  1. I'd argue that we currently have too many holes and if we sign someone like Mack, we can't use FA to fill all these holes; and we won't be able to use the draft to fill these holes b/c we traded our picks for Mack. I would've been OK with a first round pick + Hughes for Mack b/c I agree that a talent like Mack is the whole purpose of having 1st round picks; But two first round picks + more is too much for a team like the Bills. We have a swiss cheese O-line - we need to upgrade at least 2 spots on the OL with very high draft picks. We drafted Allen high, we need to give him talent around him. We need an upgrade at WR McCoy's reign is also probably coming to an end. It wouldn't feel right if the Bills traded away that much.
  2. sad that we couldn't get him; but i get it. We need 2 OL drafted high next season.
  3. So are the Ravens good or bad? Is this an easy game or a hard game? I feel that in one tiny paragraph you contradicted yourself 2-3x. Only the Seahawks have a better home record since 2007 than the Ravens. This will be a very hard game.
  4. Logic holds that the Defensive Player of the Year should be the highest paid defensive player; and now he is.
  5. I wouldn’t give up 2 first round picks + pay that salary to any player other than a top 10 QB. I love Mack. I’d give them a 1st round pick and a 3rd round pick. Or a 1st round pick and a player like Hughes or even Shady.
  6. Im a doctor via Google.
  7. Yup, 8/27/18, and the sky is falling.
  8. I’m in favor of starting Peterman. Just not AJ McCarron.
  9. Dalton just stands back there with no pressure. Can we trade for Mack, now??
  10. We have no need for a pass rush. We can have a QB stand back there 6 seconds
  11. You know that’s an unrealistic expectation. Every INT will be followed by a told you so comment and how much better Rosen is.
  12. Whats the point of 1st round picks? To get elite talent. Mack is an elite talent and objectively, odds are we will not draft a player anywhere near the talent of Mack with our first round pick. Odds are that we’re more likely to draft another Shaw Lawson. There is always this obsession over next year’s draft pick. And guess what, let’s say we do draft a Mack-type talent, in 2-3yrs we’re going to have to pay him big time money too like we would Mack. We have the cap room. We have the QB, hopefully. And if we don’t have the QB, We aren’t drafting another QB in the 1st round for at least 2 yrs now bc Allen is going to get more than 1 season to prove himself. This is is all under the assumption that a 1st round pick + mid round pick or player like Hughes + 1st round pick can get the deal done. If the raiders start asking for 2 first round picks and a player or 3 draft picks etc, then I would change my opinion.
  13. At the end of the day a backup QB is as high on the priority list as a pile of poop. Teddy isnt going to sway anyone to give up Mack. Bills’ 1st rd pick + Jerry Hughes >>> Jets’ 1st rd pick and a backup QB who most likely will never see the field.
  14. 7-page thread on Tyrod. Gotta love it. Some of you sure love to hate the guy. Just read our boards. No need to head over to the Browns. Tyrod is still alive and well here.
  15. We all go in the fetal position and cry.
  16. Bc at the time the possibility of having AJ McCarron or Peterman throwing him the ball was even worse?
  17. Being objective, it makes sense a FA WR would hesitate coming here; cant blame him.
  18. ...and a rapist.
  19. Gruden walks in through the door making $100m while Mack busts his butt for the last few years, doesn’t miss a single game, defensive player of the year, all-pro..and for your hard work Mack? Keep playing on your rookie contract while we pay this chucky doll looking nut $100,000,000.00
