    Realistic. DL take a while to get used to the NFL and last season was almost completely lost for him so it'll be a couple of years, best case, before he's as productive as some here are predicting, IMO. He's no Mario 2013 or 2014, that's for sure.

    It sounds like the Bills are looking for a GM that doesn't have a fixed overall vision but can take McDermott's vision and find players that fit for the coach to make a final decision on. That sounds like a perfect fit for Whaley to me. Bring him in.

    I'd like someone to disrespect me with all the money he got. The last I saw the estimate was $17m for the franchise tag, so $4m more. He would need some kind of year to warrant that. Either they sign him to a new long term contract or he walks.

    If Mahomes turns out to be a top QB then the Chiefs stole him for nothing. If he sucks then they screwed themselves. But at least they bought a ticket and are in the game. Hopefully the Bills will join them tonight.

    Exactly. How can you not draft a QB when you have desperately needed one for 20 years and look yourself in the mirror? I guess you just pray that they all suck so that you don't look like a jackass. Take a chance and grab one if you ever want to win a championship.
