We technically do; at least for one pre season game.

Well lets see - one is a seasoned pro and the other has played about 2 quarters of NFL preseason football. Edmunds also improved as the game went on yesterday with a couple of nice tackles and one stuffed in the backfield/LOS

To me so far Allen has been the best looking QB on the Bills, and I'm trying to be 100% objective and not just root for the kid b/c ideally I want to see him play. He clearly has the only real NFL arm on this team (and boy what an arm it is). But in addition, he has demonstrated pocket presence, an ability to scramble out of the pocket, an ability to move up in the pocket, and has looked pretty poised.

To me Peterman can be an OK backup in the NFL. He doesn't appear to have the required arm strength to be consistently effective as a starter. When teams start game planning towards him and taking away all of the throws over the middle, we're going to see many INT's in my opinion; however, Peterman can come in and start a game or two and possibly be effective against weaker defenses.

It wont be trading for Teddy Bridgewater. Who honestly cares who it is. They wont be on the team when the season starts. Peterman has played well enough this preseason to be #2 at a minimum. And Allen will start at this rate.

We will sign a simple scrub to be the sacrificial lamb week 4 of the preseason and then cut him. Go with Allen week 1 with Peterman as the back up. Guys talking about trading for a QB. Come on, man!
