“Outside of Allen” Drafting the best franchise QB since Kelly has the weight of 10 amazing draft picks. Beane is a rock star. Beane is a top 3 GM. Look at the talent on this roster. Some people are never happy.
-
Well im not happy about it.

1st half of season looks harder than 2nd half, on paper at least. Hopefully go into the bye @ 4-2 but realistically, after the Green Bay game, I see one game where we could really be favored to lose (Cincy). Yeh we’re in May, but I think a 13-4 season is very doable based on matchups.

its just you. “Peterman struggled in the NFL, throwing five interceptions during the first half of his starting debut and posting a 0.0 passer rating in the 2018 season opener. His 12 interceptions between 2017 and 2018 are the most for a quarterback with less than 100 passing attempts.” Career NFL statistics as of Week 5, 2021 TD–INT:3–12 Completion percentage:52.6 Passing yards:573 Passer rating:34.0 Rushing yards:84 Rushing touchdowns: 1 He sucks.

I would want to know the Ravens draft board. Or the Steelers. Or even Chiefs. Looking at the Cowboys’ draft board is a waste of our time. -
Im confused. Is Ryan paying the Titans for his services or are the Titans paying Ryan? If the Titans deem those services to include mentoring then ye shall mentor and stfu.

I must say i agree with you about Collinsworth. Nails on a chalkboard for me.

I agree with this take. It always amazes me how everyone on tv gets bashed by fans. Everyone sucks. -

i just dont see it. We have all watched him now several times and I specifically recall HOPING that he plays vs us and not the backup. That is all that needs to be said.

I dont necessarily disagree with you but im having a hard time seeing the production coming from a rookie WR in this offense, barring any major injury at WR Take last season, Cole Beasley, who was well integrated into this offense had less than 700yds receiving at WR3. Do you think a rookie is going to come in and beat out Davis? Maybe, but Davis has earned his shot at WR2 and will likely get it. Crowder is a really damn good slot receiver. Hes 100% going to start if hes healthy. And we havent even touched on Knox and McKenzie. But this second any WR we draft is going to battling for WR4/WR5 spot on this offense. I think youre being a bit unrealistic if you expect something different (again barring injury). And how much production is there to spread around to your WR4/WR5 to justify a 1st rd pick? But again, if we do go WR i get it. Im aware our bread and butter is the passing game. Cant hurt to load up

i keep going back and forth on this. I see absolutely nothing wrong with CB in RD1. If Dane gets injured before Tre bets back our CBs will be a disaster. If we draft a CB at 25 hes an instant day 1 starter on this roster. Id we draft a WR at 25, with Diggs, Davis and Crowder/McKenzie all ahead of him, how much are we going to actually use this guy this season? Maybe 300 receiving? MAYBE Thats a lot to invest in a player who could very well contribute little to a season where the Bills are going all-in to win. But if Diggs goes down…or Davis..yeh it would be nice to have another weapon to plug in. I dont think there is a wrong answer per se. I lean towards the everyday starter at CB being picked Rd 1. And drafting a WR in the 2nd round who can be integrated into the offensive juggernaut as the season progresses.

I agree. That quote wasn't his direct quote it was an interpretation from the article's author. In short White is one of the CB's McCreary looks up to in the NFL.
-
Roger McCreary https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/.amp/news/nfl-scouting-combine-spotlight-auburn-cb-roger-mccreary “He idolizes the Bills' Tre'Davious White and wouldn't mind being on the same team with him.”
-
?? McCreary is the same height 5’11/6’0 as every other CB on our roster, including 2 corners Beane drafted who are 5’11 McCreary is a baller. Full stop.

Theres the Carolina connection! Born in NC

I think its also important to note that unless we move up in the first round i dont see a WR taken at 25 beating Davis or Crowder. Diggs, Davis and Crowder are likely going to be 1-3 and Mckenzie is going to hopefully play a larger role in this offense. So right there those are 4 players that are likely going to get a lot of playtime. Its going to be tough for a late 1st rd WR to break in there unless there is an injury. thats why i feel its prob best to go with CB in the first - a real need, and then WR in the 2nd or 3rd round. But you can never have enough offense in today’s nfl so wont cry over taking a flyer on a WR in the first either
-
i think if Roger McCreary, CB from Auburn is there at 25. We have to take him and count our blessings. then id hope for christian watson, WR from north dakota state in 2nd round if we take Williams in the 1st round i wont be mad, but i feel WR is pretty deep where a really good WR can still be obtained in rds 2-3

From Dawg Pound to Bills Mafia - Browns Fans Leaving for the Bills
bobobonators replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some of the narratives im reading in these forums and arguments being made are so misinformed i dont even know where to begin. Its not the job of posters on this board to correct ignorance. Its a shame some of you vote. Making comparisons between OJ being acquitted and this are like comparing astronauts landing on the moon to what Bezos did months ago. The standard of proof to indict compared to that required to convict someone in trial are vastly different. The fact that Watson wasnt indicted on any charges is much more telling and compelling of his “innocence” than OJ being found not guilty in trial. Indictments are a dime a dozen. But the court of public opinion has spoken. The same court that has participated in the massive dumpster fire this planet is becoming. -

bobobonators replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Due to my job im well aware of how easy it is to indict someone. It doesnt take much at all. Not to get political, but not being able to indict Watson in TEXAS of all places, on any of the charges, leads me to believe the allegations were quite overblown if not downright false. If we can move past the dog killer Vick we can get past Watson saying “hey wanna see this rocket?” -
We need another option at WR. Take a corner 2nd round. i look at it like this: if poo hits the fan and Diggs goes down w an injury for an extended period we are in serious trouble vs good teams, regardless of who we have at corner. if poo hits the fan and we have an injury at Corner, its going to suck, but we arent shutting KC or LA to 20pts regardless of who we have at corner so having the ability to outscore them gives us the best chance. All things being equal and the state of affairs in the NFL w offense going bonkers, we have to be able to score at will. Just my 2cents.
