High End- Joe Flacco/ Cam Newton Low End- Ryan Tannehill Worst Case- brock Osweiler

One fixed the other a mystery...Teller may have potential long term but his pass blocking is worst than any inside lineman that is currently starting. He needs time to develop, imo. First, I'll state the obvious, the offense needs an identity. They have to figure out what plays can the players execute effectively regardless of the defensive front. Unfortunately, this will take time to find out...It starts with Allen's development and learning when to get out of bad play calls against the defensive look. Once this step is accomplished, step two: Identify and go get the personnel to fit the identity of the offense; FA's , draft or development from PS. Ideally, I'd prefer the use of free agency to fill a team need by using players that have experience in the league . And use the draft to get the best players available that fill a team profile of the position with one caveat, get skill position players that are typically high cost in free agency ie., QB, OT, Pass Rushers, CB, WR. It's a longer process but it's the right way...Allen will learn after this year through experience, how to read schemes like today & to change to a better play or call timeout. Step 3: Hope & pray that the HC has enough time for all this to come together!

How many players on offense come back next year

If this is the OT you are referring to, He's horrendous! Did you check out his attempt at pass pro after Mills got hurt? Horrible! -
McDermott not pleased with WRs in practice

I love this by McD. It shows that details are important... Why didn't Dabol, show the same concern? I hope the OC got a wake up as well. -
Would you draft Oliver or Bosa?

No timetable for return...that's concerning. He is only a junior so being patient is prudent. -
The Bills Worked Out Eight Players Yesterday

This ^^^^^ The McBean process is really starting to concern me...the roster voids were created by them but the holes are everywhere. When are these "process" players gonna contribute? -
Would you draft Oliver or Bosa?

I'm referring to the weight room warriors/ measureable type...very seldom do they last. One exception is James Harrison (pretty sure that was chemically induced) but he has gotten away with it. Bosa is on a very good team at OSU with many NFL talents in the rotation. Is he that dominate or is it the scheme? Oliver on the other hand, is the identity of the Houston defense who never leaves the field. That is why I chose him in this discussion. Pumped up guys that I'm referring to are guys like : Tony Mandarich; Brian Bosworth; Mike Mamula; Aaron Maybin; Vernon Gholston; Aaron Curry;Courtney Brown...there are more. These guys, looked like tarzan in college and for whatever reason injuries, schemes or PED's shortened their careers. That injury to Bosa that sideline him last week imo, will affect his play if OSU isn't patient with him...speed & power with a groin injury is not a good mix but time will reveal. -

Lets see how he holds up this year. That groin injury that took him out of the game last week will linger...I stand by my assessment that pumped up guys don't last long in the league... Oliver has started every game since day one and has been a disruptive force up the middle ala Aaron Donald. Both players are difference makers, I'd prefer the guy that will push the middle of the pocket & be a playmaker in the running game. -
Did I miss something with this guy? Beside being a turnstile in pass pro, what is so great about him? He was average at best in the running game, so what's the rush? Give him time to adjust before throwing him into the fold. I couldn't imagine him next to Groy trying to pass block, things would actually be worst... and that's hard to fathom.

I would take Oliver due to the fact that he has played in every game (and started) in his career at Houston. I like Bosa but the nagging injuries are a concern...those pumped up guys never seem to last. Side note: If we are the worst team at the end of the year and pick 1st overall, McBean better be ready to trade down (even a few times) and fill this rosters depth with good prospects/ starters. -

Peterman Stats - Historical Ranking?

You get no argument from me... IMO, development of Allen is the best case scenario. Not having a viable bridge veteran QB to tutor Allen on the roster is a major snafu by McBean. -

If that's the case, better off starting the Josh Allen era this week. He will learn nothing by watching a JV QB struggle under center...McBean has really f'd up this situation. -

He's a good guy but NOT an NFL QB...this is the big leagues let him practice elsewhere! -

AJM was not anything special... that is a push, imo. -
I agree with you. What was even more evident, on offense the starters could not move the ball against the Ravens backups. And the defense were still struggling with their 2nd team offense, how bad is that?

Patrick Mahomes Lighting up the Chargers

You have to give Andy Reid credit, he knows how to develop QB's. Also, how does the KC offense make it look so simple? Players literally waltz in the end zone untouched... -
1 of...errrr, forget it!

Wasn't Andy Levitre a Bill
pimp on da' net replied to Watkins90's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His 2nd off season with surgery on the opposite knee was a factor according to the article a posted... I don't claim to know the thought/thoughts of the front office. But they had idea of the value of the position and Andy got way more from the Titans, who in turn got rid of him as well.
