  1. You dont have to be a part of an aggrieved minority group to peacefully protest the fundamental human right to not get shot down in the street. And who hasnt criticized Kaep? If anything the guy has been overly criticized. If Kaep kneeling on a television screen is shoving something down your throat i suggest you take self-help classes on how to cope with the differing opinions of others. The guy wasnt kneeling to protest the price of his latte at Starbucks; he was kneeling to give a voice to those who cant be heard or no longer have one bc theyre dead.
  2. Sounds like something North Korea would do
  3. Ill say this about Dawkins: when he was starting i barely noticed him, which is a good thing for an OL. In an ideal world we wouldve had a healthy Glenn at LT and Dawkins at LG. But thats now how this cookie crumbled.
  4. I see you joined this board on April 27, 2017. Welcome to the board, Nate.
  5. Man that was a lifetime ago
  6. The secondary certainly has the potential to be a top 5 unit in NFL. That defensive line appears to be a huge question mark when it comes to rushing the passer. The run D should be solid though.
  7. How much did people pay for their tickets. Stubhub is pricey but I guess this is a bucket list item for me. The tix im gonna get are probably around $300/per. Plus 2 night hotel. Easily $1k when its said and done for 2 people.
  8. I personally like this series and the one that was on amazon prime (forget the name). I feel theyre as real as a reality show gets on tv. A football team isnt going to manufacture drama for the sake of ratings. The browns dont care about the show’s ratings. Whatever drama is present will be real. When you put 100 men together in a high-stakes environment the drama comes naturally. Im rooting for the Browns to do well. Their fans have suffered enough. Let the elite of the AFC turnover for the next 15yrs from the Steelers and Pats to the Browns and Bills.
  9. Kudos to Mayfield for bringing back the late 80s/early 90s look with those sneakers/socks. He’s a throwback to Animal House. Darnold’s expression comes from learning that a 2 bedroom apt in Manhattan will cost him half his signing bonus. If i had a daughter id let her marry Allen. He looks like hed be an awesome son in law. Rosen would be unimpressed if Jesus himself was asking the questions. Oh Lamar. Sitting and listening is already too much for Lamar to process.
  10. We didnt have to take EITHER QB there. You move up for a guy bc you really like him. If you dont really like either of them you sit tight and let the draft play out. We clearly thought Rosen was hot garbage. And im glad they chose wisely.
  11. Im ecstatic about our secondary in general. Poyer and Hyde are smack in the middle of their prime at 27yrs old. T White was amazing as a rookie. And V Davis has something to prove. Our secondary is easily the strongest unit on our team. As for the pass rush i dont see how people are expecting much better results this yr. The bright side is that it at least cant get much worse so there is that to look forward to. Lol. We’ll probably rank in bottom ten in sacks again unless Hughes has a resurgance and Shaq somehow figures things out. Our run D should be amazing this yr though.
  12. “Tossing other types of balls” hahha. Im sorry i couldnt refrain. ??‍♂️
  13. Zay Jones was hot garbage last season. You can still like the kid and say that in my opinion. No need to make excuses for him.
  14. Other than being amazing, I remember he had a funny looking helmet. The facemask appeared to stick out extra far. ??‍♂️ Maybe it was the shape of his head. Who knows.
  15. I can list you 50 QBs who I liked and they ended up sucking in the NFL. You know nothing Jon Snow.
  16. Fitz was amazing. This was everything a proper roast should be. The way everyone reacted to the Whaley joke really speaks volumes in my opinion. The whole point of a roast is that there is some truth behind what is said.
  17. Haha. That was reallly well done. They have the music city miracle there too
  18. Exactly. The fastest 100m time in the history of female athletics is 10.49 by Joyner. THE HISTORY OF FEMALE ATHLETICS. Marquise Goodwin ran a 10.24 100m in High School. Marquise goodwin is 5’10” (on a good day) and weighs 180lbs (on a good day). Hes a tiny guy for NFL standards. He still benched 225 13 times at the combine. Joyner was 5’7 128lbs. She wouldnt have been able to bench 225 once. Lets get one of the largest female sprinters. Marion Jones. Marion Jones ran a 10.65 100m sprint. 5th fastest in the history of female athletics. Shes 5’10 150lbs. Marion Jones would most likely not be able to put up 225lbs a single time. So you have a 0.0001% elite of elite female athlete in Marion Jones who is the same height as Goodwin, weighs 30lbs less, runs slower, and cant bench 225 a single time. Which of those two is getting drafted? Marquise Goodwin is an OK/good NFL player. But hes not even among the elite NFL players at his position. So where would Marion Jones stand in that spectrum? And Marion Jones is at the absolute PINNACLE of what a female athlete can be physiologically when you take into account her size and speed. And she cant even match up to a Marquise Goodwin type player. That should put things in perspective.
