a new downtown arena. Lost. And then build the stadium anyway using a different (but still public) funding stream. That's how much they care about what the tax payers want.
  16. You know this all sounds good but it really doesn't mean anything until they show that it leads to success on the football field. Chan Gailey sounded good too with his "tough game for tough people" and "getting bigger" talk and Greg Williams was as detail oriented as McDermott is. Neither one of them were able to win though. Flaws were revealed once the games started. Still, it's nice that they have a plan.
  17. He was producing pretty well last season. So much so that many on this board were calling for him to start at LT and Glenn to be moved to RT. Now that he is released he sucks, per the usual.
  18. As opposed to lazy, dark skinned, drug addicted thugs? ... or are these just racist stereotypes?
  19. This is where I stand too. He's going into his 7th season. What was he doing up until now? Was no one coaching him properly? I doubt it.
  20. I don't see how a non-surgically ankle injury that didn't heal fully in an entire offseason is going to get better or even last once the season starts. Sounds like it might be a chronic thing he has to deal with for the foreseeable future.
  21. It's a pretty old backfield in RB terms.
