    The constant belief the Giants want to move out of #2 is nauseating. Look how much the Jets just gave up to move a few spots. We control nothing at this point other than the #12 pick. we call the Giants and theyre going to want both our 1st round picks. Our 2nd round pick. And probably our 1st round pick next year.     You do realize that just bc our guy is there at #2 doesnt mean that the Giants are going to trade with us right? People seem to think Beane controls his owm destiny - he doesnt. As of right now, the Jets are 100% in a better position than us to get their guy.

    Youre probably right. I just dont know. Beane has done things i never expected: trading sammy, dareus, trading for Benjamin, etc.

    I wouldnt belive a single word from anyone in the Bills org at this time. I get that Beane has, in the past, commented on bldg the team through the draft. But the QB position is another animal in my opinion. You have zero guarantees you’ll get your guy on draft day. You dont have that kind of unilateral control. FA has to be plan A. And the draft has to be plan B.

    But does that philosophy apply to a QB who is just entering his prime (Cousins) is the question. We can technicaly blow the bank on Cousins and build the rest of the team through the draft with all our picks.

    We obtained him for basically nothing. Paid him like a bottom-tier QB. Made the playoffs with him. Broke the curse/drought. The guy was brought in as an afterthought. There were zero expectations. Success