  19. Jim Leonhard weighed in at the combine at 190lbs. Ran a 4.6 40 and benched 225 19 times. No 5’8 female can do all of the above (which by the way is nothing special for NFL talent): she can be 5’8 and run that time, sure. But she’ll end up benching 225 maybe 5 times. And thats being extremely optimistic. For her to have the speed necessary to run that time (which isnt that fast for NFL) she’ll have to be leaner (simply look at what female sprinters weigh). A female isnt physiologically engineered to do both at that level. If you want a female to put up 225 19 times she would have to be a monster. I honestly dont even know if its possible. Id have to look at female powerlifters around the world to even get a point of reference. Unfortunately, a powerlifter isnt the ideal bodytype candidate to play in the NFL. Unfortunately theres no way around this argument regardless of what side of the bell curve youre looking at. Genetics and physiology are incontestible here.
  20. “Guy” “come one Guy! Make the tackle!”
  21. There are so many factors to consider with these two teams that i can see a very large swing on W/L depending on how things play out for either team. I can see both the Browns and Bills being bad enough to win only 4 games (worst case scenario). I can see either team being good enough to win up to 9 games (best case scenario). Like always it comes down to the QB and injuries.
  22. Im not denying females can be large. Its a strength/speed issue. The taller the female the slower she is. Elite Female athletes are already naturally slower than elite male athletes. We’re talking about a league where one to two tenths of a second is the difference between making it and not making it. Also, and above all else, is the stength issue. There are large female athletes for sure. But how strong are they compared to their male counterparts. Thats the key here. Could a 6’5 250lb female take a hit from a 200lb safety? I guess. But she would never be in the league to begin with bc that 6’5 250lb TE female wouldnt be able to run faster than her male counterparts to make that TE spot. Could a 5’9 140lb female be fast enough to play CB/WR/RB. On paper maybe. But in reality she wouldnt be strong enough and weigh enough to absorb the hits she would take. Unfortunately, physiologicaly speaking, women cant be big, strong, and fast all at the same time (strictly at NFL comparison standards of big/strong/fast). Theyre not built that way. If theyre really fast theyre going to be way too small for the NFL to absorb hits. If theyre big (mainly tall enough) theyre going to be way too slow/weak for the NFL.
  23. Thank you good Sir. People simply seem to forget basic physiological differences between males and females. The ignorance is mind-blowing. “Male athletes have a higher ratio of muscle mass to body weight, which allows for greater speed and acceleration. This explains why female speed records in running and swimming are consistently 10 percent slower than men’s and why, on average, they have two thirds the strength of men. “ The last sentence there is key above all else. Can a woman be fast. Of course. However shes going to be REALLY weak compared to her NFL counterpart of the same size, not even addressing those that are almost twice her size. The NFL isnt like many other sports where a special skill can overcome basic, fundamental physiological differences. The special skills in the NFL (speed, strength, size) are the very things that differentiate males/females physiologically. To argue against that is pretty foolish. There are 3 positions in the NFL that dont focus on those 3 traits: Kicker, Punter, and Quarterback. Like i said, i can see a female kicker/punter. In a world full of unicorns I can also see a female QB if she has a strong enough arm and amazing hand eye coordination/accuracy. But we’re far away from that happening. How many male QB’s have amazing accuracy and decent arm strength and still dont make the NFL: 99% of them dont.
  24. Haha. Lets break this down bc it really shouldnt be THIS complicated. Are there fast women in this world? Yes. Are there big women in this world? Yes. Are there strong women in this world? Yes. Now that those disclaimers are out of the way lets stop the nonsense. Some of the fastest women in the history of the world (Jeter, Jones, Joyner) have weighed between 128lbs and 150. Yes theyre fast. We’re talking about all-time fast. How strong are they? How big are they? A 128lb woman would DIE on a football field. Name me a single NFL player that weighs less than 150 (including kickers). Those sizes could only be used at WR or maybe CB. LB’s or safeties that weigh 220lbs+ would obliterate them. Lets go on opposite side of spectrum. Lets find a woman that is 6’5 and weighs 250. Can that woman run a 4.6 40? Can she put up 225lbs 20+ times?
