  1. She’s watching this epic sh*tshow and she states “you guys were doing so good last year, what happened.” I said we got a new O-line now and we let go of our QB. Simple rebuttal: “but you guys finally made the playoffs why would you do that?” I didnt respond and took a long sip of my alcoholic beverage.
  2. Thank god Turod is gone, he was holding this 13-3 team back.
  3. Whats your obsession with this guy? Its one thing to post several similar threads about a bills player in less than 24hrs but doing so about a sports columnist? Nobody cares.
  4. If I was GM id dedicate a huge portion of the salary cap to the lines. Id never draft a corner, safety, rb, LB, or TE in the first round until my Oline and Dline were set. A great Oline makes an average QB better by giving him more time, it makes an avg RB better by giving him wider lanes, and it makes receivers better bc they have that much more time to get open. A great DL makes the entire defense better for the exact opposite of what was stated above. The best corner in the world cant cover even an avg wide receiver if the QB has 5-6 seconds to throw the ball. Great Linebackers are useless when there are gaping holes at the LOS and they have to make tackles 8yds down field. Its a simple saying but it really does start at the LOS. Yes, you need talented skill players to make plays, too, but man the overall talent of the team increases exponentially when the o-line and d-lines are dominant. Unfortunately, i think a lot of GM’s are caught in that trap of wanting to sign or draft the exciting skill players that bring speed and size and generate buzz in the media. It’s harder to get excited about overweight linemen that are slow and look like they just ate a small calf. Everyone wants to drive a Ferrari around; but its the Honda Accord or Toyota Camry that will ultimately get you where you need to go everyday for years. Id retain proven good/great o-linemen and d-linemen at all costs.
  5. Trade down in 1st round and get an extra second round pick. Draft 2 OL with the first 3 picks.
  6. 2 yrs ago is about as relevant to this matchup as the operating system of a Commodore64 is to a Macbook. We will have a hard time stopping the run game I predict.
  7. Bosa was in a walking boot at practice today. I dont see him playing for a couple of weeks. And i just read page two in this thread lol. Yes, walking boot ??‍♂️
  8. Lets be honest - that game was close yesterday but not bc of good play. That was some bad football, and the worst part were all the penalties that broke up the flow of the game. Werent there something like 30 penalties called last night? I lost count.
  9. Always great seeing Peters dominate. ?
  10. Breakfast: 16oz of ice cold water; walk the pups and a whey protein shake with bananas, almond milk, and peanut butter. Lunch: A spinach salad with Sun-dried tomato turkey, 1 avocado, 2 hard boiled eggs, and green peppers; topped with a simple olive oil/balsamic vinegar dressing. Gametime: Two 20oz bottles of Adirondack Seltzer Water. A fifth of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. 2 limes for garnish. Snack: 1 bag of Salt and Pepper Pistachios Postgame: A cup of freshly brewed french press with a hefty shot of Cardenal Mendoza Brandy; enjoyed with a square of Lake Champlain dark chocolate. Dinner: A small french baguette spread with canned Da Morgada anchovies in olive oil and a few slivers of Manchego cheeese.
  11. I try and be as objective as possible. Their D-line should dominate our Oline and Nate Peterman doesnt have a single complete game of NFL experience under his belt. And its a road game so we dont even have that going for us.
  12. Bills 9 Ravens 24 nothing will really work this Sunday in a tough road game.
  13. Worth a looksy. We have a pop warner WR group.
  14. I completely agree. Tyrod Taylor was the only thing keeping this team from going 12-4; 13-3. Now that he’s gone its a no-brainer that we’re going to dominate.
  15. I would actually be in favor of acquiring him. His rosters were so deep he was able to win Super Bowls with Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco at QB. The Ravens have been relevant for 2 decades without having a single great QB. Ozzie is a genius as far as im concerned. Crown his ass.
  16. First round trade down and get an extra second. 1st round - OL 2nd round - OL 2nd round - OL 3rd round - OL That should about cover the OL for Allen's entire career here. lol
  17. reading through these posts, the main issue I have is the people that argue that "we should have done it." By all accounts, we definitely talked with Oakland about trading for Mack, but knowing what they got from the Bears lets play this scenario out. The Bears are offering us two 1st round picks and a third round pick, etc. We have to BEAT that. How do we beat that? Two 1st round picks and a second round pick? THREE 1st round picks? What if the Raiders valued the Bears 1st round picks more than the Bills? What if they anticipate that they're going to have higher draft picks for the next couple of years? Many people keep saying "we should have done it" like we were 100% in control of the situation and there weren't 6 other teams or more involved in trade talks. We were involved and it didn't work out. I would be completely upset if we didn't at least try to trade for him, but that doesn't appear to be the case. So why are people upset?
  18. I know Oakland fans must feel sick right now. But long-term the Raiders may have last laugh. Thats a lot of picks, and possibly high 1st rd picks, bc i dont think the Bears will win more than 7 games.
  19. And the raiders had a hell of a lot more on offense than us.
  20. “DUMPSTER FIRE” IN OAKLAND It's an utter nightmare for a Raiders team having a cataclysmically bad offseason/summer under old-is-new coach Jon Gruden. Gruden surrendered the No. 79 overall pick for Bryant during April's draft. As for Bryant, this is essentially a career-ender. Players almost never come back from one indefinite suspension. This will be Bryant's second. Going on 28, he seems unlikely to be readmitted to the league. It's a sad development for football fans everywhere, as Bryant had the potential to be one of the top playmakers in the league. The Raiders have a dumpster fire depth chart on both sides of the ball. - Dan Graziano via Twitter
  21. Exactly. All reports say that the Bills made an offer, so it's not like we sat this one out; but at what point does the asking price just become ridiculous? We can't be swayed by the fact that he played college ball in Buffalo and trade away an entire draft for 1 player plus have his salary eat up 20% of the cap. I'm sure the bills offered either a 1st and Hughes or maybe a 2019 1st and 2020 2nd round pick. It looks like the Bears are giving up two 1st round picks plus additional picks or a player, which is kinda crazy.
  22. Ducasse is garbage. I said it year 100x times and I keep saying it. GARBAGE.
  23. I'm all-in on Mack-type talent, but lets wait to see what the Bears traded b/c so far I've read it's two first round picks plus more. So the Bills would have to beat that. How much would you want to possibly give up then? 3 first round picks for Mack? At what point does it just get silly?
